"Where are we going?" azka asked as Airin continued to push Azka's wheelchair through the classroom corridor after school that day.
"To the basketball practice room." Airin was still pushing Azka's wheelchair.
"Well? I don't want to." Azka turned to Airin and held Airin's hand. He didn't want to go there after he couldn't play basketball anymore.
Airin did not bother Azka. He kept pushing the wheelchair. They're now in the basketball practice room. Inside the room were Azka's friends who were practicing basketball.
Azka could only clench her hands. He could no longer play basketball, either for a moment or forever.
"Azka!" call Tomi. They all stopped the training. Tomi now approaches and pushes Azka's wheelchair into the middle of the field.
"Ngapain you bring me here. I want to go home!" Azka tried to shake Tomi's hand, but Tomi still kekeh bring Azka into the middle of the field.
"Azka, you're still our basketball captain."
Azka shook her head. "Gue has resigned as captain of basketball. I want to go back!" Azka holds her wheel and will spin but Revan holds her back.
"Lo wear, so you can move more freely." Revan provided a pair of walking aids with a crutch model.
Azka just stared at Revan. Just a moment ago he shifted his eyes. For him, he still felt deformed.
"Ka, I know the life you live is hard. I and the others can't reduce the burden on your life either" Revan said. "We can only pay attention that's not how much this makes you."
Azka let out a long breath. Then he grabbed the crutch and tried to stand up.
Revan now helps Azka stand up after the two crutches are tucked in both armpits Azka, she tries to balance herself. Then learn to walk with the help of those two crutches.
"Azka, you have to be sure that you can go back to how it was. We'll all always help you." Tomi now sits in Azka's wheelchair. He tried the wheelchair here and there.
Revan gave Azka the basketball. "Gue's sure you can still shoot this ball right on target."
Azka was hesitant at first but three seconds later she threw the ball and went into the ring even though she did not raise her hand too high
"Wee, indeed captain ter the best."
Tomi stood up and took the ball again and gave it to Azka. "Remain again."
Azka put the basketball back in. At least his longing for basketball was slightly treated.
Airin was now sitting in the audience seat. She smiled seeing Azka's smile expand on her lips.
"Van, Azka finally regained her spirit again" said Airin.
"Yes. Hopefully his legs will recover quickly not until 6 months."
Airin nodded his head. "Yes, I hope."
After being satisfied playing basketball, Azka now sits down and drinks her mineral water. Airin and Revan were still faithfully waiting for him.
"Don't you come home yet?" azka asked as Airin moved to sit next to her.
Airin shook his head. "No, I'm waiting for you."
"Yes, we've come home."
"Okay, I'll chat you up for a second." Airin took his cell phone and sent a message to his father. Then he looked back at Azka. "I'm glad to see you smile like this."
Azka nodded her head. "Thank you. You're all very good friends."
"We will always be there to support you." Airin now helps Azka stand up and walk out of the basketball practice room.
Revan folded the unused Azka wheelchair and followed Azka and Airin behind him.
"From now on I want to wear this on" said Azka, who was happy she could walk despite still using help.
"Yes, not papa. Yesterday I asked the Doctor you can wear it, and you also have to be diligent in checking up. Hopefully not until 6 months the cast can be removed."
Azka nodded her head.
"So the spirit."
"Yes." Yeah." Azka smiled as she looked at Airin.
Behind the two of them was Revan following them. Always she could capture the love of Azka's gaze for Airin.
