CHAPTER 53. Relinquish

Flashback at Mama Eri's house

At one o'clock in the afternoon God's car just entered the gate of his parents' house. After parking the car well, Dewa immediately went down, entered the house with a mind filled with curiosity because his mother suddenly called and told him to come as soon as possible.

"Assalamualaikum," said the Lord knocking on the main door.

"Waalaikum greetings, Bi Leha replied, ART Mama Eri hurriedly came out to open the door.

"Where's Bi?" ask the god after the door opens.

"Mother is resting in the same room Mr. Mas,"

The god nodded his head before stepping his foot into Mama Eri's room.

Tok tok tok, God knocking on the door of the room.

The door of the room opened, a man with glasses opened the door.

"Have you come yet, Wa?" Said Mr. Ghani the father of God.

"Where's Pa?" ask God.

"Your mother is inside" said Mr. Gani again to invite the God In.

The god immediately stepped his foot into the room, approaching his mother who was sitting leaning on the bed.

"What's wrong Ma? why did you suddenly call me here?" ask God while sitting on the bed in front of Mama Eri.

"How are you doing with Dara?" mama Eri asked, staring at the god.

The god fell silent, momentarily thinking of the answer to his mother's question.

"Why are you silent Wa?" ask Mama Eri again.

"We're fine Ma," replied the God lying.

"Why is Dara never here again?" mama Eri asked a little annoyed by the lies of God.

"Yes.. because..." The confused god had to answer what.

"Because Dara's married?" Cut Mama Eri.

"Where do you know that from?" asked the surprised God looking at Mama Eri.

"Until when are you gonna lie to Mama Wa?"

"I had no intention of lying to Mama" said the Lord turning his gaze straight ahead.

"Whatever you mean, in fact you've been lying to Mama." Mama Eri was getting upset.

"Do you still love her?" timpal Pak Ghani is sitting at Mama Eri's dresser.

The god directed his gaze towards Pak Gani, looking at him fixedly without answering his Papa's question.

"It seems Papa knows the reason God hid it from us Ma" said Pak Ghani staring at Mama Eri.

"He's still expecting Dara." Said Mr. Ghani again staring at the God.

"Is that true Wa?" ask Mama Eri to make sure.

The god only nodded his head slowly before turning his gaze straight ahead.

"How can you expect a Wa man's wife?"

"He's my lover Ma" said the Lord looking at Mama Eri.

"He's the wife of the Wa man! he's married, you're grown up now, you should be able to understand what marriage is." Mama Eri stared at the God.

"Sin is Wa..sin...." Mama Eri said she could not resist the flow of tears .

"I just want to take my girlfriend that Erfan Ma has taken, am I wrong?"

"Wrong." Said mama Eri firmly staring at the God.

"Did Mama raise you just to be somebody's wife's usurper?"

"I love her Ma" said the Lord.

"You're just acting in love to defend your obsession Wa!" said Mr. Ghani.

"How could Papa tell me I'm just obsessed? Does Papa know what it's like to be betrayed by Pa? Ma?" the Lord looked at his parents in turn.

It hurts Ma, it hurts so much" said the God staring at Mama Eri.

"How can he get married when our relationship is okay Ma? when I loved her so much, and because of that love I could forgive her, she promised to get divorced after a year of marriage, but what now? what happens is that they love each other, Dara forgets me and my pain, forgets all the promises that ever come out of her mouth." The Lord is sad.

Dewa tells all his problems with Dara, how Dara betrayed him, including Dara's promises about the marriage agreement which turned out to be only a lie.

Mama Eri who listened to the story of the God is increasingly powerless to hold back tears, her heart feels pain, as if she also felt the pain felt by her son.

"I have to how's Ma?" ask God with teary eyes.

"You should be happy Wa, even without him." Mama Eri said, touching the hand of God.

"Dara's welcome," said Mama Eri again stroked her child's cheek gently.

