Wife On Paper
Chapter 233 The Most Beautiful Award

"Doctor? What are you doing here?" Sinta turned her head to the right and left. Looking for a man he had seen talking to Ori a few minutes ago. And he looked only for a moment, the man suddenly disappeared.

"Huh? No, just breakfast. You got here so early, Sin?" Ori is shocked when he is seriously talking about something with his cousin, his eyes see Sinta who is not far from him.

"I delivered the order for the mother's cake," Sinta pointed to the owner of the coffee shop where they both are currently.

And Sinta was still confused to interpret Oryza's words. "Doctor's having breakfast here? Breakfast with coffee?" point at the girl with her discordant laughter.

"Emmm...." Oryza twisted his brain fast. Do not let him talk wrong to make the girl in front of him suspicious or even curious. "Y-yes, if it's a hurry, I like it so." The k-pop idol-like man forced his smile, then took his cousin's iced coffee which immediately blurred when Oryza pointed at Sinta earlier.

Oryza doesn't care what he's doing right now is weird. He should be drinking hot coffee, not iced coffee early in the morning like this.

"What's up, Doc?"

"Oh, yes. Accidentally meeting here," Ori replied as she rolled her eyes. He must immediately seek another discussion, so that Sinta does not ask further.

"The appearance is strange," muttered Sinta shrill.

"He is so. I prefer black over other colors. Want to go home together?"

"And I got a bike, Doc. If I'm with a doctor, who's my bike with?" tanya Sinta grimaced. But in his heart, he was hoping for that. And finally really invited home together by Doctor Ori. However, as soon as he brought the bike, it was charred his hope.

"Let's be ushered in the parking lot, easy right! Just thank you for saying thank you?" Oryza stood up, then paid for his coffee and passed by Sinta just like that. The girl stared at the departure of her idol man in disappointment.

Why pay people to bring their bikes, if they can carry their own? The dilemma! Between opportunity and sacrifice. Sinta had promised herself that she would save a lot to continue her studies.

The girl was already a lot late in her education, because poverty and her younger sisters were more priority than her. He is currently taking a learning package to catch up on his delays. And of course still helped by the orphanage.

Ori, who felt no movement from the orphanage girl he knew, stopped her steps. "Come on! So no?" Ori even stopped again outside the entrance, waiting for Sinta.

Like getting a fresh breeze. Turns out Oryza wasn't messing around with his invitation.

"But, Doc." Sinta stopped back. Concern was on his face.

"Sir, take this mbaknya motor to .. the address asks to Mbaknya." Oryza pointed at Sinta then took out a 50-something note and gave it to the parking attendant. Next he got into his car.

"Doctor Ori is like a psychic. Though I have not said it, but he immediately gave the money," said Sinta in his heart. "This, sir, the address. Thank you very much" said Sinta who then ran towards Ori's car, which was waiting for her.

"Mas.get up."

"Massa...." Adrian blinked but he was still reluctant to open his eyes wide. The man heard a familiar voice calling out to him. Someone who missed him.

"It must be just a dream," he murmured involuntarily.

"Mass ... Wake up...."

"It's just a dream, I'm just a dream," muttered the man who even made himself restless. Some wanted to open their eyes, but others refused, fearing disappointment.

"Mass ... You don't want to see me? Why pretend not to listen?" The voice sounded as usual.

Then slowly, Adrian ventured, opening his eyelids slightly. And sure enough, there was someone sitting next to him.

"Darling?" Adrian is fully awake. His eyes caught the figure he missed smilingly staring at him, in his dim sleeping lights.

"Mas why? Like seeing a ghost?" said a woman who was in front of him now.

"Emc ... Darling?" Adrian can't say anything. He immediately hugged his wife, who had been there with him for some time. Even just to ask whether he was dreaming or not, Adrian could not. Because he was afraid. Fear of losing back.

Feels same. His embrace, aroma and warmth of his body nothing changed. He longed for all of that. Did the woman really come back for him?

"Mas why? It hurt?" ara's hand held out her husband's forehead. "Warm."

"I'm all right? Don't go again!" Now it was Adrian's turn to carry the wife's body in his arms.

"Where to? We're gonna age together, aren't we? That's your promise to me." Ara plays Adrian's finger holding it. Then looked at her husband's face that was only closed in silence.

"You? Ah no. Thank you for believing in our promise, dear. I'll take care of you for the rest of my life and won't let you go again, no matter what. Won't do...." Adrian held his wet eyes. With a tightening grip on the small body that was in his arms.

His love for his wife suddenly loomed high and made his chest tight. A sense of loss and longing that becomes one.

Then ... dark.

"Bahh ... Huh... huh...." Adrian gasped when he woke up. Then he looked around. His eyes caught the hour hand right at 2 in the morning. And most painfully, there was no one beside him.

Though he had refrained from asking the figure, hoping he did not dream or if he dreamed he did not want to wake up again.

He did not even have time to ask where his wife was at this time. But he was punished if all was true.

Only dreams!

But that hug feels real. Even warm Ara's body still felt attached to her chest. His hand, which held the man's hand, was soft as usual.

Nothing has changed.

Maybe God is being kind to her right now. Bringing Ara that is real but pseudo. Pseudo but like reality. And for sure, his longing was also slightly treated because he had embraced the figure.

Adrian slams back into his body, on a bed full of complicated past memories. Before even choosing this room, the man went back and forth many times between the workspace and this room. Two rooms that the wife had occupied during her stay in this apartment. And contains all the things about that woman.

The man decided to close his eyes again. Wishing that the woman he loved would be present even though he had to dream, back.

