"Nabi! It's really nice room, spacious and clean ... dirty from where?"
Miya turned towards Nabila with a sumringah face. But Nabila ignored it, he was busy closing one of the wooden cabinets.
"Yeah ... emm .. This one cave closet yeah, you got that one over there"
"Oh .. okay" Miya pouted a little because Nabila did not respond.
Seeing the pouting face of his best friend, Nabila was a little unpleasant. "Oh yes! Suitcase lu Yak .. I took ya, where was it?"
"Emm ... in the hall, but where is it, huh?"
"Judah, look for the cave! You slept sono gih!" nabila. He hurriedly went out of the room.
Miya took a deep breath, she was confused by Nabila's behavior. At first he was so shocked to see Miya, then he was happy. Furthermore, he slightly objected if Miya slept in his room, but then he agreed, really planless. It was as if Nabila was hiding something ... Miya immediately glanced at the closet that was closed by Nabila earlier.
Clecks
Miya tried to open the closet by dancing on the door. Locked huh, muttered Miya. It's up to Nabila, I'm tired. Miya immediately went to bed and broke down.
He buried his face in the pillow, Miya had not even had time to bathe and clean. But the unbearable drowsiness after such a long and exhausting journey, finally made him fall asleep.
................
ALLAHUAKBAR ALLAHUAKBAR
The voice of the Adhan echoed, until it reached into the room. Miya who was sleeping in her sleep suddenly got up. Ouch ... The adhan? Miya rubbed her eyes, trying to look around. He's still in the room alone, you know? Where's Nabila.
ALLAHUAKBAR ALLAHUAKBAR
The Adhan's voice still continued, making Miya focus her attention on that voice. Gawat .. How long have I slept? This is Adzan Dhuhur? Or the Ashar Adhan? Miya then got out of bed and rushed to the bathroom. He quickly took a shower and cleaned himself. Then he just remembered under his suitcase still left in the hall, Nabila had not brought it to the room. As a result, Miya was forced to put on the clothes and Mukenah that she used to pray at dawn and sleep earlier. When he was ready, he went out of the room and went downstairs.
Downstairs he passed Nabila who had just walked out of the hall of the main building.
"Nabi! Come Pray!"
Nabila was so shocked to see Miya. "E-Eh ... Yak! Ouch Forgot! Your suitcase!"
"Let's Lak .. It's okay, this Mukenah is still clean ..."
"For a while .. stay here, I'll take your suitcase first"
Instead of walking towards the mosque with Miya, Nabila turned back to enter the hall. Seeing his friend who refused his invitation, Miya immediately rushed to the mosque.
On the way, Miya again met three santriwati who invited her to meet at dawn. Ira, Dina, and Nina the three of them are roommates. Their room is located on the third floor of the dormitory building. While walking towards the mosque, the four of them then continued their delayed introduction earlier at dawn.
Nina told me they've been here a year. Dina and Nina are more familiar and friendly to Miya, while Ira herself doesn't talk too much. That was because Dina and Nina seemed to also be from the same city as Miya and Nabila. While Ira, like the majority of santriwati here, comes from the villages around this boarding school. In fact, Ira was the son of the Village Chief, this small village.
The four of them then walked past the big tree and headed towards the spacious field. In the Luas field, other santriwati were seen in droves queuing up to take Wudhu.
They called Miya 'Ukhti' because the three of them were much younger. It seems, after graduating from Junior High they instantly 'ponded' here.
"Sama Ukhti Nabila"
"Oh, Ukhti is still Ustadzah Romah's brother?"
"Huh? Meanin?"
"Kan Ukhti Nabila his nephew Ustadzah Romah"
Miya's eyes widened in shock, only the first time she heard this. It turns out that Nabila and Ustadzah who were a little fierce last night, still have a sibling relationship. Nabila could be here. Miya nodded, a sign that she understood exactly what Dina said. Arriving at the Mosque, the four of them rushed to take Wudhu and then performed Dhuhur Prayer. Again, Ustadzah Shinta who accepted the prayer.
