Leona let go of Edmund's hand, bravely confronting the lionesses before her fearlessly. He held onto his waist and advanced in front of them.
"Bothering fiancee? you guys are kidding, right? Oh, I've heard that you're betrothed to Jastin's sister, she should have rethought getting engaged to a crafty, slippery woman like you." Leona's words made all the women there gap, seeing the impudence of this girl.
The woman looked very furious, because no one had ever said a rude remark directly in front of her, they always praised her, of course because she was the daughter of the village chief, he said, he did not know that even these women often told him about his ugliness in the back.
The woman did not say anything, she just growled and turned home while stomping her feet.
"I wouldn't be surprised if that woman would bother you in a moment, Ed, she doesn't like it if someone else has something better than hers. Of course I know very well his cunning and slippery nature." Her speech.
"Truely, he was like that, very shrewd in provoking people." Said one of the women.
"And you were so easily consumed with his talk, how could I be with Jastin, we grew up together, I thought of him as my own brother and you didn't see how his mother was? you must know how horrible Ms. Caron is, Tch." Leona said in flames.
The women begin to gossip and justify Leona's words. "It's all just a misunderstanding, Leona. We thought you were bothering Jastin, understanding that we hate women who take lovers, let alone other people's husbands." Said one woman, while directing the others to disperse.
"Wait a minute, what about your scratches and pinches on my body, you've never cut my nails huh, you don't think these wounds hurt and will heal just like that?" Leona said angrily.
"Relax Leona we'll send you medicine and vegetables, we go first." They finally left while chattering a lot.
"Damn it, my vegetables are falling in the market, I'm losing big today." Leona. Edmund looked at her angrily, he then pulled Leona's arm.
"Are there only vegetables in your head? you have to treat your wounds." Edmund takes her and tells her to sit on a chair, and she takes the medicine box in the closet that Leona always provides because she is often injured when going to the sea.
Edmund sat down beside her, and opening the medicine box, he took a cotton swab and poured the red medicine into the cotton pad he held and attached it to the wounds on Leona's arm.
"Just wait if they don't bring me vegetables, I'll spread their secrets."
"Shut up, don't talk, I can't concentrate if you're moving." Leona looked at him, she then laughed.
"You're a concern, too, sir." Her speech. Edmund paid no heed to Leona's words, only to continue to treat her wounds and blow them away.
"What about your face, is there a wound?" she held her chin and watched him to the left and right. "Thankfully nothing, that face is very important, don't get hurt." Edmund said as he closed the bottle.
"Don't look at me like that, you'll fall in love, and you're not my woman type." Edmund said with a grin.
"His brain must be fixed." muttered Leona while shaking her head.
"Today let me cook, you rest, you must be tired after dueling with the lionesses."
"You can cook it." Leona poked her lips and doubted it.
"You don't know yet, I can do things, even though I'm the young master of my family, at least I can make food, all I can do." Her speech.
"Just rest first, if you're sick, who's gonna wash my clothes?" He pulled Leona's hand and told her to come in, then lay down on her bed.
"I'll wake you when the food's cooked." Leona nodded according, she closed her eyes and in just a moment, she had fallen asleep.
"It's so fast." Edmund said as he turned and looked at him.
From the outer courtyard, Jastin saw everything, she clenched her hands furiously until her knuckles protruded out, though he had run from the hills because he heard that Leona was attacked by terrible women in the market and it was all the work of his fiancee who was always jealous, Sarah Marshmille always hated Leona, since childhood he hated her so much, because since childhood Jastin only paid attention to her compared to him, for that Sarah asked her parents to be betrothed to him. Of course the news made Lady Caron happy, she betrothed her son just like that without asking for an opinion from Jastin. She always mentions the return of having raised her and would hurt Leona if Jastin refused her mother's wishes.
That day Jastin walked away, he did not pay attention to his path, his eyes were not focused and immediately his eyes whistled with Sarah Marshmille who was walking with her friends.
"You why? where have you been?" Said Sarah watching Jastin seem uninspired.
Furrowing her brows, she ignored sarah and walked without regard to her. Sarah glanced at her friends, then turned around and gestured for them to wait.
"Jastin, how can you behave like that? I'm your fiancee, you can't treat me like this in front of my friends." He said with a hissing sound.
Jastin looked at him like he was crazy. "Did I tell you to get engaged to me? it wasn't you who forced yourself and forced your mother to get us engaged, so it's your business, I never admitted your selfish engagement." Jastin said without shrinking his voice, he then forcefully let go of Sarah's hand grip on her arm.
