He simply left, leaving behind a letter that his recipients considered ridiculous, asking to take it as twilight and forget about their togetherness.
The man who once left her with a letter told her to find another man and live happily. That man made himself feel that his world was gloomier than a cloudy cloudy one. The man who made her think she didn't deserve to be happy. Men who do not want to be waited for and do not want to be remembered.
The man was standing under the street lamp, the yellow rays of the street lamp made him sparkle in the middle of the night. His hand went into his jacket pocket, hiding the coldness in his hand. His gaze stared straight ahead, the group of his eyes he did not permit to blink, his heart began to beat.
Someone stood far away, stopped his steps and looked at the man with mixed emotions. They stared at each other from a considerable distance.
The girl looked at the man standing under the light.
"She's.that's right she is," her inner self.
Although from a considerable distance but the girl recognized him, although eight years he had never met her but the girl knew that the man was her, Aaron.
The girl stepped her foot, just one step ago doubt crept in her. He tried to understand the situation and in the end he abandoned his intention to step back. He turned and turned, holding his painful heart and even his heart was pounding. He immediately walked to get away, he quickened his pace.
Seeing the girl move away, Aaron immediately ran after her. Chasing him who walks down.
The girl jumped in shock when suddenly someone hugged her from behind. But he soon realized, if this someone is Aaron. He closed his eyes, holding something raging in his head.
"Why turn?" said Aaron, still holding him. He felt that the girl in his arms was very petite. Did eight years not make it grow? The corners of her lips twitched holding back her smile, her heart was flooded with happiness and gratitude for being able to meet the girl she had longed for these eight years.
"I miss you Cinderella" she whispered in the ear. Cinderella.
Shut up, the stars remain silent. The night breeze was very cold with the remnants of the rain that had just subsided a few hours ago. Aaron's hug made him warmer.
"Hey... Why are you quiet? Don't you miss me? Hmm?" whispered again in the ears of the Star, his smooth breath that hit the right cheek of the Star felt very warm. The star bit his lower lip, his heart pumping faster and faster.
'The miss? He asked for his miss? Why is he still as selfish as he used to be. A miss? A longing that I slowly forget.'
Aaron let go of his embrace. He twisted the Star's body until it faced him. The star lowered its head.
"Hey, why are you looking down?" aaron's hand stalled and grabbed both Star hands. Grip it warmly. "Why are you hiding your face? Hm? Are you afraid I don't like you anymore because surely your face has a lot of wrinkles. Right?" aaron said with his bully tone. Hearing Aaron's words, Star began to react, slowly raising her face and looking at Aaron.
"Hey, I'm only twenty-four years old and there are no wrinkles on my face, okay," the sound of the Star breaking the night began to silence. Aaron smiled happily as the stars finally made their sound.
"Oh, really? Let me see, I can't believe it if I don't see it for myself" Aaron took off his hand. Then, slowly, he lifted the chin of the Star with his fine fingers. He looks so serious about checking the face of the girl he missed so much for eight years. Star chin, right cheek, left cheek, nose, forehead, then eyes. The pair of eyeballs meet, greeting each other in silence. His heart felt extremely bitter with the breeze of the night trying to sense his presence again.
Star Eyes were hot and with a blink of her eyelids filled with tears, her nose was flushed red, then slowly the tears fell on her cheeks. Aaron removed it immediately. He sadly looked at the beautiful face of the girl who was still in his heart.
"Don't cry, please," her voice lightly rubbed the Star's cheek.
"I hate you Aaron," the fastest star voices. He bit his lips, holding back the mixed and complicated emotions in his heart.
"Yes I know," replied Aaron slowly.
Aaron took hold of the Star's hand, then he raised the Star's face, looking into his eyes with the love he had kept for eight years. He lowered his head and kissed the lips of the Star gently, as soft as ice cream. Their hearts are getting bigger. The star wanted to reject him but his heart said otherwise, it turned out that longing was still in his heart until now. But then, the Star remembered something. He immediately pushed Aaron and rubbed his lips.
"Aaron, I have a boyfriend now" he said slowly. He looked at Aaron who slowly removed the smile on his face.
"I'm sorry" said Aaron samar. Their eyes still meet. But Aaron looked at him with a different view, he seemed to have lost something very valuable in his life. Silence.the atmosphere turned very awkward.
"It's late" Aaron saw the clock at his hand. Stars nodded. "I'll take you home" Aaron approached the Star and grabbed his hand. No rejection, Star let Aaron clutch his fingers.
"Are you still running?" ask Aaron. But he did not wait for the answer from the Stars. Yes or no, there is no influence on it. He immediately pulled the Star and took it running, the Star following his foot swing.
Eight years ago they did this. Running together and holding hands. Eight years ago Aaron felt that he was the prince who would always save Cinderella before her magic changed. But it turns out he was a loser who left the Stars and asked the Stars to forget about him, it's not wrong if the Stars finally have a girlfriend now.
"Hey, do you know my address? I don't live there now?" the half-screaming star. It instantly stopped Aaron's footsteps. Aah..fuck, said Aaron inwardly. The star held back a smile and pulled his hand from Aaron's grasp.
"I'll drive you, '" Aaron again grabbed the Star's hand and took her to the car. "Say your address," Aaron started his car engine and entered the address that the Star mentioned in his GPS. Slowly, he runs his car.
"When did you go back to Indonesia?" The star starts after they are silent for a few minutes.
"So early in the morning," Aaron answered briefly and focused on the streets that were starting to relax. Stars nodded.
They went back to silence, silent with all the incomprehensible feelings. The star played his fingers, to be honest he was feeling very nervous at the moment. He glanced at Aaron several times who was focused on driving. It still feels like a dream for him, eight years is not a short time. Until he really felt giving up on his expectations and opened the curtain of his heart that was previously closed because of the man who was next to him now. At the same time he came back, carrying a nostalgic parcel that now felt complicated.
Aaron glanced at the restless-looking Star, looking at the Star fingers. He was eager to hold the fingers but hesitated, the words of the Star kept on recalling in his ears.
'I've got a girlfriend' Aaron shook his head slowly, trying to deny the reality he had just heard from the Star's own mouth.
Aaron's car is parked in front of a minimalist house, measuring 54-60.
"You live here?" tanyanya after paying attention to the house in front. Stars nodded. "Why choose such a small place to live? It's even smaller than where you used to live" he continued.
"I live alone. Type 54 homes are the most ideal. You know, I'm a coward" Bintang explains why he chose the type 54 minimalist house. "Thank you for driving me, Aaron," he said, opening the car door.
"Good night Star" Aaron said before the Star actually got out of his car. Making the Stars look back at him and nod.
"Good night, Aaron," he answered and got out of the car.
