When Kalbu Tells a Story

When Kalbu Tells a Story
19. The real memories

Without me realizing I had told my mother a lot about Mahesa. The boyhood man who always helped me from the naughty children, even now he still maintains his kindness to help me.

"Mother noticed that you kept talking about Mahesa, do you like her?" my mother said in a question.

"No.. I don't like it, mom!" I said while tidying up the messy dishes.

"You're honest, if you like him."

My mother kept on harassing me, until I misbehaved myself.

"Well, now you're not scared! That's proof that you like him. "

"What the hell is mom? I'm gonna do the dishes first."

While I was doing the dishes, I kept remembering what my mother said just now. Is it possible that I am in love with Mahesa? Or is this just a friendship?.

"Kalbu, you don't have to think about it said mom, just focus on your goals." I continued washing dishes.

Since Mahesa's arrival into my world, it seems to bring back a real memory in my life. Thanks to him I can remember all the good times with my late father.

"Kalbu! I want to go to the river, if you've washed the dishes-don't forget the lock door!" my mother shouted from inside the house.

"Good, mom!" sahut me back.

After washing the dishes I returned to tidy up the messy house, from sweeping to mopping the floor that was still stucco stucco.

"Alhamdulillah, all the housework is finally done." I momentarily laid my body on the bed.

When I lay down my body, I thought of Mahesa again and again. All our meetings were unique, we were first met when I was bullied by the village children. Now that we are reunited in the same way, God always knows how to bring us together. Although there was little difference and dear, because after so many years we were not in the encounter - I did not recognize it at all when the meeting returned.

"If I had known you at that time, my heart would have no regrets. "

Crews!

The door opened, I forgot to lock the door.

"Oh my God, I forgot to lock the door! Who opened the door?" I checked, too, I was worried that she wasn't my mother but someone else.

"Assalamualaikum, Kalbu!"

I breathed a sigh of relief, it turned out that it was the mother who had just returned from the river - I also came out from my hiding place.

"Wa'alaikumsalam, mom! Who do I suppose? I'm just scared."

"Win the door lock! I told you to, didn't I?"

"Yes, mom! You forgot."

"Forgive and forget." angry mother.

"Sorry, what matters is that nothing happened to me, ma'am!"

"Tell me you have to be careful, you have prepared warm water."

"Good, mom!"

When mom needs warm water, I have to first cook the water.

🥀

"Mother, let the wound I love ointment yes!"

"No need, son!" the habit of mothers always refuse when they want to be smeared with ointment.

"Mother, never reject me." I forced him too.

"alright... Well, you always force me," he said.

I lifted my head and smiled, "I force it because I love my mother."

"yes, I understand!"

I continued to apply the ointment on the sole of the mother's feet evenly, the mother looked in pain when the wound was touched.

"Be careful and slow, son!" ringis my mother.

"Yes, mom! I slowly rubbed it, it must be very painful and painful yes, ma'am!"

"Yes, it's more painful than yesterday that I felt." she said grimacing.

"It's over soon, ma'am! Don't use water until the wound is dry. If you can not go to the river." I said.

"Start again, I'm tired of hearing that word of yours. I think if you count, maybe 100 times you say it's like that."

"So, I've been tereget with mom, never dutiful."

"There's also you, who must obey mother."

"Mother, sometimes parents have to obey their children! You talk like that for mom's sake."

"Mother, always understand your every warning! But, mother did this for you, for your life. This part of the job is halal, even though it's too tired."

"Maybe it's time for me to just give up, I won't say that anymore" I said.

Mom took my hand and said, "Daughter, when I was little, I always warned you when you made a mistake. But, once you're grown-ups you also deserve to commemorate mom, when mom makes a mistake. So, mother's question. Did you make a mistake, until you had to obey?"

"I understand, you never make a mistake. Kalbu does not mean that you should obey the words of Kalbu, Kalbu only does not have the heart to see mother. Kalbu said only for the sake of the health of the mother. "

"Mother understands, jasdah! Better get it done, "

"Good, mom!"

Our conversation stopped here, I immediately proceeded to apply the ointment on the mother's feet evenly.

...🥀...

When a child is a parent who commemorates his child, but after adulthood the child is entitled to commemorate his parents when the truth is lost in him.

The mother's legs are getting whitened and flushed, her skin is slightly open to cause the pain to occur. Mother endured so much pain all this time, it felt like I wanted to immediately see mother happy and never endure the pain again.

Taking this sand is a job that only mothers expect, because many people in this village do not like my family. So, to get a new job is minimal once can get it.

Now I can no longer sell my neighbor's cassava chips, because my mother forbade me. I can at least fight what you have decided, if I do not obey, you will stay without saying to me. I don't want that to happen, I don't want mom to stop talking to me for a second.

Because I really like mothers when they talk incessantly, mothers are a little chatty but give the truth. Although often talk a lot, but every word is able to calm the heart.
