Chapter 168: The Condition of Marsha

Jeremy took Marsha to the hospital after receiving confirmation of registration. Once there, they headed straight to the executive clinic for an examination.

“All will be well,” said Jeremy because he saw Marsha was a bit anxious. He tried to calm down so that his wife would not be afraid.

Marsha was immediately examined, nurses helped check blood pressure before doctors checked for other conditions.

“His blood pressure is quite high,” said the doctor when the nurse finished checking Marsha's blood pressure.

The doctor then examined the overall condition of Marsha's body, including the fetus in the womb.

“The fetal condition is good, it's just that the blood pressure is too high. To avoid things that are not desirable, I recommend that you do some tests to be sure. And Mother can stay for a while for further observation,” said the doctor explained.

Jeremy immediately turned to Marsha who was still lying in bed, clearly visible strokes of anxiety on the man's face.

Kimi also chose to see an obstetrician who handles Marsha to determine the condition of her daughter, before meeting Marsha in the hospital room.

“Is there a problem with Marsha content?” kimi asked when she met with the obstetrician.

“I can't be sure yet, Doc. Just in case of something unwanted, I have asked for a thorough test. Worst chance of your daughter's condition, she has preeclampsia.”

Kimi was very surprised to hear the doctor's explanation, although it was only an estimate, but it was enough to make Kimi anxious and panicked. Even his hands and feet were trembling.

“Can you contact the laboratory and request Marsha examination results as soon as possible?” ask Kimi who is panicking.

“Doctor Kim, you don't panic too much, this is just my estimate and it's not necessarily true. I'll try my best to monitor and care for your daughter,” the doctor said to appease Kimi.

In the room, Jeremy and Marsha were joking. They were watching a funny video on Marsha's phone, even the sound of Marsha's crisp laughter seeing the video.

Since seeing Marsha is fine, it seems that I can return to work quietly,” Kimi replied at length. He hasn't been honest with Jeremy and Marsha about Marsha's possible urine test results. He just didn't want to make the two of them even more anxious.

Jeremy did not ask much when Kimi left and said if he had to go back to work.
