TWELVE DAYS OF LOVE

TWELVE DAYS OF LOVE
Hanging

The sky has shaded. No more rain, wind and lightning.

Only my heart is still foggy because love has not been welcomed.

I don't know how much time will be killed, waiting for that answer to come.

But let the time pass, I will keep waiting while making sure it stays here.

The rolling motor wheel took our way home. Before taking Cindai to his house we stopped briefly to Mono's house to return the basket where the invitation was and notify the report of the implementation of our duties.

But before we left, Mono suddenly remembered something to stop us.

"Dil, wait! I almost forgot to say, starting Thursday afternoon we practice ball again, you come? On Sunday afternoon we had a match" Mono said.

"Compared? In what order?" my many.

"Durian Village offers friendly matches in order to test before the tournament between villages. Grace says you're still here to play. He wants to try your skills now, because he plays in the Durian Village team," Mono explained.

A mercy? Did this friendly idea come from him? A prejudice swirled in my mind. Could there be a veiled intention to be conveyed through this match?

Don't-don't .. he intends to steal me. Didn't he and his team always win those football games? Ahh .. could this be because of his jealousy?

And Cindai .. will side with which team is he? Who will support it?

"okay, No. I'm coming," I said steadily.

Now we have arrived in front of Cindai's house. He got down and handed me the helmet.

"Thank you, Bang," he said.

"Either. And ... about that one, I'll wait."

"I. .. can't be sure how long."

"No why."

"When are you back in town?"

"Eight more days."

We were silent for a moment until a voice made us turn away.

"Scan!" call that voice.

A man came out of the house.

"Bang Mercy?" hiss Cindai.

For the umpteenth time the man appeared in the midst of our moment togetherness.

The man walked towards us.

"You were rained on?" ask Grace to Cindai when she gets to where we are. His eyes looked at the jacket that Cindai was wearing.

"There is no way that we will allow ourselves to be showered, it is certain that we will take shelter" Cindai replied.

"That's what I told you to get home soon. Look at this afternoon, soon Maghrib," said Rahmat again.

"Lho, didn't you know it was raining?" muttered Cindai.

"Yes, I mean before the sky starts to cloudy why don't you go home soon."

"How can we go home when the task is not completed. Besides, did we know the sky was going to be cloudy?"

"Already, Mat. The most important thing is that Scan has returned safely," as I.

Grace looks at me. "OKAY. Thank you," he said.

"Lho, no need to thank me. That's my job, '" I said.

"Yes, he said that" I replied.

"You're coming, right?" ask again.

"Surely," I replied steadily.

"Goodoo. I miss seeing your expression every time our football game is over" he said with a sly smile.

Yeah, he seems to be insinuating me. My team and I always lose, and after the game I always cry. Not only crying in the field, but reaching home and continuing to cry on the lap of Mamak.

But that was, when I was a child, SD to Junior High.

That satire is right about my heart. A determination to win was immediately stirring.

Apparently my guess is correct, Rahmat intends to invite me. But it's not just a football game but a heart game. He must have just wanted to make me slump in front of Cindai.

Maybe he is hoping, his victory over the football game this time can show that he is better than me.

"Just calm down, Mat. That expression this time will be different. Especially ... if Cindai is willing to watch the match," I said as I turned my eyes at Cindai.

"I ... indeed since the first always watch football matches between villages," muttered Cindai.

"And he has always been a supporter of the Durian Village team" said Rahmat.

"Ooo ...?" my many.

"And since Junior High I moved there," replied Cindai.

"Want not to support the homeland?" my continue.

"Durian Village is also his ancestral land. But what is clear is that he can't support a team captained by people he hates." Grace that answers.

After hearing Grace's reply I turned to Cindai again.

"You don't know .. The distance between hate and love is even closer than a thread" I said.

Scan looks nervous. "It was .. just childhood hate," he said later.

"Ha-ha-ha ...." I laugh. Then I turned my face to Grace, "You hear me, right? He only hated me in childhood, but now he doesn't hate me anymore."

Grace's face shrank again.

"Here you go, we'll see. Who's team will win." Grace looks at me full of resistance.

"Alright," I replied.

"Cindai, let's get in for a break" Rahmat told Scan later.

Cindai nodded, then said to me, "Scan go in first, Bang."

I replied with a nod with eyes closing. But remembering something, I called him back. "Scan, wait!"

He looked, and so did Grace. I pulled out the cell phone, then handed it to Cindai.

He seemed to understand what I meant and started typing some numbers in the phone call menu, after which he handed the device back to me.

I pressed the call button, as soon as the phone in Cindai's bag rang.

"That's my number. Okay, I'll go home first."

Cindai just nodded, while Grace seemed to dislike the scene that just happened. But he was helpless to stop it. His heart may be getting riled up, me and Cindai have exchanged phone numbers.

Cindai walked towards her house still wearing my jacket. Maybe he forgot to notice it, and I didn't remind him either.

Let the jacket continue to be worn to warm her body while waiting for the time to come when my love warms her heart.
