Chapter 53_Torturing the Heart

The wall clock has shown at 02.48 but the eyes of the Star have not been closed. His heart still beats to this day. He had drunk water several times to restore his heart rate as before but still could not, spending a few glasses just making himself back and forth in a small room. He took his cell phone and looked for the message he got this evening. He keeps his contacts and then checks his profile picture, he wishes there was a picture of Aaron there but what appears is a picture of a shiny electric guitar.

"You haven't slept?" the message he received immediately when opening Aaron's profile. The star turned its lips. Aaron certainly knows he's online because of this clever app.

"You haven't slept yet" the Star replied.

"I'm thinking about you" Aaron replied quickly. Star's cheeks became flushed reading Aaron's reply, the corners of his lips twitching withstanding the unstoppable smile on his lips. He did not know what to reply, until his phone again received a message from Aaron.

"Why aren't you asleep? Are you thinking about me too?" The little laughing star read this message.

"I already have a boyfriend and that means you can't think of me, obviously?" reply Stars.

"This is my thought, it has nothing to do with your boyfriend. Clear?" aaron's reply that made the Star speechless again. He thought of a reply but he did not find the sentence he wanted to write, until he fell asleep on his own.

_The morning after the shower. The star immediately polished his face lightly then immediately ran small and put on his work boots. He woke up late this morning.

"Surprise.." Someone was standing at the door. The star smiled at him and someone immediately hugged him for a while.

"You're home yet? How was your trip this time?" ask the stars while walking to his yard. Someone quickly opened the car door for him.

"I came home in the early hours of the morning" replied the man and immediately closed the car door.

The car is traveling at medium speed. The star checked his phone and Aaron's name was at the top of the list of friends who were texting him. The star let the message go and chose to open the message of his friends.

"Babe, did you stay up last night?" ask someone while looking at the Star with anxiety. Getting the question the star immediately turned its head.

"I just couldn't sleep last night" he replied.

"Huffff," she blew her bangs softly.

"Haha, that makes you even more funny," he commented with a small laugh. The star turned and looked at him sharply.

"You're taunting me?"

"Hmmmm. No, you're the most beautiful baby," she rubbed the Star's cheek gently.

"Ck, you're the best at seducing me Keenan," Star punched Keenan's shoulder softly. Keenan smiled and refocused on the steering wheel.

It is not easy to get the heart of a star. Keenan had to fight tenaciously. They met at an event held by Bintang's uncle. They get acquainted there and it turns out Keenan is the son of the President of the company where Bintang works, that means... Keenan is the boss. Good relations between the two families gave Keenan support. To be honest at the time the Star hesitated to accept Keenan's expression of love for her yet what a harm it was to try, trying to melt a frozen heart, trying to revive a long-dead heart. The person he was waiting for had not even any news at all, whether he was alive or dead, no one knew. Someone who even wants him to find another man and live happily. So then.... The stars tried it.

Keenan treats it well, gradually the Stars begin to really bury the old story during High School. A story that he would slowly erase and completely forget about. But now, he came back, stirring the innermost heart of the Star.

"Honey, I have a meeting outside this morning, we meet later at lunchtime, okay," Keenan said after stopping his car at the main building door.

"Well, you be careful" replied the Star and opened the car door. But his arm was held back by the gentle touch of Keenan's hand. The stars looked at him and looked at him.

"I love you," Keenan brought himself closer and kissed the Star's hair.

"Too..," replied the Star while showing off her smile. Then, the Star immediately got out of the car.

"See you later this afternoon dear," said Keenan waving his hand.