"What's wrong with you, son?" Esther got up, when she heard a little noise in the kitchen. Because there can be no home activities there at times like today. At 2 am.

And apparently, Esther found Ara sitting on the kitchen floor holding a glass.

"Mommy?" Ara flinched in shock. He did not expect anyone to hear the noise he accidentally made.

The woman woke up from a dream. His fast-pumping heart made him limp as he ran into the kitchen earlier. Not to mention the pot filled with water that he would put on the stove instead fell. So that it makes a noise during the morning blind like this.

"I'm just a dream, Mi," said Ara while commenting on her forced smile. He tried to calm the middle-aged woman down.

Still can't believe what he dreamed. It feels so real. Just yesterday, he was crying the night before going to bed, because he missed Adrian. And now, she dreams of her husband who suddenly comes to hug her.

Everything Adrian said in his dream is still remembered.

"Your water is boiling."

"Oh, sorry Mi. I forgot to boil it." Ara smiled wryly, then got up from her seat. The woman poured hot water into her glass.

"Are you sure you're okay, son?" Esther was worried to see Ara's face that looked pale and messy. "Do you want Mami to get you some medicine? You seem to be sick."

"No, Mi. I'm doing fine. I just don't sleep." Ara was now her back to her mother. The woman hid her tears that suddenly came out wetting her cheeks.

"alright. Mommy's in the room, if you need anything." Esther said. There was a worried tone, but he did not want to interfere in the personal affairs of his adopted daughter.

Ara simply nodded, and kept her face hidden. Not daring to look at the mother who even stopped her steps for a moment, before re-entering her room.

"Coffee, Bi!" Adrian, who returned to his house a few hours later, quietly entered the kitchen.

The man saw Yulia's aunt who was busy cooking something there and put her hands on both shoulders of the butler's from behind.

"Master! You're making me surprised!" strangled aunt Yulia who was making breakfast. His face was as red as a tomato. Not ashamed but angry. If not her employer, surely aunt Yulia had berated the person from Jakarta to Bandung.

"Breakfast, yeah. You haven't tasted my cooking in a long time. What my cooking ability decreases with age, so you are reluctant to touch it" said aunt Yulia quipped. Adrian rarely eats at home. Morning, afternoon, or night.

Since the great mistress of the family was absent, making breakfast was done by Ara and aunt Yulia. Lunch and dinner are then handed over to the chef.

"Pain?"

Aunt Yulia smiled widely. "I miss being given a scathing comment by Mister. Although I know, her comments were always just that, and now no one was defending me," Aunt Yulia was like daydreaming as she said them.

Of course, what I mean is Ara. Who else would dare to defend him from the pungent subjective commentator Adrian if not his own wife.

"That's already! So don't force me, Bi," said Adrian receiving a cup of coffee from the middle-aged woman's hand.

"What'sthis? Why milk coffee?" Adrian frowned, even he forgot when the last time to enjoy the drink. Today ask for black coffee instead replaced milk coffee by the butler.

"It's still too early, sir. Your stomach can be problematic, if you continue to consume black coffee before breakfast."

"Abibi ... Why be so fussy, like... Ara." The man protested, but he finally stirred the milk coffee and tasted it.

Aunt Yulia who was about to pass away to continue her work, turned her head.

"You must take care of your health, Sir. Remember, I do not want to be blamed by the Madam later," said aunt Yulia always repeated her words. That he made a promise to the mistress before she left.

"Is your mistress coming back, Bi?"

"If the Lord wills, and the Lord does not cease to believe in His power. I am sure that all will be possible for Him, "said aunt Yulia wisely. "While we don't know when that time comes, sir," he whispered inwardly.

The middle-aged woman hoped that the madam would return soon. The master had already been sick several times. And that worries him a lot. Really, he didn't want to lose both.

"Where's breakfast? Aunt just offered?" adrian taunted because aunt Yulia had heard insistent telling him to eat breakfast. But the middle-aged woman still did not serve him without his permission.

"Soon sir!" A happy sparkle appeared in the middle-aged woman's eyes. Aunt Yulia immediately excited the four-five when she heard her employer was willing to have breakfast today.

"Please."

Aunt Yulia thrust her homemade fried rice. Although the word master is not at all similar to the mistress, but he is happy to be able to make it again.

"It looks good, Bi." Adrian started putting the spoon in his mouth. Ready for a bribe.

"Master don't comfort me. It's normal, not good it's okay, sir. What matters is that you are willing to spend it. After breakfast, I make black coffee as usual. But then once, sir. It's still noon" said aunt Yulia with a wry smile, mocking the master.

Adrian held his smile. Today the mood is good. Truly, even though he only dreamed of meeting and hugging the woman he loved, but it felt very relieving. It's like finding a water source in a hot desert.

"Our work is still a lot, Le?"

"This week is full, sir. It seems like breathing is our only happiness for now" leered Leo asserted by the employer.

Dani's still four five spirit. Of course his young soul was still fresh to swallow the file after file that was before him at this moment. What did Leo say? Breathing alone is happiness in itself. That's the silliest thing Leo said, but it's unfortunately true.

One week ahead? And today has just begun. Just imagining making him dizzy, the young man shook his head slowly.

In a busy time like this, the young man suddenly remembered the father. It turns out that Adrian is really a great father figure. In the middle of his time-consuming work and the attention and demands of him as a child. His father never even got angry or yelled at him, despite his extremely bad attitude towards the man.

Now, Dani just realized. The responsibility for family and work is huge. Especially for him and the father who is an absolute heir of many assets belonging to the family. He who is still alone feels heavy, especially the father.
