Chapter 155: Managing a Farewell

Since pitting fate into the city and finally getting a job as Jeremy's secretary, Peter lives in an apartment not far from the company. He was used to living a neat and orderly life. After going home he would exercise for approximately thirty minutes, drink energy milk instead of dinner, then take a bath and sleep.

However, things have been different the past two days, Peter's order and neatness seems to be disturbed by Zie. The girl kept calling him.

From starting to ask what he is doing, to whether he already has a lover or not.

Peter had wanted to block Zie's number, but he felt awkward. After all the girl was a good friend of his superior wife, there was a sense of unease to refuse Zie's well-intentioned acquaintance.

Considering his flat and colourless life, Peter finally accepts Zie's invitation out for a walk. That night they met at a cafe not far from Peter's apartment.

“You've your parents' permission ‘right? They know where you went and met who?”

“Let's just calm Pet, I can't go without saying to papa and mama.” Zie refuted the cheek, he looked at Peter's slightly different appearance.

“What? why look at me like that? is something wrong?”

Peter scanned his clothes and pants. He did not want to think Zie was fascinated.

Unfortunately for Peter, he did not expect to be misbehaved by a girl who was much younger.

“Secret looks handsome with casual sweatshirt.”

“Thank you for giving me a compliment, because you make me happy so I will treat you to a meal, ” Peter said. He raised his hand with an unmoved look from Zie.

A waitress approached, handing the menu book over to Zie and Peter. However, unexpectedly, when he turned his head and was about to order Zie was made shocked because the waiter was none other than Andro.

“Ndro, instead of you – “

Zie winked in confusion, after he Andro did not work in this cafe but another cafe. Peter turned his head and looked at Marsha's ex-boyfriend. Not even his surprise was gone, Andro even said-

“Ke here?”

Not even Andro nodded his head, the girl he mentioned earlier actually walked into the cafe. Zie who was shocked to throw the menu book and hide under the table. The light of his behavior made Peter and Andro astonished. Peter even lowered his body to look at Zie who was now crouching while covering the side of his face with a bag.

“Why are you hiding?”

Zie was actually embarrassed, he had said that he did not seriously ask for Peter's number to Marsha, but ultimately went alone with the man.

“There's Marsha, I don't want to be caught him.”

Too late, Marsha had already shifted the chair and crouched behind him. The girl even tapped on Zie's shoulder twice while calling out the friend's name.

“Zie, has your money fallen? Why are you crouching under the table?"

Zie clenched his lips tightly, condemning stupidity instead of running away but instead hiding under the table.

Meanwhile, Jeremy stands near Peter's chair while watching Andro. The man patted his wife's ex-boyfriend's arm and asked him for news.

“Healthy Ndro? What is the special menu in this cafe?”

Jeremy picked up Peter's menu book, he frowned as if he was focusing on choosing food, until Marsha and Zie stood up. Zie seemed embarrassed and awkward about the situation.

“Oh ... there's Zie, what's Zie doing downstairs? Is playing hide and seek same Peter?”

Zie pursed his lips, he threw out his butt in the chair and grabbed the menu book. “Then what did Brother Je come here for? want to take care of your sister's wife's farewell with her boyfriend?”
