21. Kenji Towards the West

"I'll be waiting for you outside. Come inside. Don't waste your precious time" Leon said in a low tone.

Elena, Sofia, Rama, and Zane go inside the villa while Leon and Kenji chat.

Elena, Sofia, and Rama are amazed by the luxurious interior design of the villa. In addition, all of these tools are available of all kinds. Really impressive. Derri is really wise.

Kenji goes into the villa.

Sofia quickly asked him, "Kenji, what is your job? So many important people attended your wedding and gave you such a wonderful gift."

Elena and Rama were also curious about it.

Just then, Elena looked at the blood on the right arm of her suit and asked in surprise, "What happened to your arm?"

"That's a gunshot wound," Kenji had to tell the truth now.

"Because I don't want to disappoint you again. Besides, I was the one who held my words," said Kenji.He was deeply moved and cried. He did not know he would endure such suffering just to keep his promise.

Then she recalled how she was covered in sweat when she held her arm at the wedding. Now he knew he was not feared by the enemy but for enduring the pain in his arm.

"I'm fine, it's just a gunshot wound. Don't cry" Kenji tried to comfort her.

She did not answer but stood on her tiptoes to kiss her lips.

Kenji was stunned as he felt Elena's soft sweet lips.

Before Kenji could kiss her back, Elena retreated.

"You... How could you do that? At least you should give me time to kiss you back" Kenji licked his lips to enjoy the kiss.

This was the most intimate thing they had ever done during their three years of marriage.

Elena tried to hide the hue of her burning face. He didn't know he was going to do that either. He was too touched to think.

"It's our bridal night. How about we do it again?" Kenji gave me advice.

"Keep dreaming! It won't happen again" Elena said shyly.

Sofia was looking around the house when she saw the couple and asked in shock, "Are you done? Kenji, this is too soon."

Elena blushed, her face flushed red and asked, "Mom, what are you talking about? Too soon? I was just chatting with him."

"I will go to the West to fight. Please be nice to each other while I'm gone" Kenji said.

"good. I just picked a room for myself. I'll move tomorrow" Sofia said.

"Yes, prepare yourself" said Kenji.

Then Kenji said to Zane, "Dad, I'm leaving. Please take care of yourself and please take care of Elena."

"Okay, I'll take you out." Zane is also a soldier. He knew Kenji had to leave to fulfill his duty to the country.

"Good." Then Kenji and Zane leave the villa. Elena followed them.

"I'm worried about those cowards" joked Kenji.

Leon sees Kenji walking towards her and apologizes, "I'm sorry, General Ken, for taking you to the war zone the night of your wedding."

A guard quickly opened the car door for Kenji.

As Kenji enters the military jeep, Norman and Leon enter.

The male escort and the female escort ride in another car. Then the brigade went to its destination.

Elena and Zane saw them off at the gate of the villa. Only then did Elena realize how much she would lose when she left. His eyes were foggy again.

When the jeep disappeared into the darkness of the night, Zane said, "Elena, it's windy here. Go back to the house."
