As the pair of clear eyeballs began to blink, the first thing he saw was the white ceiling of the room and the pain emanating from the back of his arms.
Where am I.
Facing his hand with a heavy head with a feeling of dizziness, Amastasya gaped in disbelief as a hose of intravenous needles drained clear liquid into his body.
What, Infusion? Am I in hospital?
The girl tried to recall the incident some time ago, which could have brought her all the way to this place. Simultaneously, the door of the room opened and featured a sturdy person emerging from behind him.
Mr Ken?
Anastasya closed the moment the neutrality felt hot. Why exactly he fainted at the wrong time to have to trouble someone who is not a neighbor or his family.
"You're sober?" The baritone voice greeted Anastasya's sense of hearing. "Is your head still dizzy?" ask the man again.
Anastasya shook his head quickly. As strong as moving energy to be able to rise, but his efforts failed because the condition of his body is still very tired.
"Lay down, your body is still weak. If forced, you can pass out again." Ken swiftly restrained Anastasya's limp body and laid the girl's body back down.
"Sorry to trouble you, sir." There was a trace of regret from Anastasya's words. Right now he was really troubling Ken.
"No problem. I was worried, if I hadn't been there by the time you passed out. Who's gonna get you, 'cause it looks like you're living alone in that house." Ken had shouted and tried to kill anyone who was in the house, but there was no one. Can't be concluded if Anastasya lives alone.
"Did you live alone all this time?" Kenan had positioned his body to sit in front of Anastasya who was lying on the treatment bed, then looked at the girl's sad face fixed.
"Yes" Anastasya replied, nodding slowly.
It sounded if the man let out a deep breath.
"Isn't that very dangerous, you're a woman even more."
"I live alone in the city, sir. In this world I only have aunts and uncles in the village as a family that still remains."
There are still many question marks that reside in Ken's mind about Anastasya, but given the condition of the girl who is still weak, Jenan also fades curiosity and saves it to be asked again later.
"You must be hungry? What if you eat first, yes at least can increase your energy." Ken grabbed a plastic bag and pulled out a box of food containing porridge that he had bought at the time Anastasya was still unconscious.
"Can you wake up?"
Honestly Anastasya did not want to eat, drink or anything, but if it continues like this, then the word healed will be more and more away and the person who is most bothered here is none other than Ken. And Anastasya did not want it.
The girl immediately nodded, and tried to get up, of course, with the help of Ken. His back and head rest on the head of the bed, in order to find the most comfortable position.
The chicken porridge package was already open, and Ken began to scoop it up and put it on Anastasya's lips.
"Sorry sir. I can do it myself," subtly reject the girl.
"But--" The porridge box has now changed hands.
Ken looked at the two hands of the girl before him who still looked trembling. Especially with the infusion hose that shackles his movement.
Anastasya worked hard to move his hand to scoop and feed a spoonful of his gruel, but due to his weak body, making a spoon containing porridge that according to the girl had been tightly gripped it almost fell if Ken did not swiftly seize it.
Anastasya just kept quiet and chose tsk to answer. But it opened its mouth as Ken began to feed it.
For a moment both of them were silent with their respective minds. But after a few minutes passed, then the awkward feeling was created. Ken may try to look ordinary, although in his heart he does not deny being able to do things this close to the figure of a girl who is nobody to him.
On the other hand Anastasya made again uncomfortable. If you look at it at a glance, maybe Ken looks indifferent and stupid. But the more here, why the warm side of the man ity actually more visible.
"Have, enough." Anastasya refused as Ken fed the porridge back. "I'm full" he continued.
"Are you sure?" Ken looks doubtful.
"really. I'm full now."
"All right." Ken put the rest of the porridge on the table. "Do you want to lie down again?"
Feeling that her body was still weak and needed rest, Anastasya nodded her head.
Ken reviewed the gentle smile and helped the girl to lie down again. Anastasya could feel how soft Ken's touch was to make him comfortable without causing pain.
"rest. I'll be out for a minute." Ken had left a smile before the man's body left and disappeared behind the door.
Anastasya who saw and felt it all was unable to stem the clear circle that was urgent to get out of the corner of his net. His mind raged, between fear and worry. What if the man leaves her in this condition. But isn't that what should have happened, there's no way Ken would be willing to wait for her in this place, and also to take care of a foreign girl like her.
Anastasya could only resign. Sleep will probably make it better and slightly reduce the burden on his life.
Together with the drowsiness that struck, the girl tried to close the netra even though she had difficulty. After a few minutes of pretending to be asleep, apparently the girl was able to really fall asleep. Until the arrival of a nurse with a man who came to the room, he was not aware.
*****
"What time is this?" anastasya muttered with a slow stretch of his muscles. Apparently after sleeping makes his body more comfortable and his dizziness was slowly disappearing.
He also shifted his eyes to find the presence of a wall clock as a time indicator. Not yet had time to find something to look for, he actually found a man who fell asleep on the sofa without using a pillow or blanket though.
Mr Ken?
The girl nodded in disbelief. Even had time to widen the net to be more sure. But still, the man was still Kenan waiting for him to fall asleep.
I really can't believe this. But he really is Mr. Ken. Then why didn't he come home and wait for me here?
It's unbelievable. How could the man just stay in this place and choose not to go home.
But quickly Anastasya realized and was reluctant too early to conclude things. It could be that the man was exhausted and fell asleep on the sofa when he wanted to decide to go home.
Sighs deeply. Anastasya now chooses to close the net again. Wanting to wake up even the sleeping Ken felt impossible. Let the man fall asleep and wake up by himself.
