Milia's Identity

Chapter 31

In a sizable room, there were many people gathering, all of them were new adventurers who were about to take the test.

Milia was currently waiting for the examiner to arrive to test out her adventurer Rank.

Moments later came a man wielding a sword, the man then stood before everyone and said."I'm Kevin, I'll be your examiner in the field of swordsmanship".

Without wasting any more time, Kevin called all the participants one by one to be tested.

"Milia". Finally it was Milia's turn to do the test.

Milia took out a wooden sword that the Guild had provided, and pointed it at Kevin.

"Strike me with all your abilities". Kevin says.

Hearing that Milia directly attacked him at full speed.

*Swoosh*

Milia's body instantly disappeared from where she was standing earlier and she instantly appeared next to Kevin.

*Slash*

Milia instantly slashed her wooden sword towards kevin.

*Tak*

But Kevin managed to see his movements and managed to fend it off.

After failing in the first attack Milia immediately jumped back to avoid a counterattack from Kevin.

Kevin who saw that smiled and said."Good, the aim of your attack is very good, and once you fail in your attack, you also instantly retreat to avoid a counterattack".

"It's my turn to attack". Added.

Kevin walked forward casually, but his body arrived in front of Milia, and he shook off his wooden sword.

Milia also managed to deflect it perfectly, but Kevin continued to launch his attacks.

The sound of wooden swords clashing against each other, after a long fight, Kevin finally won the fight.

He arrived immediately behind Milia and pointed his sword towards Milia's head and said."Now the fight is over".

"You've been amazing, your sword skills have been above average". Added.

Kevin then stood in front of everyone and said."This way my test is done, then you'll do a magic test with someone".

All the participants then rested while waiting for the arrival of the person who would be their testator.

After a while, a beautiful Elf appeared wearing a magician hat.

The witch stood in front of everyone and said."I'm Elena, the one who's gonna do a magic test on you guys".

Elena called out to all the participants one by one and until it was Milia's turn."Milia".

Milia then advanced forward, after Elena saw Milia, she was shocked and said in shock.

"Lady princess? what are you doing here?". Elena said in shock.

Milia was also surprised that someone recognized her here and she asked."You know me?".

"Of course I know you, I often see you in the palace". Elena says.

Milia then asked."Do you often go to the palace? but how can I not remember you?".

Elena then explained."I was a librarian in the Elven Kingdom back then, so I rarely went out of the house".

"I go out only occasionally, and the princess may never see me". Added.

"I want to be an adventurer". Milia said briefly.

"Did the princess run away from home?". Elena asked.

Milia just kept silent not answering. Elena who saw that did not continue anymore.

"Alright we'll start the test for the princess". Elena switched the conversation.

Milia then begins her tests along with Elena.

Meanwhile in the middle of the forest, Mateo was walking along the road while looking for traces of Behemoth as well as Manticore.

But he did not find it after searching for so long.

As he was walking down the street, Mateo suddenly heard the sound of someone screaming for help.

Hearing that shout Mateo immediately rushed to run towards the direction of the voice

Upon arriving at the source of the sound, Mateo saw 4 women surrounded by a pack of hungry wolves.

Mateo immediately approached them and slashed his sword at the wolf.

*woosh*

Mateo instantly disappeared from his place and arrived in front of one of the hungry wolves and slashed his sword.

*Slash*

The head of the wolf arrived regardless of its body and instantly fell down.

*Byuri*

Blood gushed out from the wolf's body, and a moment later its body instantly fell to the ground.

Mateo then killed all the remaining wolves very easily.

After successfully killing all the wolves, Mateo approached the women who asked for help earlier.

"Are you all right?". Mateo asked them.

"We're fine, thanks for saving us". One of the women said.

Mateo then asked back."What are you doing in this forest?".

"We're on a mission, we're an adventurer party". One of the women answered.

"But while on a mission, we encountered a pack of hungry wolves". Added.

One of the women then said."We initially managed to hold them, but their numbers grew even more".

"We ran away after failing to hold them all, but when we got here we were stopped by them". Added.

The other woman then added."We ended up screaming for help, and thank God that you came to save us".

"Are you an adventurer too?". One of the women asked Mateo.

"Yes". Mateo answered briefly.

"Please take us with you, we're still not done with our mission". One of the women said.

"Hmmm". Mateo thought for a moment, after a while he said back."I'll take you guys, but what do I get?".

"We promise to do what you will ask". They all said.

Hearing that Mateo immediately smiled and said."All right, I'll ask for my gift later".

Mateo then led them into the forest.