After the prayer, Ustadzah Shinta then invited Miya to take the rations that have been prepared. They dined in the dining room on the second floor, the dorm building one. Every day, Miya and other santriwati get three meals a day, namely morning and night. Ustadzah Shinta accompanied Miya to lunch, the two of them talked about many things.
After eating, Ustadzah Shinta took Miya to the study room on the first floor of the dormitory building. Together with other young students, she studied IQRA with another Ustadzah named Retno Ustadzah. Miya had actually been able to read the Quran, a long time ago. But it seems that when he tried to read, he was so rigid that Ustadzah Shinta intended to teach him –by leaving it to Ustadzah Retno-from the beginning. The book IQRA is the basic book in reading the Quran, divided into six levels. Starting from the introduction of Hijaiyah letters to how to read letters per letter.
Despite having to sit in a room with students who are still in the age of SD-SMP, Miya is not ashamed at all. Patiently guided by Ustadzah Retno, he was actually excited in reading the letters, as well as recalling his memories when he was a child. He was always accompanied by his late father and mother. Suddenly her tears returned.
The activities of learning the Quran lasted until the Adhan Ashar reverberated. Compactly, Miya and the rest of the students in the room closed their IQRA books and rushed to the mosque. On the way, Miya again cross paths with Dina, Ira, and Nina. Looks like Ustadzah Shinta taught the three of them in the next class. Ustadzah Shinta is in charge of education in this cottage, along with Ustadzah Retno. While the other Ustadzah (Ustadzah Romah, Ustadzah Imah, Ustadzah Rimah) is the person in charge of the cottage. Strangely enough, although the number of students here is not so much (approximately 40 people) but the number is quite large if only two Ustadzah who teach.
After the Ashar Prayer the teaching and learning activities are resumed until the Adhan Magrib. When the call of the Adhan has been issued automatically all santriwati stop their activities and rush to the Mosque. What a good and commendable religious culture, this makes Miya so happy and peaceful.
It seems that Ustadzah Shinta is the permanent imam of this Mosque every Fardu Prayer (Mandatory prayer five times). Again he led the Jama'ah to the Magrib Prayer. After the Magrib Prayer is completed, all the santriwati remain in the Mosque. The next activity is listening to Tausiyah (Short lecture) from Ustadzah Shinta. According to Dina, sometimes Ustadzah Retno also gave Tausiyah alternately with Ustadzah Shinta, sometimes we also listen to Ira reading the Quran Verse. Ira was very good at reading the Quran in Tartil. All these activities are done to wait for Isya's time. After performing the Isya prayer, all the santriwati left the mosque and returned to their respective rooms. Before entering their rooms, they took their dinner rations in the dining room on the second floor of the dormitory building one, and ended the entire day's activities.
Miya walks along with Dina, Ira, and Nina. After a long day together, Miya becomes familiar with the three people, especially Dina who is so Talkative. Dina who always tells him information about what activities santriwati do in this boarding school. According to Dina, more or less like that activity here: morning until evening study, afternoon listening to Tausiyah to Isya, and ended by the Isha Prayer and they rest every Fardhu Prayer Adhan reverberate.
This first day was so tiring for Miya, many times she stroked her spine. His back was tired once, after a whole day of sitting without leaning. Dina laughs at Miya who is acting like the old man, but she assures that she will gradually get used to all of this. But Nina added that sometimes there are additional activities after Isya, on Islamic big days and certain days, as if to scare. Miya was upset, and the three young sisters laughed so loosely.
After taking the food rations, Miya then say goodbye to the three new friends.
"Ukhti Miya!" exclamation Dina.
Miya who had been a few steps away left them made a look. "Eh? Why Din?"
"Emc ... Ukhti Miya wants to go back alone?"
"Aren't you waiting for Ukhti Nabila?" added Nina.
"Alone, Ukhti Nabila was not seen all day .." replied Miya as she turned, back to face the three young santriwati. Nina's question made Miya aware, Nabila was not seen all day.
"No fear Ukhti ... go there alone?" dina.
Miya chuckled, "Hahaha, who's afraid?"
"Damn it!" ketus Ira's.
