The Undead Knight's

The Undead Knight's
Black Mapple Forest, Part 2.2

The Valkyrie Chief Sera and Prince Rainhart finally entered together into the Black Mapple Forest.

Without any worry, they simply walked along the path that went somewhere. Along the path of the forest it seemed crowded with vegetation that grew high. The more it goes in the darker the atmosphere.

There were 2 rumors from the mouth of the Forest Guard that were said as Rainhart watched from the top of the tower. . .

The first one of the paths there led to the Druid Grandpa's house living in the middle of the forest, but to find it only the grandfather decided to want to meet the person or not.

Rainhart thought that no matter what, she should meet with the Grandfather so that he could help her find her way to the foot of the border mountain.

"Neh Deputy Commander. . ."

Sera stopped suddenly, feeling like there was a pair of eyes watching them yet she could not guess the location.

"Yes Sera, the haw is getting clearer. Although I already used Mana Zone detection magic, but this time I was completely unable to track it."

"Is it just my feeling? at first glance I felt 1 more faint presence because the movement was very fast from the other side of the forest, but only for a second he entered into my Mana Zone, he directly exited the detection magic area like he could see it. There's no way Isabella or the other Elite Knights, considering that I've ordered them to keep an eye on the camp and the forest."

His sweat fell from his cheeks, feeling not only being watched from within the forest but from behind as well like something was moving towards them.

"Nyahahaha~ Deputy Commander, you better not be too far away from me."

The sentence that Sera spoke was opposite to her behavior that could not help but chase the butterfly away from her Deputy Commander.

"Nyahahaha~ nyahahaha~"

He laughed with satisfaction as if he were in butterfly heaven, surrounded by hundreds of insects.

"So that's well rumor both. . ."

His words recalled the sentence of the Forest Guard, who said if someone can find a tree surrounded by butterflies, then 1 full day he will be lucky.

"Hey Sera!"

Rainhart ran after Sera who was chasing one of the butterflies away from her tree nest.

"From the many butterflies why even that's what you're after Sera !"

Thought Rainhart after taking a close look at the butterfly that Sera chased another from the other. The butterfly gave off a bright blue light.

The butterfly flew freely, but strangely every road the insect walked by did not have any tall grass or bushes, feeling like their guide in the darkness.

Not only the shape but the movement of the butterfly was other than usual, even Sera and herself were unable to reduce the distance. As their distance to the butterfly grew wider, the insect flew high very quickly towards a very large tree and then disappeared into the mingle with its leaves.

Instantly Rainhart stopped, watching the surroundings. Black Mapple Forest includes a flat forest with a topography that is not hilly, such a large tree should be easily visible from the watchtower.

"Sera! YOAH!!!"

Rainhart tried to summon Sera, after her boisterous laughter vanished along with her sudden presence.

He casts his detection magic again but does not find Sera. He tried not to panic, he knew his Chief Valkryie had very keen senses, but considering his age-appropriate manner of behavior made him even more worried.

"Mayhaha. . ."

His laughter sounded resigned, he really did not know where he was. "Is this one of that luck ?" he thought sarcastic about the words of the Forest Guard.

His panic haunts him, imagining what Commander Gerald's wrath would be like if he knew his beloved daughter was unknown.

He again thought if this was the work of the Druid Grandpa who received it, of course Sera would not be made why-why.

He heard the sound of a sword coming from the direction of the great tree and then followed it. . .

[While it was Sera. . . . .]

Regardless of the orders of her Deputy Commandant who told her to rest, Isabella returned to her position near the watchtower, watching the surroundings.

There was a cry from within the forest, moving at high speed towards him.

"Se. .Sera?!"

"Huwwaaa. . huwwaaaa!!"

Hugging Isabella full of tears. . .

"What happened to Sera?"

His low tone tried to calm Sera down. Sera wiped a cry on her chest that was still in the process of growth, on the protective clothes that she modified made of skin in order to increase the acceleration of her movements.

Her crying is getting worse.

Sera's cries were heard all the way to the temporary camp. Some troops from the camp rushed to where the two of them were, but they immediately turned back after seeing Isabella who was probably disciplining Sera as usual.