"The time that will heal your feelings Wa, Papa knows it is heavy, but Dara is not your soul mate, you must be able to accept that," Timpal Pak Ghani.

"Can Mama give up Ma? didn't Mama expect Dara to be the daughter-in-law of the family?" said the Lord looking at Mama Eri.

Mama Eri shook her head slowly, "Mama only expects your happiness Wa," said Mama Eri staring fixed bead in her son's eyes.

After establishing the heart to learn and try to let the woman he loves live a happy life, God immediately stepped into the high building where Dara worked under the leadership of her husband.

"I have an appointment with Erfan Pratama." Say God while in front of the receptionist table.

"With the Father of God?" ask Sinta politely.

"Yes" answered the God.

"Please sir, I'll drop Mr. Erfan off." Sinta said before stepping her feet to take God to Erfan's room.

"Isn't he the guy I used to think Dara's boyfriend was?" Inner Sinta recalled the time when the God shouted about the struggle of love to Dara.

"Ah, it's none of my business." Sinta's mind again kept his feet.

"Ra, Mr. Erfan's guest has arrived." Say Sinta when you get to Dara's table.

Dara who was busy making reports on her computer screen immediately turned her eyes to look at Sinta. "Thank you Shin." Said Dara standing up from her seat.

Shinta nodded her head, before stepping her legs back into the loby.

"How are you doing Wa?" tanya Dara was still standing staring at the God.

"Can we go in now?" the Lord tried to control his feelings.

Dara nodded her head, "Let's go in Wa" Dara said before stepping into Erfan's room.

"Mas, God has come" said Dara while in front of Erfan's table.

Erfan turned his gaze to look at the God standing beside Dara. "Have him sit down, Ra," Erfan said flatly staring back at his laptop screen.

"Is that how you treat guests?" the Lord said, before stepping his feet to sit on the sofa.

Dara sighed looking at her husband before following the steps of the Gods towards the sofa.

"What do you want to talk about with me Wa?" asked Dara after sitting on the sofa next to Erfan.

"Can you shift your body a little, Ra? you're sitting too close." Erfan protested when he saw God and Dara sitting just one meter and a half away.

Dara sighed again before moving to the round sofa that was further away from the Gods seat.

"Is that jealous you're the same as me Fan?" the mock God looked at Erfan who was still sitting in his seat of greatness.

"Did you come here just to find me because of Wa?" said Erfan cynical.

"What do you want to talk to me about Wa? ask Dara again to stop the quarrel between God and her husband.

God stared fixed bead Dara's eyes, trying to strengthen her heart to learn to let go of the woman who had been loved five years.

"Let down your eyes, don't look at my wife like that." Erfan protested again feeling dislike for the gaze of the Gods.

"Can you just be quiet for a minute?" said the Lord was upset looking at Erfan.

"Mass.." said Dara shaking her head slowly turning towards Erfan.

Erfan only sighed looking at Dara before leaning his back against the seat back. "OK continue." Erfan flat speech.

"Are you happy Ra is living with him?" ask God to start a conversation.

Dara nodded her head slowly, "I'm happy Wa."

The god closed his eyes for a moment, "Do I still have a chance to fight for you Ra?"

Dara shook her head slowly, "Don't fight for a woman like me Wa, I don't deserve your struggle" Dara said with teary eyes.

"Do you love her Ra?" asked the God again to endure the pain that spread in his heart.

Dara nodded her head again, "Yes" said Dara Lirih.

God nodded his head slowly to understand, "I love you Ra, I will let you be happy, I will learn to forget you." said the God with slightly watery eyes staring at Dara.

"Can we still be friends with Wa?" She looked at the God.

"No way," said Erfan cut Dara's talk.

"Do not grow your feelings again just for reasons of friendship" said Erfan firmly.

"Your question has been answered with him Ra, my heart is still not strong enough to accept your company." The Lord looked at Dara.
