Iris walked into the classroom with a pale face and looked lethargic, with a shunt she walked onto her stool. Class was already crowded at that time, because soon the break time would be over.
Reski was already sitting sweetly on his stool, as Iris sat down beside him, as did Melinda who sat on the front bench of Iris and Reski. Focusing on her textbook, Iris sat down and laid her head on the table trying to calm her head and mind.
At this time the class was crowded, some were busy with his book, some were joking and chatting, some were cool running around, but none of them caught the attention of Iris. Iris felt like she was in a different world to them.
His eyes were half closed. His head was filled with the voices of people who only faintly sounded. His whole body felt tired and powerless.
The sound from the classroom started to feel increasingly faint for Iris as someone approached her and touched her shoulder. Iris opened her eyes and tried to see who woke her up.
Laya was standing right next to Iris's desk. Iris woke up from the fall. Laya handed him a large and thick book that read About the Olympics.
“Gua thought you might need.” He said short
The class children were still focused on each other at that time.they were still busy joking, chatting and playing. Although among them there was someone who had been paying attention to Iris since Iris entered the classroom. Yuli, has been watching Iris ever since she entered the classroom.
From where Iris sat, she could see how Yuli was watching her. He also saw how Yuli immediately whispered with Nila, and somehow it disturbed him.
Although not much to say or comment, Iris knew most of her classmates also gossiped. Moreover, Yuli, she had heard firsthand how Yuli talked about herself with Nila when she wanted to enter class.
Iris did not want to be bad, but her entire body that was tired seemed to wake up and warned her to be vigilant, that there was danger approaching her. He looked at Laya who was standing in front of him, with a slightly angry look.
Iris knows she shouldn't be mad at Laya, but she can't seem to control herself.
Laya who noticed the radiance of anger from Iris eyes seemed to freeze on the spot. He was not even able to make a sound just asking what was wrong and was only able to look at Iris with confusion clearly emanating on her face.
Iris picked up Laya's book and handed it back to Laya. He held up the thick book with only one hand, while Laya received it with both hands.
“No need, cave focus to PWC so no need book collection about.” Said firmly.
Laya still seems confused, even though she understands that Iris did not need the book. He turned and walked back to his seat.
When he reached his seat Nila and Yuli immediately approached Laya.
“Yes, do you really not participate in the social olympuade?” yuli asked Laya enthusiastically.
“Iya bener.” Answer Laya relax.
“Why?” this time Nila asked.
“Gak kepengen aja, have cape also.” Laya replied again still casually.
“Seriusan Yes, you have won twice, if you come again more likely to win again right, dear really why not come.” Said Yuli trying to pry further the reason for Laya.
“Gua is not pengen, and cape too. Let's let the 11th grade child who takes care of the race.” Laya replied this time starting to feel uncomfortable.
“Oh lo worry same grade 11 toh.” Said Yuli trying to draw a conclusion as good as her heart.
Iris heard clearly their conversation because Laya's chair was only two seats away from her.
Yuli glanced at Iris who was back at her collapsed position on the table.
“Ris you really want to join the social olympics? Do you think of 11th grade kids, you're not kasian with 11th grade kids? Laya who has won twice just back. Lo time want to maxain forward.” Yuli said loudly.
Yuli was still standing beside Laya's bench. The class became quiet. The children who had been busy with themselves each immediately turned to pay attention to Iris and Yuli.
Iris got up from the fall and looked at Yuli who had been staring at her.
“Can't you?” tanyanya calm. His heart and head were rumbling, but he tried to look as calm as possible. He cannot show his weakness in front of a crowd.
“Why does the cave mention the opportunity of others? Cave joins the PWC and it's not a team race, so there's no place anyone cave grabs.” Obviously Iris, still trying to calm down.
“Yes but still not good to see. Yes who have won back twice, kok lo even maksa.” Yuli said again getting closer to Iris.
The other children were hypnotized to hear this talk. All eyes were watching Yuli and Iris. Yuli is also a smart child, she often ranked in the top 10.
He also participated in the social olympic selection during the 11th grade but failed. He had also wanted to participate in the social olympic selection this year but quit out of fear of failure.
Therefore seeing Iris still trying to follow the Olympics made him angry. He was angry at the courage of his iris and fear, but he did not want to admit it. So he tried to prove that Iris was selfish and not his weak self.
“Do not rumor about you who deliberately mengedeketin Laya so that he does not participate in the Olympics itru bener.” Yuli said with a slight smile as if mocking Iris.
Iris had already reached the threshold of her patience. His anger peaked to the crown. He no doubt tried to look calm after hearing what Yuli said. He stood up and pressed the table, shaking everyone in the class. The atmosphere became increasingly tense. Yuli held on to her position without exuding the slightest fear and Iris walked over to her.
Reski who was beside Iris also stood up and was about to grab Iris' hand, but Melinda asked her. Melinda shook her head at Reski as if to let Iris take care of this.
Iris can't do anything dangerous. Laya, Fajar and Anwar also stood on their respective benches as if preparing for the worst possible.
The air in the classroom seemed to freeze, time seemed to not run, and the children of class XII IPS 1 only focused on Iris who walked closer to Yuli. They were all looking forward to Iris' next move.
Iris was getting closer towards Yuli. They are now only one step away. All who watched gulped were curious as to what would happen next.
One step....
Iris arrived right in front of Yuli, but her steps did not stop. He kept on going and stood right in front of Laya.
“Did the cave ever ask you to ga join the Olympics?” ask him to Laya.
“No! Never at all!” Answer Laya directly without needing to think again. “The reason for the ga ga go to the Olympics is not at all related to lo.” Strictly again.
After hearing Laya's reply, Iris immediately turned to look at Yuli.
“Dengers! You all cry with your own mouth, right.” Said trying
told the whole class maybe even the whole world. Then it was
approaching Yuli.
“Because you yourself have heard so from now on stop associating anything that happens with Laya the same cave. Whatever Laya did there is no connection with the cave.” Said firmly.
Yuli was glued to her place. After trying to flinch and trying to look strong, a radiance of fear was visible from his eyes.
Iris tried to get closer and whisper something to Yuli.
“Gua know if you spread rumors about the cave and Laya. Stop whatever you do now. The cave does not care and does not want to know what your purpose and purpose is. But if until the cave denger strange rumors again, the cave will not stay silent.” Whisper Iris in Yuli's ear
Iris retreated and tried to return to her place, leaving Yuli who looked pale.
The class was silent for a few seconds. The pale Yuli stared in her place. Nila who saw that, directly touched Yuli's hand and invited her back to their seats.
Iris turned her head back on the table and closed her eyes tightly. Yuli returned to her stool and sat down without saying anything more. Laya, Fajar and Anwar who had been standing also sat back down.
The children returned to their activities as if they had agreed to let what had just happened. Although most were very curious and wanted to talk about what was happening, seeing their two friends corner each other was already quite exhausting for them.
They certainly don't want this to happen again. So they went back to their activities, as if nothing had happened.
