There's No Reason To Survive

There's No Reason To Survive
For Mother's sake.

"Thank you.., thank you for being my best friend Sill.." said Rossa who was barely heard by Silla.

Silla knows her best friend will definitely bear her own suffering, Silla knows that Rossa does not want to trouble others. So he chose not to force Rossa, telling her all of his sadness right now.

"Yes Ross, sorry. I was just as emotional as you, now we better go to the hospital first" Silla told her best friend.

Silla shrugged Rossa's shoulders to stand up, she wanted to calm Rossa down to make her stronger to face all the trials that had befallen her.

"Already.., you must be strong Ross. Don't cry anymore, remember your sister's mother. They are still waiting for you now, and I will accompany you no matter what. So you have to be strong, and encourage your mother who is still lying in a coma in the hospital. You know, that comatose person can still listen?." Tanya Silla deliberately lures Rossa, to distract her from the grief.

Rossa raised her head to look at Silla, her tears still ceaselessly wet the cheeks that had been reddened by crying.

"The comatose person can still hear our voice, only he cannot be awakened from his subconscious. So., you should take auntie on talking. In order for auntie to wake up and be immediately aware of her coma, you notice what I mean by Ross?." asked Silla reassuring Rossa of her words just now.

Rossa just nodded her head hearing Silla's words, she wiped away her tears that could not flow from earlier.

...☘☘☘...

On the way to the hospital, Rossa again thought about her life and also her sister who is still in the dormitory today.

How do they pay for their mother's hospital expenses?, not to mention to pay all the bills every month.. And the most burden of his mind is, he who is no longer holy!.

Rossa looked down and covered her face with both hands, Silla who was driving a car glanced at her best friend once in a while.

"Ross.., if you need anything. Just talk to me, don't hold your own." Silla said, looking back at the streets.

Rossa who heard Silla's words raised her head that lowered earlier, she leaned her head on the back of her best friend's car seat.

"I don't know how my nasipku and Rommi after this Sill, I can't imagine in the future how?.." Clear threads fell back, which he could not bear anymore.

Hearing Rossa's words, Silla knew what her best friend was thinking right now.

"If it's a money problem, I can help you Ross. I mean, you can borrow it first. After you work or have more money, you can return the money with me." Silla said intentionally to Rossa, because Silla knows. Rossa would have refused, if he gave money for free.

"Emm, thank you Sill. I really need a lot of money now, because I don't know my mother's finances all this time.. Mom always forbade me to work part-time to help her, but she always overtime and came home late because she was looking for more money to charge our lives. I feel.., I-I don't want to lose my mother Sill.." Rossa said with a trembling voice, and she could not avoid it anymore her crying broke right then and there.

Rossa does not want to lose her mother again, having lost her father who had an accident a few years ago when she was 11 years old.

Silla immediately pulled over her car, she did not have the heart of her best friend in deep sorrow. Silla understood Rossa's current mood, which was still very fragile and very shocked.

"Cry Ross, spend your sorrow now.. Because you have to wipe away all these tears in front of your mother and sister, you have to stand up in front of them." Said Silla who was embracing Rossa's shoulder, in order to give her strength.

Silla was not able to hold back her tears, she could not bear the dawalangan that her best friend is suffering now.

Arriving at the hospital, Rossa went straight to the cardiologist's room. (Cardialogue)

Cardialogs are shrunk back to being heart disease experts and heart surgeons are more fokos on the treatment of heart disease, chest or whole.

"Tok. tok.. tok.."

" In.." The baritone behind the white room.

"Good morning uncle Martin.." Rossa's soft voice greeted, who was still standing in front of the entrance of the room.

The middle-aged man raised his head, looking at the figure of a young woman who reminded him of someone when he was a teenager. He was amazed, unable to say anything.

"Sorry uncle, is uncle still busy?. Then I'm per-" Rossa's words were cut off when the man called her mother's name..

"Mandy Ferdias..?" doctor Martin said.

Rossa and Silla stared at each other, the attitude of doctor Martin who looked petrified at this time in front of the two of them.

"A-I'm Rossa Ferdias uncle, her daughter Mandy Ferdias.." Rossa's words confirmed the middle-aged man's words before her.

"Aah, yes.. I'm sorry, uncle, you look a lot like your mother. Reminds me of the time we were friends, because you guys were exactly the same." Said doctor Martin clumsily, feeling awkward about his actions.

"Let's go in, and take your friend to sit down." Doctor Martin said again.

Rossa and Silla sit in front of Martin's doctor, whom Rossa remembers as Martin's doctor was a friend of his father and mother. While he still had his father, they often had dinner with Dr. Martin and a few others that Rossa does not remember much anymore at this time.

"How is my mother uncle doing?, is there still a great chance of a full recovery!?." Ask Rossa who seemed not to want to hear the word no, for the recovery of his mother.

"Uncle will be directly keintinya only, your mother's chance to recover a total of only 50% or it could be 10%. If only waiting for him to be aware of his coma, but there is 75% if he had a heart transplant. Heart transplantation is the ultimate effort, if all heart disease treatment done by the patient does not give results. This procedure includes safe steps, as long as you keep undergoing regular checks. Suitable candidates will be placed on a waiting list for a donor heart, while those who will not be given other treatment options that best suit their individual condition. What do you think, Rossa?." Martin asked the doctor after he finished explaining at length, to Rossa and his friend.

Rossa paused for a moment, then looked at Doctor Martin's face again.

"Do your best for my mother uncle, I will try to pay for all the treatment." Said Rossa with reddened eyes, holding back the tears she did not want to let out.

Rossa didn't want to lose her mother, she wasn't strong. Just imagine Rossa already wants to scream hysterically, especially if lost for good.

"You know, how much do you have to pay each month in this hospital?." Martin's doctor reminded Rossa, because his mother is being treated now is not an ordinary hospital.

"Yes.., I know uncle. Even so, I had to sell my honor to pay for it." Rossa's voice shook with her cry, she recalled the moment she lost her crown last night.

Silla and Martin's doctor were shocked, hearing Rossa's statement. Who was willing to sell his honor, for the treatment of his comatose mother.