"Relax Sera. . Stop that cry, do you want to make the exhausted knights panic all?"

He whispered into the ears of Sera's cat.

After seeing some knights still observing the two, he was forced to issue one of the Ultimate Killer Cat Grief Techniques, which was blowing feathers in his ear hole.

"Yes!!!"

Sera's cat's tail stretched straight standing up.

At first glance Isabella's lens reflects sunlight. . .

he continued the combination of the next Ultimate Technique, by stroking quickly the tail of Sera.

"Nyahahaha~"

It felt very amused on his tail, making him laugh even though his tears were still flowing slightly.

Isabella did not see Sera as the Valkyrie Chief with her fearsome Beast Race ability, but she stroked her hair gently as an ordinary girl.

Sera stopped her crying, remembering Isabella always stroked her hair if she did something wrong or not according to her position.

She had always felt Isabella was better suited as the Chairman of the Valkyrie than she was, but Isabella had always rejected her on the grounds that the position would interfere with her main duties as the royal family's bodyguard.

All the knight troops know what Sera's true abilities are, it's Sera herself who is unaware of her abilities. Without the intervention of his father as the Commander of the Royal Knights, all the knights voluntarily accepted Sera holding one of the high positions, as the Chief of the Valkyrie.

"Can you tell Sera what happened to you and the Deputy Commander?"

He asked after Sera took off her embrace.

"I'm fwuss.. chasing the butterfly waw.. The strange butterfly is zabumm.. and fwah.. I came back not far from the rock of the cat..."

The explanation with his movements was very funny in Isabella's eyes.

"So you and the Deputy Commander went into the forest, and there were butterflies shining and you chased after them. Hmm. . . means the Deputy Commander who followed you from behind is trying to chase you. But the butterfly suddenly disappeared.

Strange. . .

If the butterfly really disappeared you should still be close to the Deputy Commander. So reasonable logic is that there's some kind of active portal magic that moves your position near the Anti-Mana Stone when the butterfly disappears. If your position is not too far away when transferred, the Vice Commander's detection magic should be able to easily track you, meaning that he was moved deep into the forest. . .

Frantic with your situation you try to look for it for a while, but with your sense of smell you simply cannot know the position of the Deputy Commander, meaning that there is some sort of protective mana active around the Deputy Commander. . .

Finally you decided to go back to see me, Chairman Sera's smart choice!"

He said his lengthy explanation casually even added to the conclusion of Sera's bizarre explanation and was only half of what happened.

"You smarter Isabella can tell in detail from Chairman Sera's strange explanation."

Once all the thoughts of the knights around them, amazed watching the two of them.

The information about the rumors of a witch who lived in the forest, first reached Isabella's ears rather than Rainhart.

Isabella thinks that maybe the Druid Grandpa who lives there is the perpetrator for the incident experienced by Sera and her Deputy Commander.

Tired and tired of hearing Isabella's long explanation made Sera fall asleep in Isabella's arms.

Isabella analyzes all the possibilities that will happen. . .

"If Grandpa Druid's intention to meet with the Deputy Commander should he not have to bother expelling Sera. There is a possibility that he has been watching from a distance both, he considered Sera is not the right person to be invited to a serious discussion. . .

If teleportation magic and Mana Barrier were really from the grandfather, he was no ordinary druid magician. I think it's useless to go into the forest if they're surrounded by barriers that can change what should look like to be an illusion."

He could not shout considering Sera sleeping in his arms, with a gesture Isabella called Valkryie troops closest to her who were observing the diritadi.

Isabella recounted the situation that Deputy Commander Rainhart had experienced to her. . .

"Please alert all the armies of knights capable of using the Gift of the God Asclepius and the Gift of the Goddess Artemis, and relay that message to the Chief Paladin who might be in the Guild.

If the sun has set, prepare yourself for the worst."

Isabella prayed to her god, Goddess Artemis and God Atheros that her Deputy Commandery would be fine. Then drove Sera who was asleep on her back to the camp to rest properly.
