The Village Girl Belongs to Mr. Amnesia
Chapters. #139

Two months have passed and Yola is still at home working in Rayyan's office. He does not mind if Ray always bothers him. But, right now there was a man who seemed to be trying to get close to Yola, who else if not Jayed.

Ever since meeting Yola, the man had been interested in her. In fact, Jay asks Rayyan to be his ninja way to get close to Yola. Rayyan refused because she didn't like it. However, for Jayed's sake he did too.

Ray is currently arranging a lunch schedule with Jayed, of course accompanied by Yola.

"Are you not mistaken to take me to lunch together, Sir?'' Yola asked in surprise, it was not usual for Ray to be this kind of kind.

"Already, Yola. You don't have to ask a lot of questions, the point is that you're just going to have lunch with me."

Yola also agreed.

A few hours later, lunch time arrived late. Yola gets in the car with Ray while Jayed waits at the cafe.

Before long, they arrived at the cafe. Yola walked behind Rayyan because it was not good for her to walk first in front of the boss.

Once inside, Ray immediately approached Jayed. Yola herself wondered why the man was there.

"Hello, Yola." said Jayed as the two sat in their seats.

"Hi, Mr. Choo." replied Yola.

"Have you guys made a deal? I thought, Mr. Ray just wants to eat alone with me." Yola was honest.

"Where is possible!" sahut Ray made Yola's chest suddenly feel tight. The girl was only able to develop her small smile.

"Oh, yeah. What do you want to eat, Yola? Just order what you want, I'll pay for it."

"Thank you, sir." Yola started to choose the food menu and after that she put the menu book.

"Eye, Yola. Can I ask you something?"

Yola answered him with a nod.

"You have a brother? I mean, if you know how many kids you're with?"

"I'm an only child, sir."

"Then, your parents are still complete?''

"My father's been gone since I was nineteen, he had heart disease. And mom, she's on an outpatient basis because there's a problem with her heart, too."

"Your mother's sick?"

"He must do the installation of the heart ring, therefore I accept any work while halal, although the salary is small but I do not mind.''

Ray was very excited to hear the story from Yola.

"I'm sorry, Yola.'' said Jayed. ''You like what color? And how old are you right now?"

"I love black, and I'm twenty-four years old.''

Jayed just nodded his head, while Rayyan listened while playing the phone.

Ray read the message from the mother, he was surprised with a frown.

'What did Mama say? Later that night after I got home from the office I have to go straight to the restaurant because there is something important that I want to talk about? What's that thing?" Ray's still guessing until he doesn't break into Jayed and Yola's conversation.

"Sister, why are you just quiet?"

Ray shook his head slowly, he did not want to be the third person in the conversation between Jayed and Yola. Ray knows that Jayed likes Yola because the man himself said so.

After finishing lunch, Rayyan and Yola say goodbye to return to the office. A few moments later, in the car they were both silent. The atmosphere was awkward and stiff. Ray was even reluctant to turn his head towards Yola. Not hate or dislike, he just wants to keep his heart.

Arriving at the cafe, Ray looks for his Mama's desk. He looked at Kiara who was waiting for him there.

"Is Ray late, Ma?"

Kiara shakes. "Sit, Honey. There's a guest we're waiting for."

Ray obeyed Kiara.

Soon, a couple came along with their daughter who was the same age as Yola. The girl was very pretty, her face was cross-eyed because she was of Turkish descent.

Ray wondered why there was such a meeting.

"Ray, this is Uncle Sam and aunty Lin. Then, she's their daughter, her name's Beyza."

Ray greeted with a faint smile, reluctant to speak.

"Ray, Uncle listen now your company is growing. Did ya? What if we do cooperation, it happens that our business is both standing in the field of property and furniture."

"Later on I'll think about it, sir."

"Why are you an Uncle with the name Mister?" Sam smiled a little.

They returned to talk until now is the culmination of the core topic of conversation.

"Ray, Papa asked you to come here because there's something that needs your approval."

"What's up, Pa?"

"We intend to match you with Beyza. Your age is both mature and suitable for marriage. Yes, you do not know each other, so Papa and Uncle Sam will give time for you two to get to know each other."

"Stupid?" Ray asked.

"Yes, Ray. Don't be afraid, Beyza is a good boy and she will definitely obey your words if you get married."

Ray glanced at Beyza's face, the girl was indeed very beautiful, but she was not the type of woman Ray dreamed of. Seen him still engraved the name of the ex who has died, somehow it is very difficult for Ray to open his heart.

"But, Uncle—" Ray's remark was interrupted because Raymond interrupted him quickly.

"There's no need to give an answer first, son. Just think about it and approach Beyza. Papa's sure you guys will feel a good fit, don't you think, Mr Sam?"

Sam just nodded, while Beyza smiled sweetly. Where could he possibly reject a handsome and established man like Raymond. He must be able to take the man's heart and make the man fall in love with him.

"I'll think about it later" Ray said.

A few hours later, they went home. Ray who was already in his house immediately issued an opinion.

"Ma, Pa, what the fuck is this? Why do Mom and Dad have to get Ray?"

"Darling, we are no longer young. At this age of twilight, we want to quickly pet a grandchild and see you get married. We just want you to be able to quickly have a companion, is it so heavy?"

"Ma, it's not a matter of weight or not. Ray's not ready to get married yet,"

"Why? Are you still thinking about that girl? Conscious, Ray. He's gone, it's free for you to wait for him and expect him." Raymond said, turning Ray's eyes red.

"Why is Papa talking like that? Papa knows how much I love my future wife Almarhumah. It's not that easy to forget her, Pa." Ray passed away leaving behind his parents who might not have finished talking.

"Ray! Rayyan! Don't be your bastard son, Ray!'' yelled Raymond but was not hounded by Ray.

"Mas have it, maybe he's tired. Give him time to think." said Kiara, of course he was very sorry for Ray, but this was also for the good of his son. At the age of thirty, Ray did not even have a lover.
