Chapter 18

When it was morning, Mateo woke up from her sleep and she saw Mia who was still fast asleep due to fatigue last night.

Mateo then walked out of his room, then he headed to the dining room, there he had already seen many food lined up on the dining table.

Then he approached the table and sat down, after he sat down, Layla came from the kitchen with a plate containing cooked food.

"Mr Mateo, soon all the food will be ready". Layla says.

Mateo nodded and said."Yeah, thanks for working so hard".

"Oh, and where are the others?". Added again.

Layla immediately replied."Looks like the others are still sleeping, later I will wake them up".

Mateo nodded again and said."Yes, and you don't need to wake Mia, just prepare food separately for her, I'll bring it myself".

Layla nodded and said."Well sir, then excuse me". Layla bowed a little and went to call the others.

After a while everyone at home had gathered for breakfast together.

Layla then came up with a plate filled with side dishes for them to eat.

After that they all had breakfast together happily.

After finishing eating, Mateo then brought food provided specifically for Mia to her room.

After arriving at her room she then woke up Mia who was still soundly asleep.

After several attempts of waking up, Mia had already woken up, yet she still closed her eyes.

Mateo who knew that immediately said."Looks like the princess wants a good morning kiss so she can wake up".

Mia slightly smiled after hearing that, and she looked forward to the kiss from Mateo.

Then Mateo kissed Mia on her lips gently, moments later Mia opened her eyes with a happy smile visible on her face.

Seeing that Mia was awake, Mateo said."Looks like our spoiled princess has woken up".

Mia said with a smile on her face."I'm so happy to get a morning kiss from my handsome prince".

Mateo then kissed her lips again gently and spoiled.

Then Mateo said."My daughter's master should have breakfast first, so that our baby is born healthy".

Then Mateo feeds Mia very romantically.

Mateo swung her spoon towards Mia's mouth and said."Aaa".

Mia opened her mouth to welcome the food that Mateo had fed her.

After reaching Mia's mouth, Mia wants to clench her mouth to eat it, but Mateo pulls it back before Mia can eat it.

Mia's a little sulky."Mmmhhh, nasty". Mia hit Mateo's chest slowly.

Mateo who saw this couldn't help but laugh."Hahaha, you look so sweet when you're sulking".

Mateo then fed him back, after a while his food was up.

Mia who was thirsty after eating immediately drank the drink brought by Mateo, but before she could drink it Mateo stopped her.

"wait". Mateo caught the cup.

Mia then asked in confusion."Whyyyy?".

"I'll give you the drink". Mateo said as he took his cup.

She then put water into her mouth and gave Mia a drink using her lips.

Mia who got this kind of treatment, her heart instantly became a flowering flower.

Mateo then said proudly."Of course, a man should be good at making his own woman happy".

Mia then said."I want us to do this a few times in the future, even if only occasionally".

"I'll do it for you". Mateo said while hugging Mia.

As they were hugging, someone knocked on the door of his room and said directly from outside.

*Tok tock*

"Master, he said Prince Hansen came to visit". Layla's voice sounded from outside.

"Alright, tell him to come in first". Mateo said casually.

Layla then nodded and said."Well sir, I'll tell you".

After that Layla immediately went out to tell Hansen to come in and wait.

Mia who heard the visiting prince instantly felt nervous.

He then said to Mateo anxiously."Does the prince know about your relationship with the Queen? and he's coming now to arrest you?".

Mateo then calmed her down and said."No, it's not about that, it's another matter".

"You don't have to worry too much, because it will harm your womb". Mateo added.

Mateo then stood up and said."Alright I'll meet the prince first, you just wait here and don't worry".

Mia then nodded."Um".

Then Mateo walked out of the room to meet Hansen who was waiting for him in the living room.

Moments later Mateo arrives in the living room, where she sees Hansen sitting waiting for her.

When Hansen saw Mateo coming, he stood up and he paid his respects, Mateo then replied to him by nodding his head.

Then Mateo invited Hansen to sit back."Prince, please sit down".

Then Mateo sat down and after seeing Mateo already sitting down, Hansen then sat down as well.

After sitting down Mateo said with a smile."It is an honor for me that the second prince visited my house".

"No no, honestly my arrival here was to ask for your help". Hansen said with a smile.

Mateo was a little surprised and said."Oh, what kind of help can I give to the prince?".

Hansen then said."I want you to catch someone who's been bothering me this late".

Mateo said with a surprised expression."Oh, who would dare disturb the prince of the Fred Kingdom?".

"I don't know either, but moments ago one of my subordinates was killed in a building on the edge of town". Hansen said with a slight annoyance.

"What kind of help does the prince want from me?". Mateo asked.

Hansen then replied."I want you to investigate who killed him".

Mateo then thought for a while and said."Hmmm, I can help investigate, but I don't guarantee I'll find out who did it".

"It's okay, I'm so glad you want to beat me up". Hansen said with a smile.

They then talked about other things, after a while Hansen asked to resign.

"Well then, I'll go first, and also thank you for helping me". Hansen said respectfully.

"It's okay, I'm also happy to be able to help the prince". Mateo said with a little respect.

Hansen then leaves with Milia.

After seeing Hansen's departure, Mateo said to himself."It seems he doesn't know that the one who has been bothering him this late is me".
