Chapter 57

After they reached the room, Laras immediately put shafira to bed in the baby box.  He immediately rushed into the bathroom to immediately take ablution water to perform magrib prayer. fian who was still taking off his shirt continued to look at Laras who had started to pray magrib alone.

"He actually knew where I was at his parents' house, what Mama might have told him," Fian said as he continued to look at his wife.  

"Until when will you keep seeing me like that? " ask Laras to make Fian surprised.  

"Yes, I want to pray magrib first" Fian replied in surprise when he heard the wife's voice. 

After performing the magrib prayer service slowly Fian began to approach Laras who was lying on his bed.  While massaging the legs of the wife Fian began to ask about who told him if he was at Arman's house. At first Laras just silently heard the husband's question with a smile.  

"Indeed, why are you so curious about the person who has told you whereabouts until when do you keep lying to me? Did I always ban you in every way until you kept lying" Laras asked as he sat down and turned to Fian.

"It's not that dear, I just want to settle the misunderstanding problem with your Papa, I just don't want them to think I've betrayed you with Wulan," Fian replied as he looked at the wife's face. 

"Mas, who married you it was me, who lived life with you as well as me, she said,  so no matter what others say about you and our relationship as long as I'm comfortable and believe in you that's enough, " explains Laras with a smile and holding the husband's cheek.  

Fian who heard Laras' explanation only smiled, he was grateful to be able to marry a strong and patient woman like his wife. Their days are running normally like humans in general.  Wulan's figure has also begun to sink in their lives, even Siska's crimes have begun to subside since Fian decided to buy the estate of his late father. 

Exactly 7 months after the operation. Laras who was having a menstrual period suddenly experienced severe pain in his stomach. Fian immediately took her to the hospital. 

"How's my wife Doc?" fian asked a Doctor who had just come out of the ER room.

"For a while Ibu Laras had to stay overnight in the hospital until the results of the laboratory examination came out" the doctor replied to Fian. 

"Then can I meet my wife Doc?" fian asked worriedly. 

"Please sir, then excuse me sir" replied the doctor and left Fian. 

After hearing the doctor's explanation, Fian began to sit in a hospital corridor chair.  For a moment he daydreamed about the condition of his wife and the state of Shafira who is currently safe in the supervision of Mbok Ijah. Fian also ventured to contact Arman who was sitting on the porch of his house. 

"Hello, Assalamualaikum" Fian said as the phone call began to connect.

"Waalaikumsalam, did you call me?" asked Arman in his haughty tone. 

"I just want to let you know that Laras is currently being treated at the hospital" Fian told Arman. 

"What! Quickly tell me which hospital she was in" Arman asked frantically. 

"Medicine hospital," Fian answered briefly.

"Well we'll be there soon now" replied Arman as he hung up his phone. 

"What's the matter Pa?" sophia asked who had just come out of the kitchen when she heard the husband's screams.

"Quick you get ready we're going to the hospital now" Arman ordered as he stood up from his seat and walked towards the room. 

"Laras, he is currently being treated in a medical hospital," replied Arman to make Sophia surprised. 

"Oh my God, then Mama will turn off the stove first" Sophia said as she walked towards the kitchen in a hurry.

At the hospital Fian was sitting pensively next to his wife who was still asleep. Suddenly surprised by the arrival of a doctor. Slowly the doctor came in and walked towards Laras who suddenly woke up from his sleep. 

"How's Baras Bu doing right now?" the doctor asked Laras with a friendly smile. 

"Alhamdulillah good Doc," Laras replied with a smile to the doctor. 

"This is how our Father and Mother have obtained the laboratory results of Bu Laras, according to the laboratory results of tumors that once lodged in the womb Mother grows again and Mother Laras also suffer from leukocytosis disease," obviously the doctor handed Fian a brown envelope. 

"What leukocytosis is Doc?" asked Fian who looked curious.

"Leukocytosis or leukocyte is a condition of too many white blood cells, leukocytes can be caused by various conditions, such as inflammation, infection, allergies, even sorry blood cancer, all of which can be known from laboratory examinations, and I recommend that you immediately have surgery to remove the tumor back," explained the obstetrician to Fian and Laras. 

"How can a tumor that has been removed grow back?" fian asked as if he could not believe what he had just heard. 

"It could be an unhealthy diet, such as fast food or junk food, fatty foods, lack of vegetable and fruit intake, or due to tumor roots that have not been lifted perfectly," the doctor told Fian and Laras. 

"Okay Doc, then we'll talk to the big family first" Fian replied to the doctor. 

"Well, then I just need to check on other patients, Ibu Laras must be eager to heal and always pray God willing the miracle must be there," the doctor said before leaving the room Laras. 

The barrel that had been holding back his tears immediately cried as the doctor came out of his room. Fian who was still daydreaming and standing beside his wife immediately hugged Laras. Trying to calm the wife who was in bad condition. 

"Mas, I beg you not to approve the operation" said Laras who was crying in Fian's arms. 

"Why, isn't that for your own good?" tany Fian who did not understand the purpose of his wife's decision. 

"I sincerely live this all, maybe this is a punishment for me because I have wished God I had left him and did not even know him at all" said Laras crying.

"No dear this is not a punishment from God, God presents all this just to abort our sins, because God loves you," Fian said while crying in Laras' arms. 

"Mas, I always pray to God that one of us should die, I ask God to let me die first,  because I can't live without you next to me" Laras said, causing Fian to cry and shake his head. 

"You have to trust me, you're not going anywhere we're going to take care of Shafira together, for a while I'm going to leave Shafira to your parents" Fian explained, looking into Laras' eyes. 

"Do they still want to help us take care of Shafira?" asked Laras with a doubtful look.
