Two Rings of the CEO
The Story of the Past Part-2

For a moment the middle-aged woman who had reached the age of five heads stopped the story of the past that he tried to reopen to one of his daughters-in-law. If judging from Zara's personality as it is and matures, Mirah believes if the girl is able to accept the past of the husband and will still love him until death separates.

The glare of the netra sayu is now fixed on the family picture frame, where the husband and two daughters are smiling happily.

"Zara, did you see" said Mirah asking the little girl sitting by her side to look back at a photo on the wall. "Didn't our family look happy and perfect?" Shifting his eyes, putting on a facial expression pleading with the son-in-law to be willing to agree on his speech.

The spontaneous round-necked girl was snuggling strongly. Trying not to disappoint my mother. But that's how it is, her husband's family looks so happy and perfect.

Mirah smiled faintly, which then turned sad. The face that had looked bright, now clouded instantly.

"But that was before the almighty gave the toughest trials to our family?" mirah said with a glazed netra.

"I mean Mom?" Zara pretended not to know anything, even though she had heard from Bi Surti if her husband and daughter-in-law had died.

"Arina, my daughter or your sister-in-law died three years ago. Followed by my husband, or your father-in-law a few months later." Wailing began to sound from the lips of the middle-aged woman who looked tough.

Zara who could feel that deep sadness could only gently wipe Mirah's back. "What really happened, Mom?" I want to know Zara is unstoppable. Actually, what is the story of the past of the husband's family that has happened several years ago. Is there a great tragedy that could destroy this happy family?

Mirah breathed deeply. Trying hard and wiping away the remains of the clear fur that soaked his face.

"When I look at you, it's like seeing my daughter come back to life. Your innocence, speech, and sweet face remind all of Arina."

Mirah stared at the frame of the family photo, where the princess's cheerful face was clearly drawn. "She's a very obedient, spoiled girl, but also smart. After Arka, he became our greatest pride and hope. Everything Arin wants, as much as we can fulfill. Unknowingly, all that backfired for us because it was too indulgent."

Mirah stared for a moment at the little girl beside her. The girl looks enthusiastic to hear the outpouring of hearts that not just anyone can reveal.

"Then" asked Zara later.

"We did spoil him, but we also very limited him to get out of the house and hang out with just anyone including his peers. Arin was free to get an education at an international school and without home schooling method. Hopefully, he is not too bored and has friends in the school environment. Unbeknownst to him, however, Arin abused the little bit of freedom we gave him. Arin who is honest and innocent, the smarter it is to lie and act." Mirah seemed to overflow all her disappointments and regrets.

"At what age did Arina die?"

While sighing deeply and still hiccupping, Mirah continued the story that had been interrupted.

"Eighteen years, just like your age, Zara. He gets smarter at stealing time and sneaks in from the bodyguards for various reasons just to meet a guy he likes. I realized my daughter had grown up, and was beginning to have an interest in her opposite sex. But I firmly refused her wish and did not allow her to have a relationship with any man before she graduated college. Because of what, because we also have great hopes for him to be able to inherit his father's business like his brother."

Demands, and great responsibility. Maybe that is a burden for girls who still want freedom like Arina who began to grow up. That's what Zara thought. Unlike him who only comes from a family of farmers. Free to walk wherever you want as long as you do not violate the rules.

"Arin, that innocent and very obedient girl has now changed drastically. Being dissident and unruly. Me and your late father were overwhelmed. So did the bodyguards assigned to guard it. They are confused and often find Arina escapes from care and runs away somewhere. Arka who takes care of his father's business outside the island was not able to keep his brother in the middle of the task that his father had given him. On the night after graduation, Arina escapes with the man and stays at a hotel. Until something completely unwanted happens." Hot chunks of tin seemed to flush the face of Mirah. "My daughter is pregnant, I feel like I'm failing at being a mother." Crying sobbing, Mirah hugged and spilled her clear circles on Zara's shoulders. Such a heart-wrenching cry. The little girl was powerless and carried away. Until both of them embrace with a roar of sound in a soundproof room that can not be heard by anyone except two people who are hugging fully.

"Did the man who had impregnated Arina know everything and be willing to take responsibility?"

Mirah was silent for a moment, trying to recall the events at that time.

"At first we just kept quiet, and waited for the boy to apologize to us and take responsibility for his conversation. Honestly, when I found out that Arina was pregnant, I really hated the man who had disfigured my daughter." The hatred was still clearly imprinted from Mirah's tone.

"Zara knows Mom, but---

"Zara, a real man will never ruin the girl he loves. Moreover, the heart impregnates him outside the bond of marriage. So, I don't believe that the boy really loves my daughter."

Glutton..

Zara swallowed her rough saliva.

What because of that too, until this moment Mr. Arka has never channeled his passion to me. Because he didn't want to ruin me, before I was completely sure of this marriage.

"But our desire was not as expected, the child and his entire family moved to another city after a few hours we told Arina of pregnancy. Until my daughter was frustrated and struck by the overwhelming fear that she was hard to accept with common sense. We tried hard and accepted everything that happened with sincerity, hoping to reduce the burden on my daughter's shoulders. But another trial came back. The guilt, the fear, the more I feel in my daughter. He ran in no direction, until something I didn't want to happen again."

Zara was able to guess the next remark of Mirah.

"My daughter died, we found her body in a lifeless state. It was the great shock in our family that made my husband, Surya Atmadja, feel the greatest impact. If I try to be sincere, firm, and let go of everything. My husband just slumped and made the disease he suffered worse. Up to five months later against all the pain and all the suffering, my husband died and it became the biggest shock able to crush my stubbornness."

Mirah was crying, but she smiled.

"And in recent years, Mother began to rearrange the life that had been ravaged. Even so, for years he tried to strengthen me as my firstborn and only son. Although he honestly felt the same way as me, but he tried to still look strong. Being a child as well as the successor figure of his father in the family Surya Atmadja."

Mirah's face looks relieved after telling her past events. Like lightening a little load on his shoulders.

"Arka's decision to marry Anastasya was honestly not to surprise me." A faint smile appeared on Mirah's lipstick-polished lips.

Zara simply knitted her brows and narrowed her net. The girl looks confused.

"The color when finding Anastasya, the condition is not much different from Arina. Pregnant and desperate. That's why Arka married Anastasya. Because of such great regret for her sister, to help and marry the girl who has the same fate as Arina, she hopes to reduce a little guilt for her sister."

Mirah rubbed Zara's white cheeks gently. Maybe like this, the little girl can change her prejudice, if Arka has not really loved her and married her on the basis of force.
