Chapter 12

Royal Group Building.

"For the boss" Lucas said to Vincent, who had come to the office.

The clock shows at 6:30 a.m. Vincent doesn't usually come at this hour because he usually comes around the clock.

Yesterday Vincent came bad luck, about 9 am Vincent just got to the office. Arriving at the office he immediately held a weekly meeting which is usually held once a week.

But don't know why, Vincent's emotions exploded yesterday. The results of the report submitted to him he thought all the reports were wrong in his eyes, until his employees were told to re-create the reports. In addition there are employees whose presentation is ugly and cursed, there are also those who were demoted because they are said to be unable to handle their subordinates.

According to Lucas' observations, the two days his bosses looked different. What makes him different is the look on his face. Yes, not getting better, it gets worse. Today, his face was completely cold, colder than yesterday.

All this happened because of Amira, the girl who made Vincent turn out like this.

Two days ago, after Mrs Celine's return from Vincent's apartment, Vincent decided to go to bed after cleaning himself up. But he couldn't sleep, he had insomnia that night. Whatever he did, Amira's shadow seemed to continue to haunt him.

That night Vincent wants to contact Amira asking about her condition and apologizing but she is a prestige. She does not want to admit that her heart is starting to open with Amira's presence in her life.

And yesterday Vincent tried to evict his high prestige and sent a message to Amira's contact number, but the message was neither reciprocated nor read. Vincent waited for a reply from Amira to this day, but the slightest response was absent. This time he was not cared for by a woman. That's what made Vincent's mood worse today!

"Gather the supervisors and branch managers in the meeting room at 9am this morning!" vincent's orders to Lucas.

"Okay boss" Lucas replied, nodding his head.

Lucas immediately pulled out his phone and sent a message in whatsapp group, "URGENT!! 9 MEETING WITH MR VINCENT! NO ONE IS LATE!"

Everyone who reads the group on whatsapp is instantly in the fog, as it gets the message this early. It was like they had a death sentence. All hurried to leave their activities and leave for the Royal Group Building.

I don't know what else is going to happen today. Everyone in the meeting room felt a great tension, cold sweat pouring down every face of Royal Group employees. Their hearts raced fast while waiting for the word of the god of death who was ready to behead anyone he called.

A stack of documents thrown by Vincent on the meeting table makes the room more tense and gripping.

Execution commenced!

At 12 noon

It was lunchtime, all the supervisors and branch managers who attended the meeting heaved a sigh of relief. They all as much as possible or that second also came out of the meeting room. It felt like attending a meeting today had their lives lost half or maybe even entirely!

Vincent and Lucas left the meeting room first. Right now, they're standing waiting for the car in the lobby. Vincent glanced at the Rolex watch on his wrist. It was a hot afternoon when the sun was stinging, Vincent loosened his tie a little.

Rolls Royce stopped in front of Vincent. Mr. David immediately rushed down and opened the back door for Vincent. Lucas immediately opened the passenger door in front for himself. Then, after Vincent got into the car, Mr. David immediately got in and drove his car.

"Egem ... Bosses. Later at 7 pm there is a banquet from Mr. President Calvin Lee. He wanted to talk about the resort project in Green Forest, and he brought his fiancee, will the Boss bring a companion too?" Lucas tried to open the conversation.

Vincent looked at Lucas through the middle-view, "No need" he said flatly.

After that the silence continued again, with no one willing to start the conversation until the car stopped at a restaurant.

VELVET RESTAURANT is a restaurant owned by the Royal Group. Vincent went there for lunch as well as checking the condition of the restaurant and the food menu.

Vincent sat on the purple sofa in the right corner by the window and Lucas in front of him, then a waitress handed Vincent a meal.

"Take out all your best food at this restaurant!" vincent's orders without looking at the food menu the waiter gave.

The waiter rushed to the kitchen and gave the code to the head chef that there was an impromptu check from the restaurant owner. All the chefs in the kitchen are preparing to make the best of all their abilities.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was quite crowded because it was lunch time. Vincent sat elegantly looking out the window. Before long he scrunched his forehead when he looked closely at a beautiful girl was getting off his red Porsche. Unknowingly Vincent smiled.

Lucas followed his boss's eyes, and found Amira Lin. Seeing the look on his boss's face, Lucas finally understood why the two days of his boss's mood was erratic like a roller coaster.

"Vincent?" greet a woman to Vincent. Vincent turns his back on Amira to the woman, and so does Lucas.

The look on Vincent's face that had started to brighten back dark when he saw the woman who greeted him. Lucas who saw the look on his boss' face could only swallow his saliva, bitter !

"Vincent, it's true you. I thought it was the wrong person" said the woman again. Vincent was indifferent and did not want to serve the woman.

The woman looked at Vincent from top to bottom with her amazed gaze.

The woman is 28-year-old Anna Lee, a top actress. He was Vincent's ex-lover who had betrayed him. Vincent once caught him playing in love with a man. Since then, Vincent no longer wants to connect with any woman and close his heart tightly.

"Vin .. are you still mad at me?" ask the woman again to try to get Vincent's attention. Without Vincent's permission, he sat down beside her and grabbed her arm, "Vin, you please listen to my explanation first, it was me ...."

"Enough, Anna! Our business was done five years ago. There's nothing to talk about anymore!" sidetrack Vincent with cold.

Anna is shocked by Vincent's current attitude towards her. For Vincent it was all his bitter past and had been buried deep, he was unwilling to bring it up again.

Vincent stood up and left Anna at his seat, then he walked towards the exit and greeted Amira who was looking for a seat. Vincent rushed straight into Amira's tiny body and hugged her tightly.
