The Ustadzah

The Ustadzah
Recognition

Miya, with a bruised head scarred by the punch of Ustadzah Romah, continues to embrace the fragile body of Ghost Ustadzah Nyi Wati. While constantly trying to calm the raging Nyi Wati. The ghost did not stop and his screams grew louder.

"ROMAH!! HOLY MAN!! AARON!!!"

The scream was so echoed, and was heard to come out of the boarding school. Romah Ustadzah who was running in the forest, was made to fall down when he heard the scream, the screams of his adoptive mother, which he had not heard for decades. After trying to get up he then prostrated while trembling in front of the cave where he usually washed the body of Ustadzah Nyi Wati with formalin with Nabila. Many times he said "sorry sorry", as if he was begging for forgiveness to the mouth of the cave, but of course there was no one there.

Inside the cave, there is a small pond made from the arrangement of cave rocks. The pool water is concentrated formalin, which is routinely replaced by Nabila, in other words, it is the place where they keep the body of Ustadzah Nyi Wati to be preserved. From the calm formalin pool it suddenly burst out a black hooded figure. Drenched, the figure came out of the pool and walked towards the mouth of the cave, as if he welcomed the groaning of Ustadzah Romah who was crying sobbing.

Smelling the stinging smell of formalin, Ustadzah Romah immediately raised his head, and saw the ghostly figure of Ustadzah Nyi Wati already in front of him. The ghost whose neck hung was then grabbed the veil of Ustadzah Romah until his hair was unraveled. The hair was then held and Ustadzah Romah was dragged into the cave. Ustadzah Romah cried loudly to endure the pain for every strand of hair that was interested.

Arriving in the cave, the ghost then hit the head of Ustadzah Romah to the rocks, making his forehead bleed. Ustadzah Romah just grimaced in pain then then crawled up and hugged the ghost's leg.

"Nyi... Forgive Mother.... Romah Guilty... Romah... Ampuuuni Romah Nyi"

The Ustadzah, so violent and cruel, now whines like a child, before the ghost of his adoptive mother, his teacher, and the man who raised him first. And the old man whom he tormented, he sold for the sake of the coffers of alms. It may not come to the mind of Ustadzah Romah that the Ghost that terrorizes his boarding school every time one suro is the ghost of Ustadzah Nyi Wati. Or maybe he realized it but tried to ignore it. And tonight is the end of everything.

The ghost did not break the cry of Ustadzah Romah, he then lifted his whole body and slammed it so hard into the pool. Before it splashed, the head of Ustadzah Romah again hit the rocks. The head of the Evil Ustadzah was crushed immediately, and he eventually died instantly in the formalin pond.

Elsewhere, Ustadzah Ulun and Ustadzah Imah ran out of the boarding house. They both separated from Ustadzah Romah who immediately took the initiative to flee to the forest. At first Ustadzah Imah wanted to go to the village and ask for protection to Pak Kades Ira's father, but a crowd of guest vehicles who, in a hurry, left the mosque grounds made a traffic jam and blocked their way. Then, from the forest where Ustadzah Romah fled suddenly appeared the figure of Ghost Ustadzah Nyi Wati with a hanging neck. Sontak Ustadzah Imah and Ustadzah Ulun ran into the mosque.

With a swift Ustadzah Imah and Ulun shoulder to shoulder close the door of the mosque. Perhaps in their minds, taking refuge in the house of God is the safest way to avoid the ghostly terror, but they are wrong. Even they themselves, who are Ustadzahs, rarely set foot into the mosque to pray. As if their actions had really gotten wrath from Allah SWT, the door of the Mosque they had closed tightly before suddenly opened. The ghost of Ustadzah that they had always avoided, now walked into the mosque approaching them.

Not out of sense, Ustadzah Ulun then immediately turned on the recording of the adhan that is usually played before Prayer. But strangely the recording actually let out the voice of the Ustadzah.

"IMAH!!!! ULUUN!!!!"

"AMPUUUN!!! AMPUUUNN!! Ampuuun ibuu!!! Oh my apologies...!!! Oh, hell!!! I have sinned!!!!" He said while prostrating himself in front of his mother's spirit.

"He only obeyed Romah!! Romah who had the idea to preserve the body of the mother with formalin!! Then present it in front of the guests every night one suro... It was Romahhh's idea..." Reciprocity.

Ustadzah Ulun then followed what his brother had said just now. While crying incessantly, it allowed all that Ustadzah Imah had said just now.

Without them both realizing, the microphone that fell on the floor was lit, so that all the cries of recognition they both broadcast so clearly from the mosque speakers. All the guests of the officials who had still not managed to leave the boarding school, all the students, and all the villagers who heard the sound of the announcement were shocked. Their views all then led to the mosque with a look of disbelief. So all this time, Ustadzah Nyi Wati, which he asked for blessing every year, turned out to be a preserved corpse. All this time they asked for blessing to the corpse... All of them, now understand.

In the pesantren cottage field, the ghost of a buttered head, the original body of Ustadzah Nyi Wati increasingly shouted hysterically after hearing the confession. It made Miya's ears ringing due to the sound of the ghost's scream did not stop, the longer it made a throbbing pain in his head. Again his eyes again twitched as if his consciousness was lost again, Miya almost fainted again. But in the rest of his consciousness, he then shouted a verse, which Ustadzah Nyi Wati had said, when he first received it in this boarding school.

"Bismillahirahmanirahim, He is Most Forgiving to those who repent"

(QS.Al-Area:25)

As soon as the hysterical scream stopped, the hands of the undead then released their heads to the ground. The face of the head then cried, shedding tears of formalin liquid that was so stinging. Seeing this, instead of being horrified, Miya actually grabbed the head of Ustadzah Nyi Wati who was crying, and immediately hugged her. He then cried, as if feeling all the suffering that Ustadzah Nyi Wati had experienced for so many years.

All the santriwati who did not faint witnessed that. Those who have heard what Ustadzah Imah said from the speakers of the Mosque now know what really happened. Ustadzah Nyi Wati, the great teacher and founder of their boarding school, actually died a few years ago. But the three heads of their Ustadzah kept it a secret, and made the scenario as if Ustadzah Nyi Wati was still alive. It is fitting that all santriwati here no one has ever met with Ustadzah Nyi Wati. Ustadzah always confined himself in the room, Ustadzah was sick and unable to teach like before, it turned out everything was a lie.

Among the crowd of santriwati who was looking at Miya was the endadzah Retno, who actually also knew about this terrible reality from a long time ago. He along with Ustadzah Shinta did not dare to fight, they both finally could only obey orders from Ustadzah Romah. Ustadzah Retno then approached Miya in tears, and then hugged the headless body of Ustadzah Nyi Wati, who continued to stand in front of the hall door. From behind, Ustadzah Shinta followed, as did Nabila who had just descended from the second floor, embracing the fragile body. Instantly, all the santriwati followed them, and while crying, they alternately hugged and touched the body of Ustadzah Nyi Wati.

Seeing all the santriwati of his boarding school so sad to see the condition, the cry of the corpse of Ustadzah Nyi Wati became increasingly so. But this time, they were all not afraid, instead they were getting sadder. The dozens of white-hooded women in front of the hall were all grieving, weeping over this terrible reality, a huge lie over the years that was finally revealed.

In the midst of his crying, the headless body of Ustadzah Nyi Wati then collapsed. The stump head that was hugged by Miya was then closed. As if having been sincere with everything that happened, now the corpse of Ustadzah Nyi Wati...
