Chapter 61

Hearing Siska's insult to Laras made Fian directly slap Siska hard. Ardi who had been yelling at Siska immediately fell silent when he saw Fian slap Siska so hard. Everyone who was there seemed to be in disbelief that Fian could act so rudely to Siska an older sister who had taken care of him since childhood.  

"I kept quiet because I felt you were the big brother I should always respect, and ever since I was older you've been taking care of me even when our parents died you've been watching me, and now I've been forced to slap you because your mouth turns out to be more rotten than a piece of trash," fian said as he looked at Siska with a disappointed look.  

"That's because you've been blinded by love, love for the wrong woman!" snapped Siska while shouting as Fian walked out of his house. 

"I hope this is the last time you interrupt the lives of Fian and Laras, if I hear you harassing them again don't blame me if you and all your children I drag you out of this house," threaten Ardi to Siska.

"Open your eyes, I'm sure you've been influenced by the anj**ng woman" Siska said, holding Ardi's wrist. 

"Nobody affected me, not even Laras said anything to me I know of my own brother Fian. I just think realistic, if indeed Laras can make Fian happy and take care of Fian when his old age later why should we separate anyway not necessarily we can take care of Fian in the future, try to use your common sense well before you hate someone" Ardi explained as he pointed his index finger right at the temple of Siska.

After being satisfied advising the younger brother Ardi rushed after Fian who had first left Siska's house. However, unfortunately when Ardi was already in the workspace there was only Rosa who sat alone. Fian who was already disappointed with Siska immediately dragged Laras into the room. 

“Where is Barrel and Fian?” ask Ardi to Rosa.

“They went into the room, shortly after following you Fian pulled Laras' hand and brought her into the room,” Rosa explained to the brother. 

“I reiterate to you from today stay away from Sister Siska and never ask me to do good to her, because she does not deserve to get good from us,” said Fian firmly to make the wife down. 

“Actually what is it Mas, did not you yourself who taught me to do good to everyone.why now you actually forbid me to do good to your own brother,” asked Laras with curiosity. 

“As far as you know, he has insulted you in front of his brother and children, I did not expect that my brother had a mouth so rotten as a piece of trash,” replied Fian with a passionate emotional tone.

“Sabar Mas, you sit here first I will ask Mbok Ijah to make warm tea for you, " said Laras while smiling at his husband.  

After asking Fian to sit down in a chair the barrel immediately walked towards the door. When he opened the door Laras was surprised because Ardi was already standing in front of the door of his room.

"Abang" said Laras when he saw Ardi who was standing before him. 

“Sorry, can you meet Fian?" asked Ardi to Laras awkwardly. 

"Of course you can Bang, please come in" Laras replied as he let Ardi in. 

"Thank you" replied Ardi as he entered Laras' room. 

After allowing Ardi to enter Laras immediately out to meet Mbok Ijah in the kitchen.  Ardi who was already in the room of the younger brother immediately fell silent when he saw Fian sitting pensively while holding his chin. There is regret in Ardi when he saw Fian pensively staring at the wall with a blank look.  

"Yes Bang, what's wrong," Fian replied as he rubbed his tears that began to drip down his cheek.

"Are you okay?" asked Ardi while sitting in front of Fian.

"I'm fine Bang, I just miss our parents," replied Fian, bowing limply. 

"I know how you feel, Brother apologizes because you've been affected by Siska's words, all this time" Ardi said while removing the glasses plus that is being used.

"I married Laras not because he was beautiful, rich or smart if I could be honest I married him not just out of love, but because I wanted to help him become a good Muslim. If a person's sin and apostasy make an excuse to stay away from him, then how apostates and other sinners want to study religion and find a straight path, should not science be divided," obviously Fian to make Ardi speechless. 

For a moment Ardi just fell silent thinking about Fian's words.  For him what Fian said was true, his fellow humans should embrace each other to anyone who wants to learn about Islam instead of staying away from it. Including Baras he deserves the support of those around him. However, on the contrary he and his entire family hated Laras only because Laras had left Islam.  

"O Allah, forgive me, for I have become a selfish human being and even have stayed away from people who want to know you" Ardi said, rubbing his face violently.

As Ardi and Fian fell silent to each other because of what had happened all along.  Suddenly Laras who had been in the kitchen came with a tray containing two cups of coffee. With a smile Laras began to present a cup on a small table in his room.

"Please drink Bang" said the barrel, inviting Ardi and Fian.

“Thank you,” said Ardi as he began picking up a glass not far from his seat.

“Laras, there is something you want to talk to you about,” said Ardi after drinking coffee made by Laras and put it back on the table.

“Please Bang,” answered Laras while sitting next to her husband.

“Is it true that you were a Muslim?” asked Ardi with curiosity to make Laras speechless. 

“Yes Allah, do I have to pry again my dark and shameful past,” Inner Laras while turning towards Fian who was just speechless. 

“Tell me Honey, you don't have to be afraid as bad as your past and no matter how much they hate you it won't make me stop loving you,” Fian said with a smile as if he knew what was on his mind at this time.

“Iya Laras if you do not tell all your origins in the past how you can get to know you and defend you in front of our extended family,” said Ardi with a friendly smile.

Just this time Ardi smiled kindly to Laras. The sinister face that had been seen in his brother-in-law turned into a very soothing face Laras. For a moment Laras was silent to see the face of the brother-in-law who smiled at him.

“What is true that I see at the moment, what is just this is just a hoax,” Inner Laras with a suspicious look.
