Waiting for Your Love

CHAPTER 23

Nina and Arif break out of Luciana's restaurant through the darkness of the night. The weather that night was so humid and wet, Arif helped Nina put on her suit.

"Cold," said Arif as he rubbed Nina's ears at a glance. "It looks like it's going to rain."

"It seems so, anyway" replied Nina

The sound of thunder rang out from behind the hill, echoing subtly in that night. But the real storm is raging in Nina's heart. At dinner last Nina had tried to gather courage and tell me about Andhika, but something was up. Deep down, Nina wanted to continue this crazy experience.

"Wanna take a walk? Rain is still far away, I do not know you well, but I will try step by step. By the way Italian cuisine was really complete, yes" said Jo.

"Mmm, it does taste delicious," Nina sighed happily.

In Nina's hand, Nina felt Arif's fingers warm. Nina knew she was in big trouble right now.

They walk down shady trees. Along the way Nina rests her head on Arif's shoulder.

"You know, Arif," he said, pondering, "I always dreamed of being far away, so as to feel like, hmmm. A real artist, a big designer, someone with a very bright future. That's how I feel when I'm with you."

"You're great, Nina," said Arif as he wrapped his hand around Nina's shoulder. "You're not sure yet?"

The sound of thunder interrupted Nina's sentence for a moment. Nina was shocked half dead, Arif grabbed her closer.

"Lighten us to your dormitory alone," said Arif when he saw the lightning strike. "OKay?" Arif smiling.

They turned on the next road and sped up the pace as soon as lightning and thunder struck.

"Nina," said Arif, "You've seen Sudirman's situation, do you have the desire to study here."

"Oh, yeah! Sure is! It was my dream long ago" replied Nina.

"Times?" Nina held her breath.

"Hmmm .. I want to get to know you even more." Arif paused for a moment and looked into Nina's eyes. "More far."

Klay!!! The lightning returned with a dazzling white light, then heavy rain fell on them.

"Let's run!" arif shouted while pulling Nina's hand down the road to the campus.

"Ohhhhh!!!" nina screamed while laughing and running away in hassles, her wet hair stuck to her face which was also drenched. Rain water came into his shoes.

"Come on! We'll take a little shelter there!" Arif pointed at the roofed entrance, and they immediately took cover under him.

"Crazy!" Nina laughed while trying to catch her breath. "You're soaking wet, Arif. What was my face like?"

Arif pulled out the hair that covered Nina's face. "You're still beautiful" she said slowly. At the touch of Nina's shoulder, then at the pull slowly and kissed Nina gently.

Nina shakes happily, at the end of all her feelings of confusion and nervousness and returns Arif's kiss. While the rain continues to fall soaking the ground. Nina and Arif then embrace each other like people who have been separated for a long time.

"Wow," said Arif as he brushed Nina's hair and gaze as if piercing through the girl's soul. " I've been waiting for you since this afternoon." At the touch of Nina's cheek gently. "So you said you wanted to talk about something. About what, Nina?"

"Oh, it's nothing. Not too important," Nina smiled.

"Good," Arif docked while pulling Nina back, his lips touching Nina's face.

Nina drifts in Arif's arms. He forgot that he had a lover, who was faithfully waiting for his love there.
