“Now you explain what you mean by not knowing how prayer, and prayer movements,” asked Fian after they were already in the room.
“I'm sorry Mas,” Laras replied while looking down.
“I am not angry with you, I just wonder how it is possible that people who are Muslim cannot read prayer even the prayer movement does not know,” explained Fian while sitting next to his wife.
“Since my childhood I was never taught religion by my parents, they were always busy making money without thinking about me. Until when I graduated Junior High they put me in Christian High School on the grounds that the school is a favorite school, since then I feel understood about Christianity,” explained Laras while lowering his head.
“Don't tell me you and your family converted to Christianity,” guess Fian while looking towards Laras.
“Iya Mas, but only I am not my parents,” Laras replied while shedding tears.
“Ahh! Why do you have to cover all this from me,” shouted Fian right in the face of Laras to make the wife frightened.
“I'm sorry Mas, I didn't mean to lie to you I was just afraid you left me,” Laras replied while holding the husband's hand.
“What until now you are still a Christian, and what your parents know if you have come out of Islam,” asked Fian with a sharp gaze.
“My parents never knew that I had converted to Christianity, and until now I was still a Christian,” Laras replied as he continued to hold the husband's hand.
“Yes Allah forgive me,” said Fian while pulling his hand from the handrails of Laras.
“I'm really sorry Mas, I'm willing if you want to punish me,” Laras replied while sobbing.
“Punish you, let me not be anyone else has no right to punish you, who has the right to punish you only God. However, the current problem is whether our marriage is legal because you and I are different religions,” explained Fian while walking out of the room by slamming the door of the room.
Laras can now only sit on his bed crying because he regretted his stupidity all along. At first Laras thought that Fian would never be that detailed about religion. However, it turns out that Fian is a man who puts his religion ahead of his world.
Now Laras can only cry and prepare to accept all the risks that will be received from the man who is several days to be her husband. Fian who was very disappointed with his wife immediately drove his car to the house of an ustadz named Ghofar. The old man who saw Fian coming with an annoyed face immediately let Fian in and sat on a sofa.
"Mom please make warm tea for your guests" Ustadz Ghofar ordered the wife to cook in the kitchen.
“Good Sir,” replied the wife while stopping her activities.
“There is a Nak Fian, the tumben came to the place of the Father,” asked the ustad while smiling and sitting on the sofa opposite Fian.
“No Sir, it just so happened that I needed to be in this area so I think you guys stopped by the house Mr.” replied Fian with a smile.
“Eh turned out to be his guest Nak Fian anyway,” said Ms. Romlah while putting two cups on the table.
“Iya Ma'am, it was accidentally passed so all of you stopped by,” replied Fian with a friendly smile.
“Ya already please drink, I stay inside yes,” replied Ms. Romlah while inviting Fian.
“Thank you Ma'am,” replied Fian briefly.
Fian knew the Ustad Ghofar family well. The introduction of Fian and Ustadz Ghofar started from donations that Fian always gave every week to several orphanages and mosques. Fian had also come to the house of Ustadz Ghofar, when Fian who was heartbroken because of a failed love affair with his future wife asked the ustadz to find a future wife for him.
“Actually my purpose here is to ask for advice to Mr. Ustadz about marriage," replied Fian hesitated.
"What exactly is it, son, try to explain maybe you can help," said the ustadz.
Fian also began to explain about his marriage with Laras which was done religiously and without the blessing of the lover's parents. Until finally today he knows if the woman who has been lawfully his wife is currently another religion. The ustadz who saw the confusion and disappointment in Fian's eyes immediately invited him to drink the warm tea that was in front of him.
"Astagfirullah, we better drink the tea first so that it is less calm" said the ustadz as he began to take a glass in front of him.
After putting the cup back in his grasp, the old man began to explain the law of marriage to Fian. Word for word the ustadz spoke carefully and slowly with the intention of making it easier to understand and not offend Fian. Fian who had listened to the explanation of the ustad began to understand how the law of marriage and what he had to do at this time.
“How Nak Fian has understood my explanation,” asked Ustadz Ghofar with a smile.
“Alhamdulillah Pak ustad I already understand even I already know what I have to do at this time,” replied Fian calmly.
“Alhamdulillah, it is better now that you go home and solve your problems and your wife with a cold head, may you two learn to respect and respect each other,” said the ustad while praying for the relationship of Fian and Laras.
“Amiin, then I say go home first Mr. Ustad, send greetings to Mother,” said Fian while standing and out of the house of the ustad.
Not long after Fian's return, Ms. Romlah who had been busy cooking in the kitchen came out to the living room. She intended to invite her husband and Fian to lunch together at the dinner table. However, the guest had already left the house.
“Nak Fian has returned Sir,” asked Ms. Romlah to the husband.
“Already, she just stopped by for a while,” replied the husband briefly.
“What is he here sir, want to find a future wife,” asked the wife while sitting next to the husband.
“No, there is indeed what Mother came out,” asked Ustadz Ghofar as if he wanted to switch the conversation.
“Oh no, I wanted to invite you and Fian to lunch together, but it turns out Nak Fian has come home,” replied Ms. Romlah with a smile.
“Ya let's have lunch alone,” replied Ustad Ghofar while holding his wife's hand.
Ustad Ghofar and his wife lived alone, at the age of almost 20 years of marriage they did not have children. Various herbal and medical treatments and therapies have been done. However, they have not yet been able to bring a child to them. Fian who was returning home in a calm condition immediately walked towards his room.
“Quick wear your hijab and veil now,” Fian orders to Laras while in the room.
“Indeed we go where Mas?” asked Laras while wearing his hijab and veil.
“You will know later, now quickly you come with me,” said Fian while holding his wife's hand and walking out of the room.
