With wisdom, the grandmother called Aminah into the living room to talk to Joseph. Aminah nodded, while trying to hide her anxiety so that Hana would not be too affected by this situation.

Grandma then turned to Hana and said, "Hana, honey, why don't we go see the beautiful plants of grandma in the side yard? Come on, we can talk about those beautiful flowers."

Joseph felt indecisive, knowing that his decision to go to work would disappoint Aminah, but he felt he had no choice. In a regretful tone, he explained the situation to Aminah and promised to return soon after settling the matter in his office.

Aminah: (in a voice full of disappointment) Joseph, what happened? We're talking seriously about our family, and now you have to go instead?

Joseph: (with regret) Sorry, Aminah. It was an emergency in the office. I can't avoid it.

Aminah: (with frustration) This is always the case, Joseph. Work is always your priority. What happened to your promise to focus more on your family?

Joseph: (in a gentle tone) I know, Aminah. But it's a completely unexpected situation. I promise to be back as soon as possible.

When she reached the living room, Hana and her grandmother looked at her with puzzled expressions. Grandma asked, "Yusuf, what happened? Aren't you going to finish the conversation with Aminah?"

Joseph, in a stammering tone, replied, "I'm so sorry, Grandma. There's an emergency situation in the office that I need to deal with immediately. I'll be back as soon as possible."

Grandma understood Joseph's decision, though Hana still looked confused. In apprehension and regret, Joseph left his grandmother's house, leaving Aminah and Hana still wounded amid unresolved feelings.

Aminah sat in the living room with teary eyes, trying to calm down the confused Hana. She hugged her son tightly while trying to comfort him.

Hana finally said in a small tone, "Mama, why do you have to leave? He's talking to us."

Aminah tried to explain softly, "Honey, Daddy has a very important job. Sometimes work can make it go away, but we have to understand it. I'll be back soon."

Hana looked at her mother with disappointed eyes, but she tried to understand. Meanwhile, in his heart, Aminah still felt hurt and upset by this situation, as he felt unable to resolve their unresolved family problems.
