Chapter 49: Hypocrite

After an argument with his future wife, Jeremy returns home. Along the way he was busy thinking of reasons, why lately he did not like to see Marsha near or approached by other men. He was also surprised, how can adult men seem to be trapped with feelings of anxiety like teenagers. Jeremy is still confused about his own feelings. However, there was one thing Jeremy believed in. He believes that the feeling of his sister to Marsha is not love let alone love.

“Yes, Rey couldn't possibly stab me in the back,”. “Ah .. damn!” yeremy's curse after waking up. “Why can I think like that, Rey stabbed me? It's crazy,” he continued.

Twenty minutes later, Jeremy appears to have entered the gate. He rushed to park the car and went inside. The first place he went to was a mini bar. Hoping to meet Rey but in fact the beloved sister is not there. Jeremy walked into the backyard, when he passed by the maid he asked the whereabouts of the sister.

“Mas Rey is in the pool.”

After receiving the information, Jeremy swung a step. He sees Rey sitting by the pool with her legs submerged, the young man staring at the screen of a busy cell phone looking at the photo he took at Marsha's birthday party, but when he saw the shadow approaching Rey immediately diverted to his social media account, pretending to be stalking the account selebgram capital.

“Not sleeping?” ask Jeremy.

Rey turned her head and looked in surprise, she asked her sister back, “Indeed I'm a baby at this hour already sleeping.”

Jeremy chuckled, he who was already sitting next to Rey hit the arm of his fat brother. They laughed but then fell silent, as if they could guess the contents of each other's minds.

Jeremy was curious why Rey gave an expensive gift to Marsha, while Rey felt bad because she had not told Jeremy to buy a pretty fancy gift to his future sister-in-law.

“Marsha was showing off, she said you gave her an expensive gift.” Jeremy finally chose to convey what he was thinking. Making everything clear is the goal. He wants to see if Rey puts a taste into Marsha.

Rey smiled and nodded, not expecting the girl to show off the gift she gave. “She's my sister-in-law's candidate, especially she's kind and entertaining, of course I have to give her a decent gift.”

“Attractive? Indeed what does he do until you feel amused?” looking at Jeremy, he even nudged Rey's leg in the water.

Jeremy thins his lips, he feels Rey thinks Marsha is sweet even though the girl is like a demon. In his heart Jeremy sneered his future wife's words to his sister.

“She even asked me to think of Richard and Aunt Kimi as real parents, she even asked me to call her parents papi and mami like you do.”

Jeremy's forehead is wrinkled, he doesn't like this one. There was a feeling of envy that suddenly appeared in the heart. He thinks Marsha shouldn't have asked Rey to do that, papi and mami's calls feel very special to him.

“Yes just call them mami and papi.”

Although feeling a little unacceptable, but the ones that slide from Jeremy's lips even approval for Rey.

In the mind of the twenty-two-year-old young man, the brother did not mind if he called the parents of his future sister-in-law as papi and mami. Jeremy is back on edge, he feels like a hypocrite where the heart and the mouth are different.

His hypocrisy is tested when Rey's phone rings. Marsha's name was plastered on her screen and made Jeremy stare in disbelief.

Rey also smiled, he lifted the page in front of Jeremy because he felt there was no lie between him and his brother.

Marsha said from across the call,“Kak Rey, tomorrow my lecture is canceled, there is only a task and collected the next day, so I can accompany brother.”

“Incompanion? Where?” jeremy asks to hear that his sister and Marsha have a plan.
