Waiting for Your Love

CHAPTER 5

Amelia waited in the corridor of room 314, waiting for Nina's interview to be completed. He shook his feet on the carpeted floor impatiently. It was like hours of waiting for Nina to finish. He was tired of waiting for Nina, who did not come out.

But he believes that Nina's fate will be the same as his fate. Moreover, if a girl as great as Amelia could not conquer Sudirman, let alone a village girl like Nina.

But when Nina opens the door, Amelia's guess turns out to be wrong. The result of Nina's successful interview, Amelia can see it from the smile that emanated from Nina's lips.

“Amelia,” strangles Nina while hugging her cousin. “She said I could go to college in Sudirman!”, Nina continued with great excitement.

At the release of Nina's embrace, Amelia was half in disbelief. How could Nina possibly pass the interview while she herself failed miserably?

Ironically, Nina won't be able to attend Sudirman forever. The problem is that Rudianto's family is too poor to pay for college.

“Say I can get a scholarship if I really need it,” Nina keeps babbling while going down the stairs. “I'm so happy.”

Amelia's eyes narrowed. Delay.

“Hip ... hip .. hore” said dry.

All of these registrations and interviews were really boring and a hindrance to him. “When is the time? I want to contact someone,” said Amelia.

“There is still a tour first, after that we are free,” said Nina. “Now we must gather on the long bench in front of the senate building.”

“Good,” Inner Amelia. He could no longer bear to avoid Nina, and everything related to Junior Weekend and everything that smelled of High School.

Maybe Jo will take him to a romantic place in this campus. Or maybe Jo'll take her to a romantic dinner together. Amelia immediately felt elated when she thought about that. How not fun to imagine having a cool boyfriend, like Jo.

“Hallo, everyone welcome to Sudirman University.” Amelia's delusion instantly collapsed when she heard the sound of the tour guide passing the loudspeaker.

“My name is Arif Ramadhan, I will lead the tour this time, hope you guys are happy.” The tour guide identified himself.

Amelia immediately looked towards the tour guide. Pretty cool, but not as cool as Jo. Nothing could match Jo's coolness in Amelia's eyes.

“I hope your interview went well,” he said with a friendly smile and guided them into the yellow van. “Well here's your vehicle waiting.”

“We walk, pear,” joked Nina while laughing. And everyone laughed and heard Nina's words.

But not with Amelia. He thought of it as a child joke. Nina's giggling sounds flirtatious which means, I have a crush on you. The beginning of monkey love. Maybe Nina didn't mean to make such a sound, but it didn't escape Amelia's hearing.

In his eyes the tour driver was carefully. Her bright eyes gave Nina more attention. So the driver liked Nina too. Amelia smiled cynically. Andika at his house was waiting for him impatiently, which meant that Nina was playing with fire.

“Hmmm,” Inner Amelia. It seems like Nina's perfect Junior Weekend event will be ruined. Amelia was very satisfied.

Now just set the strategy as to where the weekend in Purwokerto ended successfully in the arms of Jovanto Ardianto. Without anyone to mess with her including her own cousin Nina.
