Waiting for Your Love
CHAPTER 8
Nina continued down the stairs until the front row. He felt the center of attention for walking alone. It feels like a fool.
She should have known from the beginning that Amelia liked Jo. Handsome and rich, that's Amelia's dream. He thinks it's weird that Jo's more interested in Cristin. But maybe not either.
After all, with Amelia's attitude towards him, it was better for her to sit alone. Maybe his neck will feel a bit sore because it sits in the front seat. But it's better than to endure the heartache, because Amelia's attitude will get colder to her.
He saw several empty seats in front. He approached her carefully so as not to step on people's feet.
“Excuse me, is this seat empty?” ask the girl next to him.
“In the corner there is empty,” said the girl while looking up at Nina. “If this one is for our friend but he hasn't come yet,” while patting the empty seat next to him.
Finally Nina sat in the corner seat. It feels weird watching alone without her lover Andika. Who will be hugged later if he is scared? He misses Andika's embrace, leaning on Andika's shoulder. He misses everything about Andika. Though only separated one day, it feels like a long time no see.
The lights went out, the room went dark, the late audience quickly stormed the empty seats as the film was about to begin.
“Arif here!” the blonde haired girl called out to someone who was still standing in the middle lane.
Nina quickly turned her head towards the source of the voice. Just heard her name Nina's stomach so heartburn. He's riveted. There were probably ten Arifs here, he hoped that it wasn't Arif he met this afternoon.
But he is the one. And Arif passed by several people to approach the chair next to Nina.
“You are Nina, the girl who wore the identification?” asked Arif while opening the fold of the chair. “You alone here?” ask Arif again.
“Mmm, yes,” replied Nina. Fortunately the lights had been turned off so Arif could not see the change in his face that began to redden.
“Hopefully your feet don't tingle anymore huh. But looking at the title of the film, it does not seem to be boring on the appeal tour this afternoon,” said Arif.
“Oh, earlier I really did not feel bored I like to go for a walk,” denied Nina quickly.
He felt a sneer**** appear on his face and it felt like he wanted to kick himself, away from Arif.
Why can't he behave properly in front of Arif? Why did Arif make her dizzy and insecure?
“Hey, don't close your eyes now the movie is just about to start. Save for the attacking part later!” whispered Arif.
Nina opened her eyes and she smiled at Arif. “Mmm, just practice, kok.”

(In Amelia's and Jo's place
)
“Hiii, hopefully the movie is not so scary I'm afraid,” whispered Amelia in Jo's ear while clasping Jo's hand.
“Actually I prefer classic movies. The effect is very romantic,” continued Amelia again. He tries to impress Jo with his high taste.
“But because you were with me, I was not so afraid.” He leaned spoiled on Jo's shoulder.
Once the film starts, the gripping sound of music adds to the increasingly tense atmosphere. Amelia deliberately shrieked softly in fear. That way he can freely lean on Jo's shoulder.
Then when the crazy scene in the movie turns on the blender to destroy her victim, Amelia puts her head behind Jo's arm while rubbing her muscles.
“I can't bear to see him Jo, it's really disgusting,” the screech is slow. Her voice was submerged in Jo's gentle sweater.
Jo seemed to enjoy the movie. He often shifts as if his sitting position is uncomfortable.
Amelia hopes Jo hugs her, or at least returns Amelia's hand. But apparently the busyness in the library damaged Jo's organs. Jo is too tired and can only stare straight ahead of the movie.
But at least Amelia's still got one to break up with Jo, at Sigma's party tomorrow night.
Finally Amelia clasped Jo's hand. Slow down, then go back to watching the movie.
The creepy music suddenly stopped, the lights came back on, and the screen was empty. The auditorium was filled with complaints of disappointment and dissatisfaction from the audience.
