How surprised Miya, Nabila appeared wearing all black clothes. He then stared blankly at Nabila for a while.
"No papa, Nab" said Miya with a slight sob.
"Tante is very angry with you, yak"
"I am angry why ... What have I done, Nab"
Nabila just kept quiet, he then sat next to Miya and rubbed her head. Nabila looked so sad, this time, he was so considerate. Though usually, he is very indifferent and does not want to be meddled in his affairs. Nabila's strange behavior makes Miya ask again.
"Nab... dong story... What was wrong?"
"Sorry Yak, gabisa cave story. Cave ... emm ... You should understand"
"Understand what?!" Miya slightly raised her tone.
Nabila just kept quiet and stared at Miya's astonishment. "So you don't know?"
"You what?!"
"Emmm.. yaudah if so ..."
Again Nabila seemed to keep something a secret. Actually Miya was so angry, and wanted to vent it, but maybe she was tired. Miya should have been shocked by Nabila's appearance back then. The all-black clothes that were shown when Miya first came to this cottage, along with the stench that always stings. It seems that the smell came from all black clothes that were always hidden in the closet, but this time Nabila showed it in front of Miya. But because of the conversation earlier, Miya was so annoyed with Nabila. Though according to him Nabila is his good friend here, even Nabila is the one who keeps a lot of secrets from him.
Nabila's face again bent sad, showing sympathy. But Miya was indifferent, she was tired of all the secrets of Nabila. For him it was too late, he no longer cared about Nabila who always kept a secret from him. Miya undoes her intention of calling Mirna, reinserting her smartphone into her pocket, and leaves to pass.
....
It went by so fast, it didn't feel like it was night. Today Miya did not enjoy her activities in the cottage at all. Everything he does feels empty, free, after all it is not forgiven. In a sacred place like a boarding school, where he hoped to open a new page, people here even scratched his old wounds. Until the night before, Miya's face continued to be sad.
His face bent even more when he got word from Mirna that he could only pick her up the day after tomorrow. That means, he has to go through one night of suro, tomorrow night, here. Had this village been directly connected to the highway, Miya would have run away since Romah's body snapped at her, No, since the sighting terrorized her.
Miya then came out of the room and was about to go to the mosque following the congregation's Magrib Prayers. Not to forget, he brought the Quran, because tonight Miya had to teach according to the orders of Ustadzah Romah. But strangely enough, no santriwati or Ustadzah went to the mosque. Miya's gaze stared at the horrors of the hut's starting dark field streets. He realized that he was alone at the time.
Moments later, his feelings were a little relieved, as he heard a few footsteps behind him. Looks like other santriwati have started to arrive for prayer. But when he looked back, there was no one. Miya accelerated her pace, but the number of footsteps was increasing. Miya turned back, there was still no one, there was only a big tree of boarding school huts that swayed horribly because of the wind. Miya then ran, and immediately entered the mosque.
Just then, in front of Ustadzah Shinta's room on the second floor of the dormitory building one, an Ustadzah knocked on her bedroom door. When Ustadzah Shinta opened the door, he immediately closed it again. Immediately, Ustadzah Shinta jumped on his bed and tightly closed his eyes and ears while shaking. Ustadzah who dressed all in black, continuously knocked on the door of the room Ustadzah Shinta, until his voice made a noisy Retno Ustadzah whose room is neighboring.
Ustadzah Retno came out and saw, but soon he did the same as Ustadzah Shinta, went back into the room and locked the door tightly. The two Ustadzahs were shrouded in fear for every knock on the door he heard.
Then, some Santriwati who was on that floor came out of her room. Of course they want to perform Magrib Prayer in the Mosque. As they were about to cross in front of the room of Ustadzah Shinta, the continuously knocking Ustadzah glanced at them. His old hand pointed, ordering each of them to go back into the room. Santriwati-santriwati was confused, but one of the santri seemed to tell his friends to just obey, because he knew who the Ustadzah was.
This incident, simultaneously, seems to have happened in front of Nabila's room as well. He who had just woken up from a nap, was surprised by the appearance of a black-clothed Ustadzah who knocked on his door. Nabila's expression was no less frightened, he had shouted hysterically before locking the door of his room. Santriwati-santriwati who came out of their room in the two-story second dormitory building, and who had just stepped down from the third floor, all returned to their rooms after being evicted by the Ustadzah. The sisters also seemed to recognize who the Ustadzah was, though they were doubtful. Therefore they could only obey and return to their respective rooms.
In addition to the rooms of Ustadzah Shinta and Nabila, the Ustadzah appears in front of the rooms of every other Ustadzah. They were certainly scared to death, except for Ustadzah Romah who was not in his room at the time. Santriwati, who passed by the old Ustadzah, were all thrown back into their rooms. They did not realize that the Ustadzah appeared in many places simultaneously. Perhaps it was the dozens of mysterious footsteps that Miya heard earlier.
Returning to Miya who was already in the Mosque, he was certainly astonished why no one came to Pray Magrib. As the day approached Isya, he then took the initiative to turn on the Adhan recording which is usually played by Ustadzah Shinta.
The sound of the Adhan echoed in every building of the cottage. The figures of the Ustadzah Ghosts who heard the Adhan immediately turned towards the Mosque. Then they roared, like a wolf, their faces turning deathly pale. They all gathered in the middle of the field, and merged into one monstrous figure wearing all-black clothes. And when the face of the old Ustadzah had completely turned terrible, his neck was broken and hung up his head. While stumbling he walked out of the hut, approaching the sound of Adhan reverberating, he,
Because no one came to Pray Magrib, Miya then Pray alone. He then took ablution in a bit of a hurry. At that time the atmosphere in the front field of the hut was indeed so quiet, cold air blew into Miya's skin that was already wet with Wudhu water, making her even more frightened.
Soon Miya entered the mosque and established Salat. When the takbir he was leaning on and continued with the recitation of Surat Al-Fatihah, suddenly someone patted his shoulder. Miya tried to glance, at a glance she saw a woman who was holding both hands to worship, apparently she wanted to pray. Later, Miya hardened her prayer recitation and became a priest for the woman. They both then performed the Maghrib Prayer.
Miya was so calm, as it turned out that someone accompanied her to Salat. But when the prayer ended and he was about to look back, how surprised Miya was.
"Nyi Wati's Ustadzah! Astagfirullah!" Miya immediately prostrated herself and kissed her hand "Assalamualaikum Ustadzah!"
"Waalaikum Salam, Nak Miya ..." Replied Ustadzah Nyi Wati with a smile
Miya certainly not very tasty, because it should be Ustadzah Nyi Wati who became the Imam of Salat. But Ustadzah Nyi Wati did not care about it, he seemed to smile while stroking Miya's veil.
Miya, who was so filled with the attitude of Ustadzah Nyi Wati immediately evaporated her emotions. He wept and hugged the old Ustadzah. Miya then recounted the ill-treatment of her uncle Ustadzah Romah.
Hearing Miya's story, Ustadzah Nyi Wati's face bent sadly.
"Son Miyah ... Don't Go .." he said softly.
