Chapter 76

Tonight the moon hiding behind the clouds adds to the atmosphere of silence becomes increasingly gripping. The branches of trees that were rustling in the wind gave music that night.

In a room with minimal light, curled up a petite girl in the corner of the room. That girl was Helen Liu. He lowered his face while hugging his own body. There was the sound of footsteps outside that were getting closer to the room.

The sound of a revolving key child and a creaking door signifies the person entering the room where Helen is. Helen hugged her body tightly hearing the footsteps approaching her. He was getting scared, wanting to feel like he was screaming but his throat was dry because of the constant crying. Ever since she was kidnapped a few weeks ago, she has been crying almost every day. Although he was not treated badly, fear and discomfort always haunted his mind.

"Why? Are you still not eating?" ask the man who entered the room. He saw a plate containing food that was still untouched.

Helen dared to look at the man's face. Just like always, the man always wore a creepy face mask to cover his real face. At first Helen was afraid to look at the masked man, but after a few days she was kidnapped she was used to seeing the masked face.

"Le-leave .. I, sir," said Helen softly pleading with the man.

The masked man smiled smirked and approached Helen while crouched down in front of her. He pulled Helen's face with one of his hands, "Do you think going on a hunger strike can persuade me to let you go, little girl?"

The man's voice sounded cynical as he said it. Helen's body shook with tears. The man snorted and removed Helen's face from his hands violently.

"I warn you. If you want to go on hunger strike, go ahead! I don't mind throwing your body out in the woods so you can't meet your good brother" the masked man said.

Helen rounded her eyes listening to the man's threat. Her tears spilled, her voice choked. The man screeched and stood up while shaking his waist.

"I'll let you go after your brother gives me what I want. But if you still insist on a hunger strike. It's none of my business!"

Helen wiped away her tears and tried to let out her voice painfully, "A-I .. I will .. ma-eat ...."

The man grinned at Helen's words, then left the room. He did not forget to lock the door before leaving. After locking the door, the man still stood in front of the door and removed the mask covering his face.

The flawless white skin carved the man's face. With thick eyebrows and a firm jaw adds to the good looks of his face. Adrian Song, 26, is the owner of Majesty Group.

"You ask the kitchen to make some more food and deliver it to the girl's room!" adrian's orders before passing leave Albert.

Adrian came into his office. He threw his body in his large swivel chair. He lifted his face and leaned his head on the chair. He closed his eyes tightly.

Adrian didn't want to hurt Helen. He only used the little girl to threaten Steve to take on the Royal Group's Green Resort project. Adrian wants to take down the Royal Group because the CEO of the Royal Group, Vincent Zhang, has ruined the lives of his grandfather and his family.

Adrian stood up from his seat and walked towards the dartboard attached to the wall of the room.
