The Village Girl Belongs to Mr. Amnesia
Chapters. #148

The morning came, the weather was very sunny and it happened to be a weekend. Kiara requested that Yola immediately come to the house, the middle-aged woman wanted to take Yola out for a walk.

After being at William's house, Yola decides to help Aunt clean the house first while waiting for everything to be ready.

"Bi, is Mr Ray awake?"

"Auntie I think, Miss. Does Miss Yola want to clean her room?"

"Yes, Bi. May it?"

"Go, Miss."

Yola walked up the stairs, the girl knocked on Rayyan's room door first before going inside.

"Master, can I come in? I'd like to clean up your room."

"Come in! I want to take a shower."

Yola opened the door, she looked around Rayyan's room. Very fancy and smelled masculine. He starts cleaning Ray's bed, then switches to sweeping away the dust that he has on the table. Unintentionally, the duster that Yola was holding dropped something. The girl was shocked to death when she saw Ray's beloved clock falling on the floor. It even broke.

Yola crouched down, she picked up the watch. "Oh my God, I'll be finished if Mr. Ray finds out" he said.

Shortly thereafter, Ray exits the bathroom wearing only a sleeveless t-shirt and shorts. He looked at Yola who was holding something, the girl looked confused.

"What are you holding?"

Yola looked up and Ray's eyes were fixed on the hand-off watch from his late wife. He approached Yola and forcibly took the Clock. His eyes look red, his face is very scary.

"What have you done? Why did this clock break and break?"

"T—tuan, s—me, I'm not senga—"

"How many times have I said, don't be a sloppy girl! Look, this is my favorite watch and a gift from my late wife-to-be! All this time, I took good care of her and not even one person could touch her, no one could!" ray shouted furiously, it was fortunate that his room was soundproof so no one would be able to hear the anger.

"The thing that I have been taking good care of instead you destroy it in a matter of minutes. You know, this watch is also very expensive and poor people like you won't be able to replace it!" ray was filled with emotion.

Yola was flabbergasted, she looked into Ray's eyes which were emitting anger. Slowly the tears dripped without permission, Yola wiped them away quickly. His chest was tight when Ray said it was poor, Yola would not be sad if he was reviled, but he became weak when someone said his life problems.

"I am a poor man, sir. And I'll try to replace that stuff. I accidentally nudged it and dropped your watch" Yola said in a trembling voice.

"Poor girl like you won't be able to afford a watch this expensive." said Ray annoyed to see Yola's face. "Go! Get out of my room!" her expulsion made Yola's breath feel choked.

Yola ran out of Rayyan's room, she shed tears and intended to go home. He would no longer want to deal with Rayyan's family. The humiliation Ray said made his heart very sick.

Kiara who had just come out of the room was surprised to see Yola who was crying after coming out from Ray's room.

"Yola! Yola where are you going?" Kiara calls but is not hounded by Yola. The girl ran away from there.

The curious Kiara went straight to Ray's room, she opened the door and saw Ray sitting on the bed holding his watch.

"Ray, what's wrong with Yola? Mama saw that she was crying and ran out of the house."

"Ma, from now on don't ever ask that girl to come here again."

Ray showed me his watch.

"Isn't this the clock given from Almarhumah?''

"Yes, Ma. And the girl destroyed it. All this time Ray took good care of her, but she just happened to accidentally break Ray's watch."

"Then?"

"Ray threw him out and said he no longer needed to come to this house or to the office."

Kiara was sad enough to hear the words from Rayyan, she knew that if Ray loved the watch so much that no one could touch it. However, this is just a trivial matter and Ray instead squanders a good girl like Yola just because of his already calm past in another realm.

"Why did you make a decision without thinking first, Ray?"

"Ray's convinced by Ray's decision, Ma."

Kiara can only resign, this weekend makes her very sad because of trivial problems.

Yola had reached home, without greeting her mother, the girl went straight into her room.

"By, Yola! Why are you home, son? Aren't you guys going?''

Yola sobbed in her room. ''Ma'am, Yola wants to be alone" he said, surprising the mother.

"What's wrong with her?'' mother also became a mind.

Yola covered her face using a pillow, the words Ray had uttered were still imprinted on her heart. He hit his chest that felt tight.

"Why is it so painful? It turns out that all rich people are the same, they underestimate poor people like me! No one wants to live poor, all this has become the destiny of the Almighty."

"I didn't expect Mr. Ray to be able to say such harsh words. He loved his past so much that he didn't appreciate the hurt feelings of others."

Yola was still crying, she wiped her tears when she heard the knock on the door. The girl opened the door, and mother was already standing there.

"Son, what's wrong with you? You cried? Who makes a mother's child sad?"

Yola hugged her mother's body, she cried again in her arms.

"Mom, Yola is no longer working at Mr. Ray's house. There's a bit of a problem and Mr. Ray is currently furious at Yola."

"What's up, kid? Tell Mom." Mother cupped Yola's face, she wiped away the tears using her thumb.

Yola starts to tell her what happened at Ray's house, but she doesn't say if Ray says it's a poor girl. Yola doesn't want her mother to be dislikeful of Ray.

"You must be patient, son. Maybe it's not your sustenance to work there, there's plenty of other places for you to find a job."

Yola nodded in understanding.
