Chapter #22

Need has arrived at William's residence.

"Aante!" need shouted as he entered the magnificent mansion.

"Need, why are you yelling like that?" Bimo walks over to Need followed by Rara and Amel.

"I bring you happy tidings, Om."

"really? Tell me, have you found Raymond?" Rara seemed to understand the good news that Need was going to say.

"Aunty's guess is very true, '" Need smiled happily.

The whole family sparkles when Need says right.

"Where is Ray? How's Need doing?" Rara shook Need's hand with eyes that radiated happiness.

The smile that was imprinted on Need faded, he walked towards the sofa and sat b*k*ng on the sofa. When he saw Need who was no longer smiling, immediately the look on Rara's face also changed.

"What's Need? Did something happen to your sister?" Rara followed the steps of Need who walked to the sofa.

"I met Brother Ray in the village, he was fine. But there's one thing that makes me sad" Need lowered his head.

"What's Need? Say." Rara sat next to Need.

"So Ray's amnesia, he doesn't remember me or himself at all."

Rara gaped. "How's this, Pa?" Rara looked at her husband.

"Need, are you sure that that man is Raymond?" Bimo asked seriously.

"I'm sure, Om. I'm really pretty sure that he's Ray's brother, the locals say that they found Ray's brother by the river and in a state of amnesia."

"Well, if that's true tomorrow you're gonna have to take us to meet the man you believe is Raymond."

Need nodded.

"Pa, why don't we go see him now? Mama misses Ray so much, Pa.." Tears are dripping down Rara's cheeks.

"Ma, it's late afternoon and we'd better see the man tomorrow" Papa said softly.

"Om right, Auntie. Besides, now Ray's wife is grieving because her grandmother just passed away."

Rara's eyes smashed wide. "I—wife? What do you mean wife, Need?" rara was surprised.

Need told me everything she heard from the locals about Kiara being left married by her future husband to Raymond who replaced the man to marry Kiara.

Rara simply shook her head while smothering her own mouth in shock. 'There's no way, if it's Raymond, then I won't let Ray live with that poor girl. I just want Meysa to be my daughter-in-law' Rara's inner being upset.

"Well, tomorrow morning you should come here and take us to see the man." Bimo reminded Need to come back.

''Okay, Om. Then excuse me," Need just stepped off the couch and walked away.

Ray woke up because his ears faintly heard the sound of people teaching.

"Sw.." Ray held his head which was still a little twitching.

His eyes opened perfectly and although the firefly was currently staying in Ray's eyes, he was still trying to get up.

Slowly Ray got up from the bed and immediately cleaned up.

'He's Raymond, a businessman.' That's what Ray always remembered when he spoke to Need earlier.

"What does that guy mean? I'm a businessman? But I remember something, it's just that it's hard for me to understand. It felt an indistinct shadow and just the sound of an explosion, "Ray pinched his temple that felt pulsating.

Geck! Geck!

"Mas! Are you inside?" Kiara shouted while knocking on the bathroom door.

"Yes! I'm out soon!!!" sahut Ray from the bathroom.

A few minutes later.

The bathroom door opened and Ray came out with a towel wrapped around his waist.

Kiara who was on the edge of the bed immediately turned her face when she saw Ray who came out with only a towel on her waist.

"I'm sorry I must have worried you" said Ray stopping right next to Kia.

"You'd better put your clothes on first, Mas. After that we just talk," said Kia without looking.

Ray obeyed Kia's words and headed straight for the closet.

After she finished getting dressed, Ray went straight up to the bed.

"Is the teaching over?"

Kia nodded and looked at Ray. "What happened to you, Mom?"

"Well, when Mr. Need said that I was a businessman and he forced me to remember who I was, my head suddenly became dizzy" Ray said honestly, leaning his head against a pillow.

"But you're okay, aren't you, Mas?"

Ray nodded and smiled faintly. "Kia, right,"

Kia looked at Raymond's tanned eyeballs.

"I won't touch you until I remember who I really am. I want us to legally marry in the eyes of religion and country if my memory is restored. You don't mind, do you?"

Kia smiled sweetly and shook her head. "I believe that you are a good man, Mas. Promise me, if you remember who you really are, never forget me."

Ray nodded and pointed his little finger. "I promise."

Kiara received the cuddle with her little finger.

The two of them just threw each other a smile with their little fingers intertwined.
