TWELVE DAYS OF LOVE

TWELVE DAYS OF LOVE
Baby Matchmaker Scan Is ....

Fifth day in the village.

This morning in the kitchen, I sat at the dinner table enjoying fried bananas and warm tea.

My sisters are going to school. Mamak and father are ready with their proper clothes to go to the house of Mak Jenab, where will be the wedding of Murni, Mono's sister.

They chose to attend the wedding, while I will attend the reception tonight.

"Hello, how's Mi? Whahuh? Geez, did you eat?" From the direction of the middle room the mamak appeared to the kitchen while holding a mobile phone directed at his ear.

Mamak seemed to be listening to the answer of his interlocutor. Before long, he said back to him, "But your husband to the show right? Good though. I'll tell Jenab about your situation. You rest. Oh yes, I'll have Fadil there bring guava leaves."

Hearing my name being called of course moved my head turned to Mamak. Until finally Mamak's phone chat ended and he approached me.

"Dil, can you pick up a bag of guava leaves behind the house, then bring it to the house of Mak Rahmi, Cindai's mother."

"Oh, did you call Cindai's mom, Mom? What's wrong with him?" my many.

"Every night he ate spicy rujak, he said since morning he kept urinating. Kasian himself at home, Cindai teaches and Pak Agus will go to the event. You keep her company until someone comes home."

Of course I won't refuse this Mamak order. When else is there a chance to look face to face in front of prospective in-laws. Is it only mercy that can?

Anyway ... ah I remembered the promise to Cindai, finding out about the match. As the saying goes, once rowing two three islands exceeded.

"Ready, Mom!" I rushed to get a plastic bag and headed to the back of the house. Plucking strands of young guava leaves.

Mommy and dad are going to be on motorcycles, so I'm just going to walk to Cindai's house.

The green house looks so quiet. I was on the porch of Cindai's house.

"Assalamualaikum, Ma'am ... Mother ..." I said as I knocked on the door.

"Getishalight." Cindai's mother opened the door. "Fadil, it's fast here."

"Yes, Mom. When Mamak said that Mom was sick, Fadil immediately rushed to pick guava leaves and came here. This is Ma'am's palm leaf" I said, handing over the plastic bag I was carrying.

"Thank you, son. Then are you going straight home?" ask Ms. Cindai.

"Mamak gave the mandate to Fadil to accompany Mother until Cindai or Father came home" I replied.

"Well, Ama always has. Too worried about me. All right, come on in. We go straight to the kitchen, I want to make this guava leaf drink."

I followed Ms. Scan's steps towards the kitchen. Once there, the middle-aged woman began picking guava leaves to wash.

"Let Fadil do it, ma'am. You sit there, your face looks pale." I grabbed her arm and led her to sit on the dining chair.

"Ah .. Can you?" tanyakanya.

"certain. This recipe for diarrhea cure is definitely kuhapal. Mamak always gave us this guava leaf decoction water every time we had diarrhea."

Cindai's mother smiled. I went back to the kitchen table, lit the stove and cooked water in a small pot. The guava leaves are picked per strand and washed.

Soon enough the boiled water and guava were ready. I purposely added a little palm sugar that I found in the kitchen to make it taste a little sweet.

"Mom, drink this" I said as I handed him the cup.

He greeted her and immediately gulped her down to the toilet.

"Hmm .. delicious times the taste. Why is it different when you make it?" muttered.

"That's because Fadil made it lovingly" I said.

"Huh? You love Mom?"

"He is, just as Fadil loves Mamak."

Mak Rahmi smiled knot.

Now I have taken my seat in front of him. Looks like this is the opportunity to explore again the information about Cindai's soul mate. Actually, I don't care about that indistinct figure, but since this is Cindai's wish, then I have to do it.

"Bu .. Tell Fadil about Mom's teenage years, about Mom's friends. Who is your closest friend?" I started a test.

"Huh? Why do you want to know about that?"

"Fadil loves to hear nostalgic stories" my alibi.

"Oh that? All right, I'll tell you."

Mak Rahmi paused for a moment, her eyes were pushy, like she was glaring.

He continued, "When the teen mother had many friends. We always play together, practice cooking together and learn school lessons together. But of all, there was one person who was very close to Mom. She's my real friend."

"Who is he, Mom?" ask slowly.

"She was a kind woman, always helping and accompanying Mom in her joys and sorrows. We always spend time together. Maybe we were destined to be friends because our names were so similar."

Cindai's mother did not mention her name directly, but she only gave an image and a hint. I had to think, find out who his best friend was. Didn't he match up Cindai with the son of his best friend. But, was his best friend that he meant this time was the same person?