Without him expecting a slap to come from the side and land on Sarah's cheek. Those friends of sarah who were standing not far from him were so shocked, when they saw Katty slapping her future sister-in-law.
"Women like you don't deserve to be with Jastin's sister, how dare you treat Leona like yesterday, I can't imagine a girl like you being my sister-in-law, just unmarried I'd like to throw up. Come on, brother Jastin, leave him." Latty.
The woman held her cheeks, she growled and stomped her feet on the ground, she cried out stifledly, after she calmed herself she returned to her friends who were whispering her, and began to doubt her intimate relationship with Jastin, he always told them all too much.
"It's all because of that wild girl, the commotion yesterday was nothing Leona, I'm going to break your heart, your fiance is handsome, something nice has to go back to a good owner as well, while you're just a poor girl is useless." He then took a breath after making a plan.
"You all right? I saw you muttering back there." Said one of his friends who had been watching his behavior since.
"I'm fine, let's go."

The darkening sky made Leona wake up, and Leona listened to the voices outside her house, the voice of a woman. He opened his eyes and tried to stand up.
"Tch, he didn't wake me, I didn't have lunch." Leona said as she opened the food on the table with lighting from an oil lamp. Leona immediately walked slowly looking for the origin of the sound.
"Isn't this voice similar to that of the woman? the Sarah Marshmille? why is he in front of my house?" Leona peeked out from behind the window. He saw the woman leaning against a wooden wall and deliberately exposed her neck and chest to Edmund. Leona close her ears, she wants to listen to their conversation.
"I came here to bring some medicine and some food in the basket as my apology to Leona, I didn't mean to hurt her." He smiled at Edmund as if beckoning to him.
Edmund is just a cross, he used to be a man who would accept any woman who would willingly give her body to Edmund, with open arms he would enjoy it, he said, but for some reason her former self has gone missing, either because she met Laura or because she now lives with Leona, her passion seems to be declining, and if any woman tries to seduce her, she will have to, he would just frown and feel something itchy like a flea trying to spread on his body and immediately want to be eradicated.
"You can leave it to me, because she's still asleep." Edmund.
"May I know? I heard that you and Leona were so intimate, that there was a rumor that you guys were always making love on that shipwreck, I was indeed engaged to Jastin, but he never did that to me, I just want to feel the wonderful experience of making love under the moonlight." He said as he gestured to Edmund.
"Do you know how I feel right now?" Edmund.
"What?" He said as he stepped closer to Edmund, licking his index finger looking at Edmund with his sensual face.
"Euh." Leona muttered, showing a face that wants to vomit.
"You're like the J4lang I used to see while I was sailing on the ship, you know? during my time on the ship, I've seen hundreds of women who are just like you, willing to give her body, and women like that no longer attract me, all that was left was a feeling of disgust when staring at such a woman." Edmund said coldly.
The woman suddenly froze in place, her face as if it had been slapped, she was deeply offended, no man on this island had ever rejected her charm except Jastin.
"You should be careful what you say, you know who I am? I could've told my father to check your origins and you'd be held in our village prison, for illegally coming to our island, I'll be cooperative if you know what's best for you." He said while lifting his chin up high.
Leona wanted so badly to slap the witch. But what Edmund did left him agape, and a little horrified. Edmund pulled the woman's jaw until she groaned in pain, her face being pulled so hard that her legs tiptoed along.
"No one has ever threatened me, let alone a lowly woman like you, if you dare to set foot in this house, just look how you and your family will end up, you understand." Edmund said, he removed the woman's jaw while pushing it hard. The woman was very surprised, her body was trembling and frightened. He said nothing more, the woman walked over and almost fell down because her legs were still shaking.
Leona immediately ran around and returned to her bed and pretending to be asleep, she turned her back to Edmund.
"Stop pretending, I know you're not sleeping, Leona." Edmund then sat down on the edge of his own bed.
"You eavesdropping, huh?" Ask.
"W-what? no, I'm not eavesdropping." Leona said.
"You're not at all good at lying, no, eat and sleep immediately, I'm tired of having to hear the woman's talk."
"Mm, okay." Leona turned around and peeked at him, he was already lying down and only showed his back.
"Tch, he's terrible when he's angry." Leona muttered as she began to bite the sandwich Edmund had made for her. Edmund who listened to her only smiled while closing his eyes.
