Arges did not answer a word. He just kept holding the glass I gave him. What is he thinking right now?

Not far away I walked away from Arges, he finally ventured to call my name.

“Yasmine..” Arges sound raucous.

“Ya?” answered doubt.

“It's nice to see you again.”

I was silent for a moment, confused as to what to answer.

“I also.” answer me again.

“Hahahaha” his laughter sounded discordant

“Everything feels very foreign, more foreign than before we knew it first.” Further.

His brown eyes looked at me sharply. As if forcing me to go inside and witness the many memories that are still stored in it. I'm unmoving. Trying to take my eyes off her growing gaze was like tearing my heart apart.

“I'm sorry.” he said limp, now he's bowing his head.

“Arges...” I don't know why my heart has become so disfigured, my brain can't think clearly.

Arges put the glass I gave him, he didn't even drink it. He passed past me who was now like a statue, only to be silent and not even able to say - another word. My mouth feels locked. True what Arges said earlier, everything became very foreign. I knew that he was trying to act as usual from the beginning of meeting at the station earlier, but I was too awkward to respond to everything.

I sat in the tv room with three novel books that I just bought a few days ago, Rudy who helped choose the latest and exciting novels. He knows my taste.

I deliberately brought these novels into the tv room because I saw Arges sitting there, he was busy with his cell phone. I wanted to offer this novel to read together, it just so happened that the novel I just bought was in English, so Arges could follow suit, I thought.

“Hey ..” my handkerchief.

“Ya?“ His reply was like a little surprised when he saw me appear all of a sudden.

“You still like to read novels?” my right hand showed me the three books I deliberately brought.

“It seems so” he tried to reach the novel in my hand and took one of the novels with a light blue cover with the words “Lost Love” in front of him.

“You've read it?” ask her.

“Not yet, but Rudy said the novel was very nice and heart touching, so I bought it” I replied smoothly.

“Who? Rudy?” Arges repeated the name I mentioned earlier.

“Aah..Rudy my friend” replied I was nervous.

Arges did not answer me, he immediately opened the page of the novel. In just a few seconds, she was already busy reading Lost Love.

My heart is increasingly uncertain, how can I let go of calling Rudy's name in front of Arges. I know he's my ex-husband, but still I feel bad about mentioning another man's name. Aaah .. why did it become like this? I aim to eliminate the awkwardness between me and Arges, but this I'm actually making things worse. I tried to keep myself busy by pretending to read the novel I brought earlier. Although I don't know what this novel is about because I didn't read it, my mind is still troubled by what just happened.

Drrrttt...drrrttt... The phone I keep on the desk vibrates, Rudy? In a hurry I grabbed my phone and got off the couch, I walked to the kitchen and answered a call from Rudy.

“Halo” answer.

“Hey, am I interrupting?” ask Rudy across the phone.

“Not” I replied slowly.

“I'm just worried because you suddenly left the library in a hurry. What's up?” ask her curious.

I'm guessing Rudy asked this. I didn't even get to tell you that Sarah and Arges were coming to my place.

“Aah..iyaa, sorry I haven't had time to tell you. Last afternoon Sarah called me that she was already at the station and asked me to pick her up there.” I replied.

“Sarah's cousin Arges ex-husband?” ask Rudy.

“Hmm.urat” I replied carefully.

“Did Arges also come here?” asked Rudy as if he could figure out the situation in my current home.

I don't know why it's so hard to answer this. Why do I feel like I want to keep Rudy feeling. I don't want him to get hurt from hearing that Arges is in my house right now.

I'm speechless.