"Hmm ... apparently because of such close friendship that Mother betrothed each other?" gurauku.

"He-he-he, it could be so."

Huffhhc .....

It turns out the same guy!

Waitaminute! I suddenly remembered Mamak's words earlier, 'take this to Mak Rahmi's house, Cindai's mother'. His name is Rahmi.

His best friend had a name similar to him. Rahma ... Rachmi ....

Ahh ... A rahma?

Is his friend named Rahma? Oh no! Isn't Rahma a .. mamak's name!

My brain thinks again. When is it true that the friend in question is Mamak, meaning the son referred to by Ms. Cindai is. Gluey!

I tried to remember again to gather more assumptions. From the story of Cindai's mother earlier, when Cindai was newborn, the boy was three years old.

And ... My age with Cindai is three years.

But ... is it true that mom and Cindai's mom are friends that close? All I know is that you are close to everyone in this village, especially mothers.

"Son, Mom seems to want to lie down. Continue the story later." Cindai's mother's words spread my seagrass.

"Oh yes, Mom. Let Fadil lead you to Mom's room" I said.

I immediately grabbed her arm and led her into the room. Make sure he lies down to rest.

"Fadil will be waiting in the living room. If you need anything, just call Fadil" I said.

He nodded and then began to close his eyes. I also walked to the middle room.

In the middle room there are many photos, attracting netraku to observe them one by one, ranging from those displayed on the sideboard or hung on the wall. The childhood photos of Cindai instantly made me smile to myself. Luckily he wasn't around, so I was free to smile. If not, he would be angry and punish me because I promised not to kidnap his childhood again, a time when he was still geeky.

My view turned to the photos of her teenage years. Since she was a teenager, she has started to look so sweet. At that time he would not have lived in this village.

And Cindai's adult photos now keep me glued. Really, this girl is very attractive. If he had stayed in the city, there would probably have been many men who had approached him.

I spent about an hour looking at the photos of Cindai without any boredom. Until a greeting is heard from outside the house accompanied by a knock on the door.

I walked open the living room door.

"Mamaq? Who is here?" ask me after opening the door.

"Mamak ride the ojek. How is Mak Rahmi, Dil?," said mamak while entering the living room.

"He's sleeping, Mak."

Mamak also walked to Cindai's mother's room. A well-fortified structure in his hand.

When the mother entered the room, apparently Cindai's mother was awake. I followed behind my mom.

"How are you doing, Mi?" ask mamak.

"Alhamdulillah, Ma, this is silent. Fadil's guava leaf water is truly efficacious" Cindai's mother replied as she glanced at me.

"Thank God, Mi. Uh, come on, eat first. Look at this from Jenab. Last time I had a contract, I immediately said goodbye to come here, then Jenab told me to bring you party food. Dul and Agus are still there," Mamak said, saying that Cindai's father and father were still at the party.

"Well, I'm so hungry to smell that food. Come on to the kitchen" Cindai's mother said.

The two of them walked together to the kitchen, and I followed back and listened to their chatter and behavior.

"Sit, Mi. Let me tell you the food" said Mamak.

I rushed to get some bowls and dishes, gave them to my mother. The food in the room has also moved.

Moments later she spooned the rice, capcay and sauteed the meat onto the plate and gave it to Cindai's mother.

"Thank you, Ma. You are my friends. I should be happy today at Pure's wedding, but it hurts like this" Cindai's mother said as she began to enjoy her meal.

"That's okay, Mi. His name also hurts, who could have thought?" entertain mom.

I was still observing the two middle-aged women. But now I find confusion, Mak Jenab is a good friend of Cindai's mother as well. He also has a son, Mono.

About similar names, maybe Mak Jenab has a long name where other words are similar to the name Mak Rahmi.

But ... Mono is married! Whenever Cindai's baby mate is Mono, at least it's not a barrier for me.

"It's lucky to have you as my true friend, Ma," Mak Rahmi later said.

And, of course I was surprised!

Yeah, God! It turns out that Cindai's mother's true best friend is a mother. My mum.

Means for sure, the children who were betrothed as children were Cindai .. and I!

Am I happy? Honestly yes. However, do I have to tell Scan about this?

Nah! I decided not to tell him about the results of my investigation.

Wh why? Wouldn't Cindai just be easier to give an answer to the revelation of my love? Yes, it's true, but that's not what I want from him.

I want the love of Cindai for me now, for my love struggle at this time. All I wanted was her acceptance of truly loving my real self.

It's free to accept my love just because I'm his childhood mate, not because I really love my current self. I don't want that kind of love.
