The Royal Hospital.
Several steps raced down the hospital corridor. Their steps slowly came to a halt in front of the operating room.
Mrs Merina, Daniel and Grandpa Juan arrive in haste after getting word from Tiffany that Amira has been in an accident. Tiffany immediately went to Royal Hospital when Lucas gave her information. The girl did not forget to contact Amira's family because Lucas did not have her contact info.
"Where? Where's my daughter?" mrs Merina shouted hysterically to Tiffany and Lucas who were waiting for them in front of the operating room with Mrs Celine closing her eyes tightly while praying for the safety of her two grandchildren.
"Mother calm down" said Daniel.
"How can I calm down, I ...." Sobs Madam Merina stopped her speech.
Grandpa Juan sighed softly. He sat down beside Madam Celine quietly in the waiting room. "Have, we'd better pray for the safety of both of them right now."
Daniel told his mother to sit and wait in front of the operating room.
They all waited anxiously. Not a single word came out of their mouths.
Moments later, a nurse came out of the operating room where Vincent was being treated. "Is there a side to Mr Zhang's family here?" tanyakanya.
"What's up, Sus? They're on their way here" Lucas answered quickly and approached the nurse.
"Patients need a lot of blood right now, but the same blood stock as patients in hospitals is not currently available. If there are families who have the same blood type can donate blood to patients," explained the nurse.
"I'm His Grandma. Can I donate blood for him?" madam Celine asked to get up from her seat and approach the nurse.
"Sorry, Madam. You can't donate blood, because it would be a big risk considering your age now" explained the nurse to make Mrs Celine disappointed and sad.
"Would anyone other than the family not be able to donate blood?" lucas asked for an explanation.
"I don't think it will be suitable, because—" The nurse explained, Mrs Thalia and her husband have come in a hurry to get to them.
"Vincent! Where's my son?" shouted Madame Thalia.
"Mrs, relax. Are you Mr Zhang's mother?" ask the nurse.
"I-iya .. I'm her mother. How's my son doing, Sus?" madam Thalia asked the nurse.
"Calm, Mistress. Now the doctor is doing his best. Right now the patient needs the same blood stock as the current patient" the nurse replied trying to calm Ms. Thalia down.
"Take .. take my blood. Save my son, Sus!" pinta Nyonya Merina while thrusting her arm.
"I am too, Sus. My father. Take my blood too!" mr. James was next to his wife.
"Alright, but first I want to ask what blood type Mr and Madam are also golden blood types?" ask the nurse to make sure they have the same blood type.
"A-what do you mean? My blood type is A and my wife is also A" Mr James said, puzzled by the nurse's question, as well as by everyone who was there.
The nurse herself was also confused by the current situation, but she kept explaining to the family.
"Golden blood is one of the rare blood in the world. Currently Mr. Vincent is one of the people who have golden blood and can only receive blood donors from fellow owners of golden blood as well" explained the nurse quickly and briefly.
"Ba-how is possible ...," said Mrs Thalia flabbergasted. The expressions of everyone there were also more or less the same as that of Lady Thalia, confused and shocked to know the truth.
"Take my blood!"
The voice of a man who was at the end of the corridor of the room turned everyone's attention to him. The old man in his fifties was sitting on his electric wheelchair staring intently at everyone in the room. Behind him stood a young man accompanying his master, in his hand carrying a document. They are Hades and Silver.
Hades steers his electric wheelchair towards the nurse, followed by Silver.
"Take my blood" he asked the bewildered nurse.
"Sorry, are you a patient? Is it the family?" ask the nurse.
"I also have a golden blood. I'm his father" Hades replied flatly, but was able to make the whole room into an uproar with his statement.
"What do you mean, Sir!" hardik Lady Thalia did not accept Hades' answer.
"Sus, please save our son" asked Mr. James expectantly.
"Alright, this sir please come with me to do the examination first" said the nurse.
"no need. I have authentic evidence and reports of my blood type results with patients" Hades said quickly.
Silver gave the documents in his hand to the nurse. The nurse immediately read and nodded slowly.
"All right, Mr …." The nurse read the name on the document. "Mr Anderson, please come with me inside" said the nurse who helped Hades into the operating room.
"Why is that possible. Vin-Vincent is my son with you James. How could that boy be?" muttered Madame Thalia slowly. He fainted from shock, unable to accept the fact. Mr. James immediately took his wife to the ER with Lucas' help.
Madam Merina was surprised to hear the information she had just obtained. He felt sorry and guilty for separating his daughter from Vincent.
"Mom, what's wrong with you?" daniel asked, trying to calm his crying mother again.
"If ... I had told Amira everything earlier, maybe .. they both wouldn't be like this" said Mrs Merina stammering.
"What do you mean?" grandpa Juan didn't understand his son-in-law's words.
"A-I .. asked Vincent to part with Ami, asking her not to get in touch with him again. I thought they were siblings, but it turned out ...," Mrs Merina said.
Daniel listened to his mother's story. He's the only one new to the matter of Amira's blood relationship with Vincent, even if it's just a misunderstanding. He rubbed his face violently.
"Amira already knows everything, Auntie," said Tiffany, who was not far from there.
They stared at Tiffany who lowered her face. Tiffany explained a few hours ago, when she contacted Amira.
"Sorry .. I'm sorry, Ami. I should have told you first," Tiffany muttered.
"Already! Never mind .. You are all guilty, I am also guilty. We're all guilty of both!" grandpa Juan was upset. Annoyed to all and to himself.
Madam Celine who had just been silent, started to open her voice. "Juan, it's nobody's fault. Perhaps this was the fate that they both had to live. We can only pray for them to stay alive and give them this happy news later" said Mrs Celine wisely.
All listened to Mrs Celine's words in silence and gave their prayers at this time, including the current Silver who had still been flat-faced ever since.
Half an hour later, the lamp in front of the operating room where Amira was treated was extinguished. The doctor came out of the room. Madam Merina and the others approached the doctor, except for Silver.
"So, how's my daughter doing?"
"Miss Lin's condition is already better. There were some stitch wounds on his head and his hand broke a bone, but we did our best. We can only wait for the patient to awaken immediately so that we can do further examination. The patient can already be transferred to the usual care room," explained the doctor and immediately resigned.
"Thank God .. thank God ...," muttered Madam Merina and her body was hollow. Daniel immediately filled her in the waiting chair while Amira was transferred to the hospital room. They're still waiting for news of Vincent's condition.
Mr. James and Lucas returned to accompany Mrs Celine after delivering her to the ER room.
"How, Ma?" ask Mr. James to his mother.
Madam Celine shook her head slowly. He did not answer, but his mouth remained softly muttered a prayer for his grandson at this time.
Mr. James glanced at the silent Silver and closed his eyes. The man looks so calm. His face was so flat, there was almost no visible expression.
Mr. James tried to get close to Silver and cleared his throat. "Sir, can I interrupt your time for a moment?" ask Mr. James.
Silver opened his eyes and looked at Mr. James flatly. "I don't think I have the right to answer your question. You can ask my master later," he said coldly. Mr. James could only swallow his saliva slowly getting that answer.
"Alright," replied Mr. James and immediately returned to his seat.
Moments later, the operating room lights went out. Vincent and Hades were escorted out of the room and also transferred to the inpatient room.
"Just calm. Both of them are pretty stable. We wait for further examination after the patient's consciousness begins to recover" the doctor told Vincent's family.
Mr. James and the others breathed a sigh of relief listening to the doctor's explanation. They also followed the nurse who drove the two patients to the inpatient room.
To be continue ….
