The island is to the north, very far from the inhabited islands. There is an island called the lost island, or the haunted island. On the lost island there was a remote, though remote, village that was prosperous with all the activities of the villagers. Zaudetta the name of the island, to reach the village is very difficult, the ships have to go through terrible currents, if you survive then you will be sure to be on the island.
"Where are we?" edmund asked as they walked 15 minutes from the waterfront to the village. The expanse of fields and houses became the first sight she could find, Leona's smile emanated from her face.
"Now that we're in my village, it's called Zaudeta village, the residents here are not so many, I can even memorize their names even to the house at the end there."
Edmund looked at the cheerful face of this girl who looked at him, he looked at her. "Where do you live yourself?"
"What's? Ah, I live near the big trees across the river, although a little bit away from the other residents' houses, but that house is my home, my own hard work during work."
"You said you lived alone here, Miss Leona?" Ask Edmund.
"Euh, don't call me Miss, just call my name, and I'll call you Edmund, fair right?" He showed his smile and took Edmund to his house.
Strange views and whispers of the villagers when they saw the arrival of Edmund who was directly inundated with gossip from house to house.
Tch, this innocent girl just smiled at all of them, even though ugly gossip and horrible eyes were addressed to her and of course to me**.
"You're sure you're part of this village, what's with their faces, Leona?"
"Huh? They've always been like that, don't worry they'll soon be nice to you because you're a handsome man." Cheerful speech.
The girl took Edmund on a winding road and a road that was quite difficult to pass. "Look over there, it's my house, you can rest and I'll make you some food."
Edmund was still on the papah by the caramel-haired brunette girl, she was always smiling cheerfully, she was always smiling cheerfully, his face was beautiful but the clothes he wore were very dull and musty like old clothes he bought in the market and used again. Finally they had arrived at the log house, among all the houses here, this house was the farthest away and so small, though small, but the place was clean and beautiful, a small fence surrounded the house and several blooming flowers crept in its wood.
"You live here?" Edmund asked after Leona sat him in one of the chairs in front of the porch.
"yes, since I was 15 I've been living here, you know? you must not believe what I'm about to say, this house used to be completely out of shape, all day long I just slept on top of that big tree, then Jastin called me to live in his house even though his mother was very fierce, she helped me make this house."
Edmund looked around, the house was quite comfortable to live in, although there were some parts of the wall that were detached and needed to be repaired, small trees grew around the bottom of the brown-painted wooden house. Simple but comfortable, under the tree there is a swing made of wood.
"Let's go in, the air will soon be cold, our village is very close to the ocean, so the wind from the sea blows directly to this village."
Edmund walked into the girl's house, looking a small living room and some chairs also made of wood. In the middle of the room was a long webbing, it seemed like the girl used to eat and do her activities on the webbing.
"Come here, you can rest on my bed and I'll make you something, oh yeah, change your wet clothes, let alone smell of sea water and the heat of the sun, you better clean your body in the back and I'll find you a change of clothes."
The girl spoke incessantly explaining everything, without suspecting or asking who the man she was helping was.
Edmund watched from behind the 20-year-old girl, she was busy hustling around with a hum on her lips.
"Leona, why are you helping me?" ask Edmund.
Leona turned around, as if she did not understand the intent of Edmund's question. His brows furrowed inwards, he was like thinking hard.
"Why? because you need help, you'll die if you lie on that beach." He answered, he went back to doing his activities to make food. Edmund took off his wet clothes, he walked towards the spot pointed at by Leona.
He saw nothing there but rivers and rocks.
"Where else, if not in that river." Leona said, she laughed and chuckled at the confusion on her face.
"I'm just kidding." Leona then pointed to the small room right beside her that connected with the flow of river water.
His gaze sharply looked at the girl then narrowed his eyes giving a warning. Leona then stopped laughing and turned her body around.
"Ck he's a grumpy man."
After bathing and cleaning his body, Edmund felt very fresh, let alone the water was so cold, Edmund wore a towel belonging to Leona that hung on his hips.
"What will I wear?"
"Wait a minute." Leona opened her small closet and stirred in it, she finally found clothes that Edmund deserved to wear, the model was not so different from the clothes he was wearing earlier.
"This shirt fits in your body, try it." Leona said, shamelessly standing before Edmund while cross-sectioned waiting for him to get dressed, she wanted to see if he was a good fit to wear it or not.
Edmund raised one of his eyebrows while folding his hands in front of his chest. "You sure you want to stand there staring at me while I'm wearing this outfit?" Edmund.
The girl was a little surprised, "Haha, I forgot, I want to see the clothes fit on your big body or not." Leona said then turned her body and walked towards the kitchen casually.
Edmund was wearing his clothes, a warm white polo shirt that fit perfectly on his body, in a pair with navy plain cloth pants.
"Can I turn around?" Leona.
"okay."
"Wuow, you're perfectly suited to wearing it compared to jastin, of course, your broad shoulders and long hair are perfectly fitted." Leona praised him while clapping her hands.
"Have you finished praising him?"
"Ehhm sure, I'm so glad the clothes I took from those shipwrecks ended up being useful as well." Leona took the food she had prepared on the matting on the floor, and she patted the matting and told Edmund to sit with her.
"Sit down, we'll have lunch, you'll be hungry, I'll be hungry."
Edmund sat down and faced Leona. "This food may look simple, but it tastes delicious, try it."
Edmund stared at the food in front of him, two whole-grain breads with butter on a small plate and vegetables and two glasses of milk.
"Why? you're not hungry?" He said, taking a piece of bread and putting butter on it.
"I'm not hungry." Edmund. He then stood up leaving his seat and immediately walked out of the girl's house. His face frowned furiously, he felt ironic and pitiful. He is a young master who is the sole heir of the Alexander family, he ends up on this island for helping a pirate man who is his own rival, so that Laura stops crying hysterically calling the man.
"What's wrong with him, doesn't he like this whole wheat bread?" Leona said as she inspected the bread.
"It's still good koq." Say again. "I don't understand the man at all, isn't he hungry or because the food doesn't fit on his tongue? Do I need to buy some other bread?" Leona muttered to herself while cutting her own bread and eating it.
