The next morning, Miya was awakened by the noise of Nabila who was changing clothes in front of the closet. He was seen changing his nightgown, then hurried out of the room. Miya yawned, she was still sleepy. With her eyes still dimmed, she turned on her smartphone. Still at 03:00 am, the dawn Adhan has not been heard. What is Nabila about to pray at night? Curiosity overcame her drowsiness, and Miya got up and washed her face. As the water soaked her face, Miya finally woke up completely. He then decided to take the water of Wudhu, and went to the mosque.
The cold instantly pierced Miya's skin as she opened the room door. The same cold weather that greeted Miya when she first came here. But this morning, it's a little cooler than yesterday the day after tomorrow, of course it's still three in the morning. Miya turned around the veranda, there was no one. As soon as he remembered the incident last night, the fur on Miya immediately began to look. He quickly got down and headed to the mosque.
When Miya exited the central field of the cottage, silence immediately greeted her. Just like when he first arrived, there was no one either. I thought there was a night prayer? Miya thought there would be a group of Night Prayers like at dawn. Even so the mosque lights were bright, Miya then ventured to peek.
"Acrasnodity ..."
Miya was shocked, suddenly a female Ustadzah dressed all in black ... Nyi Wati Ustadzah.
"Eh! Wa-waalaikumsalam ... U-Ustadzah Nyi Wati, P-Morning..." Said Miya stammered.
"Want to pray, son?"
Miya confusedly answered Nyi Wati's Ustadzah question. He wanted to pray, but no one seemed to.
"Let's son .. be with me" Ustadzah Nyi Wati invited Miya to Night Prayer together, as if she understood what Miya was doing.
Although a little shy, Miya is actually very happy to be able to worship alone with the founder of the boarding house. He then stepped foot, going to the mosque while Ustadzah Nyi Wati went in the opposite direction, Lho?
Miya turned "Ustadzah!" yells.
But Ustadzah Nyi Wati did not respond, he continued to walk away towards the mosque square. Far to the right of the field, precisely on the right side of the boarding school, stretches a vast forest with its tall trees. The forest to the west, the settlement of villagers to the south, and the boarding area to the north became the limit of the area of the mosque square. Miya even just realized that there is a dense forest there. Perhaps, the forest was a canal of dense and long forest that yesterday the day after they –Miya and Mirna-passed.
Ustadzah Nyi Wati continued to walk towards the forest. Miya kept yelling at him but did not respond, so she decided to follow him. What's he doing? He said he was taking prayers? Kok, instead went towards the forest, muttered Miya astonished. But he felt that he had to follow Ustadzah Nyi Wati, because clearly he had invited him to pray for congregation .... in the forest?
Unknowingly, Miya is now walking away from the existing light sources (Mosque, Pondok pesantren lights, and village house lights), darkness immediately enveloped around her. Miya slightly held back her steps, she hesitated to continue. But Ustadzah Nyi Wati had actually reached the first tree in the forest. Nyi Wati's Ustadzah continued to go inside, until Miya could no longer see her figure. Miya accelerated her pace.
Arriving in the forest, Miya looked to the right and left. He was confused, which direction Ustadzah Nyi Wati passed earlier. There are many small roads between the trees, which enter the forest. Amidst the confusion, suddenly Ustadzah Nyi Wati turned her head from behind the tree.
"Astagfireullah! Ustazdah!" Miya screamed in shock.
Of course he was surprised, suddenly Ustadzah Nyi Wati showed his head looking tilted from behind a tree, as if he was peeping Miya who stood confused from the background. Miya stroked her chest, her heart pounding incoherently.
"U-Ustadzah .. How come here? He said he wanted to pray?" Tanya Miya ventured.
"Through here son .." he said with a smile.
"K-Ke Forest? A Ustadzah?"
Ustadzah Nyi Wati then came out from behind a tree and turned towards the forest, but with his head still tilted. No. The head was not a slanted look, but it was a slanted head! With a firm body, the head was like hanging a broken tree branch. Even the head was touching the shoulder. As Ustadzah Nyi Wati walked, the head swung and the sound of 'cramps' continued to be heard from the base of the folded neck.
Miya instantly froze, she glared in fear. Because the santriwati was not moving, the head was then swung to the back. Until now, the pale face with white eyeballs was staring sharply, with the body that remained behind Miya.
"Come kiddo ... Here!"
He then ran away in a storm. It was the ghost he met yesterday on the dorm stairs!! Miya could hear clearly, the sound of teeth being swiped continuously. As his fear grew, his blood whirred rapidly as he ran. His heart and breath did not fall, making him breathless, but only a few meters ran away from the forest. Then Miya fell to the ground, even though the light from the cottage soon reached her.
Then a hand that was so cold grabbed her shoulder tightly. Miya immediately twitched, she thrashed by kicking the figure who was about to touch it. Then the figure approached the torch he had been holding, making Miya glare at the light of the fire.
"DEMON!! OH, HUH!!! GO!!!"
"Oh my goodness!! Conscious!"
Hearing the voice of a man, Miya instantly fell silent. He then turned his head, looking at the figure of an old man with a fire torch. The old man was wearing a Black round peci with a circular sheath on his right shoulder to his left waist.
"Oh my goodness, son! What are you?!" The impact helped Miya stand up.
Miya was still unable to dispel her fear. He looked back at the forest, trying to determine if the terrible figure was still there, but all he saw was an empty and dark forest. Because the interlocutor did not respond, the old man again railed Miya with questions.
"Why are you going to the forest??"
"E-Emm .. anu .. sir"
"Is it not time to pray at dawn yet?"
Miya was surprised, who was this Old Man? He then carefully observed his white shorts and shabby t-shirts, maybe this Old Man is a villager here. Miya then grew even more embarrassed about not being able to answer Old Man's question.
"Assynnya!!"
Suddenly appeared Ustadzah Shinta from the direction of Pondok pesantren. Ustadzah Shinta was then surprised to see Miya in dirty clothes due to the dust of the ground, talking to an old man.
"Miya Astagfirullah! What's the matter? Mr Kades?"
Miya was again surprised. Ustadzah Shinta called this old man ... Mr Kades?
"Next time take good care of your santriwatimu, Shinta!" Jerk Mr. Kades.
"I-Yes .. good Mr. Kades"
Shinta's Ustadzah half-alternally, took Miya and took her away. The old Mr. Kades continued to stare at the two of them who had gone away from him, with gazes full of anger. Miya who glanced back was even horrified, Mr. Kades was fierce.
"Miya Astagfirullah! What were you doing?"
"E-Emm .. yes ..."
Looking at the worried face of Ustadzah Shinta, Miya was left speechless. He can only apologize without explaining what really happened. Naturally, Ustadzah Shinta could not possibly believe what he had just seen.
