The Lin Family Residence.

Vincent glanced at the clock on his wrist, having shown it at eleven o'clock in the evening. He looked at the house in front of him, some lights had gone out only remaining terrace lights and garden lights only.

He took his phone and sent a message to his girlfriend. At first he wanted to contact her, but abandoned his intention of fearing waking the girl up when she had fallen asleep.

My Bear ❤

Have you been sleeping?

No need to wait long, the message was immediately replied by her lover. Vincent smiled at her smile reading her message.

My Chubby ❤

Haven't. Where are you, honey?

Vincent immediately dialed his girlfriend's phone number and made an outgoing call.

Just one ringtone came in, the girl immediately raised it.

"Hello" replied Amira across the phone.

"I'm out of the gate" said Vincent quickly.

Amira gasped and immediately replied, "Alright, wait for me for a moment." He switched off his phone and rushed out.

Not long after, the girl came out in pajamas with a thick coat on the outside. He saw Vincent standing outside the gate of his house by leaning his body against the body of the car behind him while folding his hands together.

"I thought you were asleep" said Vincent as the girl was in front of him.

"Yet. You said you wanted to come, so I waited for you while making this," Amira replied as she thrust out a box of food in front of Vincent.

"Say you didn't eat well today. Can't you take care of yourself? How are you sick?" amira's nagging is long.

"His word?" Vincent frowned listening to his lover's nagging.

Amira immediately shut her mouth tightly. He was flippant earlier.

"Oh, now Lucas is your spy? It seems like tomorrow I need to consider his position again," muttered Vincent mangosteen after being able to guess who the person who had reported to his lover was.

"Don't! He cares about you, Vin. You can't" protested Amira defending Lucas. He didn't want Lucas to get into trouble because of him.

"Why? So now you're defending him? Then I'll send him somewhere else tomorrow" Vincent replied jokingly, but still with a serious look.

Amira flings her lips at her lover's senseless plan. He shut his mouth this time.

Vincent smiled and pulled the girl's body into his arms, hugging her tightly. "I lied, honey. There's no way I'm moving it. I just don't like you talking about another man in front of me, let alone defending him" she whispered softly.

Amira wants to let go of Vincent's embrace, but the man holds her back and hugs her tightly. "Let me be like this for a moment" whispered Vincent again.

Vincent buried his face on his girlfriend's shoulder. His tiredness seemed to evaporate along with his current sense of longing. Amira could only put herself in a hug like that.

"Are you in trouble, honey?" ask Amira who is still in Vincent's arms.

Vincent just kept quiet and shook his head slowly. This time he kissed the girl on the forehead and looked her in the eyes gently. "none. I just miss you" he said.

Amira knew the man was lying to her. He is determined to find out later.

"It's okay. I love everything you cook," Vincent replies and pulls Amira's hand. He opened the back door of the car and told the girl to go inside. "It's cold outside, it's better inside."

Within minutes, Vincent had finished a box of fried rice made by his lover. "Enak," he praised.

Amira smiled broadly. "Of course it's good. Who dong used to make," said Amira narcissistic.

Vincent pinched both cheeks of the girl and quickly kissed the girl's lips before she was protested. The kiss was slow and gentle, yet not demanding.

Amira clasps her arms around the man's neck and kisses him back, until they are out of breath and let go of each other, seeking out the air around him.

Vincent looked at the girl gently, wanting her to pounce on him right then and there, but he realized she would not like him. He immediately turned his gaze forward, not wanting to linger staring at his lover so that his desire did not reappear.

"Said you ran away from home this afternoon?" vincent asked trying to find a conversation to get her mind off.

Amira nodded slowly and sighed harshly.

Vincent turned to look at the disheveled face on the girl. "Why? You had a fight with your mother? Your mother knows our relationship?" guess Vincent got the nod from the girl.

"I really don't understand, Vin. Why do they always tell me to part with you? I don't want to and don't want to!" yelled Amira frustrated.

Vincent pulled back the girl's body and hugged her. Swiping on the girl's back, trying to cheer her up.

"Prophey, honey. I'll find time to see your mother. Let me talk to him," comfort Vincent.

Amira nodded and buried her face in the man's arms, until she fell asleep with him.

Meanwhile somewhere else, the Blue Lake Residence.

Adrian just got home from work. He entered the yard of the new house he occupied for several days and parked his car in the garage.

His smile continued to be imprinted on his lips, until he entered his room. A woman was sitting on her bed, leaning her back and folding her hands together. Her face did not look happy, as she had been waiting for her husband to come home and had called her dozens of times, but was not answered.

Adrian's smile faded to see the sour face of the woman who is now his wife. The woman looked at her from earlier and frowned in surprise at the fleeting smile on her husband's face that she had not seen for a long time.

Just over a month they were married, but the happy marriage that had been her dream had been shattered into pieces. Before marriage, Adrian had said that he did not love Emmy, but the woman insisted that the man marry her. Emmy thought that Adrian would slowly love her, but she was wrong. The man who was her current status as her husband never glanced at her at all, even to touch her body was reluctant.

Emmy finds out Adrian married her only for the sake of her family's power and possessions, but her love has blinded her. He was willing to let himself be used by the man.

"Where are you from?" ask Emmy flat. Although she knew Adrian would not answer her question, but she was curious this time, because her husband came home with a different face than usual.

Emmy walked up to her husband, helping him open his tie and shirt.

"Why didn't you pick up my phone?" ask Emmy again.

"The battery is dead," answered Adrian lazily and walked into the bathroom.

Emmy let out a long sigh and put her husband's clothes into a basket of dirty clothes. She thought about going back to sleep, but the sound of a cell phone ringing from her husband's briefcase undid her intentions.

'He said the battery died. You liar!' inner Emmy was upset.

Emmy picked up her husband's briefcase and pulled out her phone. One message entered the number, but he ignored it, returning it to the front screen. His eyes were round staring at the screen of the phone and pinched sharply. He squeezed the phone tightly and clenched his teeth. Her current anger is not with the person who has sent the message to her husband, but rather with the image attached to the front screen of her husband's current phone. A picture of a beautiful girl wearing a wedding dress and smiling towards him.

'Who is he? Did this girl make him smile today?' the inner Emmy who had already harbored anger within his chest.

To be continue ....
