Thanks to Uda

So the story of Adrian's name taking is not the origin or looking for a good and popular name. But Adrian is really the name of someone I knew through cyberspace a long time ago. And it's real name, for the long name does not need yes. let me alone know😋

Adrian is a meaningful figure for my life. At first glance I just veiled around 2011, and that was also due to the clumsiness of a friend who I call Uda because he is West Sumatran. Many times he refused and preferred me to call him Brother and repeatedly I was encouraged to keep calling him Uda. Until he finally gave up.

One day while returning home from Friday prayers. I forgot whether it was me or him who contacted me first. In essence he said something like this.

"Sir, I went home from Friday prayers. There's a lecture. The content of the talk made me think," he said.

"What's the talk about, then,?" i asked.

"Both the woman who prays and carries out all her commands and all her prohibitions, she will still go to hell if she does not close her aurat" he said.

"Because?"

"I remember you, Dek." Whether honest or not it was like a heavy blow to me.

"Indeed, Uda, all that Islamic veiling?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"So does anyone like wearing that headscarf?"

It was like a warning to me. Suddenly my heart was pierced by Uda's words even though it didn't hurt. And I decided hijab🙂

Not because I'm afraid of hell, as Uda said. I am not afraid and I am not afraid of hell. Not like that either.

In my mind, everyone will find his direction someday in any form and from no one can guess it. It was like a personal connection with God. And maybe get my direction from here. Because Uda has never doctrinated me for religious matters. Nor does judging me rightly wrong what I do.

He just sellau said "The istiqomah ya Dek," a short message that hit.

Thanks Uda, for all the advice 🙂. Even though we lost contact for so long, but I believe God protects wherever you are. Aminn.
