Laya and Iris are two excellent students from Putra Bangsa High School, both always occupy the first and second positions of all students of one class. The two followed each other, sometimes both occupy the first position because of the similarity of the score. Both always participate in various Olympic, regional and national competitions.

Iris is a smart kid. He actively asks and answers in learning activities in the classroom. He also actively participated in extracurricular activities such as Mading. Iris is more focused on activities that improve her writing skills. Laya is not much different from Iris. He is active in and outside the classroom. When class 11 Laya served as vice chairman of OSIS, at that time he also actively participated in extracurricular activities such as archery and PMR. Even until now when it has occupied the 12th grade, Iris and Laya are still actively participating in various activities outside of academic activities.

Iris and Laya did a lot of competition and Olympics, but somehow they were never on the same team. Some teachers think that if they are separated the chance of winning will be greater, not infrequently they end up facing each other in the final of the race they participated in. Therefore, it is as if there is an unwritten rule that they should be on separate teams. Iris and Laya also never classed in the 10th and 11th grades, in the 12th grade they finally met in the same class.

Iris and Laya were almost never seen together, they were never seen fighting but were also not friends. In addition, despite being equally intelligent, Iris and Laya have much different personalities. Iris is a reclusive child, she is involved in many organizational and academic activities but only to that extent. He also does not have close friends, at rest he prefers to eat alone, he also spends more time in the library or room mading. He is often seen with Melinda in the library, or with Reski in the morgue, but if Melinda and Reski are asked if they are best friends they are confused as to how to answer.

Unlike Iris, Laya is a social butterfly, she is sociable and always the center of attention. He is popular and also has a lot of acquaintances among the younger siblings and upperclassmen, he even knows the staff and school employees. No one at school knew him. He has good friends Agata, Anwar and Dawn, the four of them are good friends since the school orientation period (MOS). Agata is not very prominent on the academic side but he is very adept at playing futsal. Dawn and Anwar are both excellent students who always enter the top ten. Dawn is active at OSIS while Anwar only focuses on his academic achievements.

Rivalry Laya and Iris was never a problem in school, so long as they competed in a healthy way. There is never a big disagreement between the two, as the two tend to run in different directions and in their respective paths. To this day, August 8, 2012, the first dispute between them occurred. For the first time in history Putra Bangsa Laya and Iris High School are in the same group. Mr. Ibrahim their sociology teacher put Iris and Laya into the same group for their sociology assignment. No one thought this was a problem, the students of class XII IPS 1 took the despair of Mr. Ibrahim for granted. At school, their group was determining the theme to be raised in their research. That's where Iris and Laya's dispute begins.

“We must focus on finding references first, before going down to the field.” said Iris

“The reference is good, but we must first know what problems we want to discuss, and we can find problems if we have seen the situation on a rich field how.” Reply Laya.

“Do not have to jump into the field just to find out the problems that exist, we can monitor from the news in the media, and according to the problems we want to discuss with the references we have. That will make it easier for us to research later because we have data and references.”

“But the closer we are to the field the more real the problem we will discuss, references can be searched later, we just adjust the same problem we want to discuss. It's not a difficult thing.” Say Laya firmly.
