Prince Hansen is missing

Chapter 23

After the King heard the report from Hansen's servant he growled furiously."Bastard, who dares to kidnap a prince from my kingdom".

He added."A few years ago the first prince disappeared, and now the second prince".

The king then ordered all the Knights to search for the prince's whereabouts.

The king then asked the servant."Who was the last person he met?".

The waiter then replied respectfully."His Majesty replied, The second Prince last met the Dragon Slayer Mateo".

"Send someone to bring Mateo here right now". The king issued an order.

"Okay, Your Majesty". The waiter leaned over and walked away looking for someone to pick up Mateo.

The Queen who was at the King's side tried to appease the King."Honey, take it easy, I'm sure Mateo won't dare to do anything to the second prince".

The king then tried to calm himself down and said."I just wanted to ask him, maybe he knows where Hansen's going".

On the other hand, Mateo was currently just arriving at her house, she was greeted by Mia who was relaxing in the courtyard.

"Darling, you're finally back". Mia approached him with a happy face.

Mateo then hugged her."Yeah, I miss my beautiful Mia so much".

"Hmm, I didn't think you'd call me with a word of affection". Add it while teasing.

Mia then said with embarrassment."I-I just want to sound more like a couple".

Mateo then said as she pinched Mia's cheek."Hahaha, your face when embarrassed is really really cute".

Mia then punches Mateo in the chest spoiled, then she invites Mateo to enter the house.

But before they entered, someone called out to him from outside the gate."Mr. Mateo, His Majesty the King is calling you to meet him at the Palace now".The voice was clearly heard.

Mateo who heard that immediately walked up to him and asked."Is there anything?".

The servant who came to call Mateo answered."I don't know either, but you're called to face right now".

Mateo then said."All right".

Mia heard that so worried, she asked worriedly."W-did the King know about your relationship?".

Mateo tried to calm her down by saying."Take it easy, it's not about that".

After calming Mia down, Mateo then left together with the Servant of the Palace.

Moments later Mateo arrived inside the Palace, and he was currently facing the King respectfully.

Mateo said while looking down."Your Majesty, I am Mateo, present to fulfill your call".

The king then said."Mateo, I want to ask you something".

Mateo replied respectfully."Please Your Majesty".

The king then said."Did you just meet Prince Hansen?".

The king asked."Did you know that Prince Hansen disappeared?".

Mateo who heard that said in surprise."Whahuh? Prince Hansen's missing?".

"Yes". The king said briefly.

Mateo then replied."I don't know His Majesty at all".

Hearing that the King was silent for a moment and continued asking."Do you know something?".

"Hmmm".Mateo thought for a moment, then he remembered something and said."Your Majesty, this afternoon Prince Hansen said to me that he was involved with the Seven Deadly Sins Organization, probably those who were carrying him".

Hearing the name Sevend Deadly Sins King became extremely shocked and said in disbelief."Whahuh? No way, how could my son be involved with them?".

Mateo then replied respectfully."Your Majesty, I am telling you the truth".

The king then calmed down and said."All right, you can go back now".

Mateo then left by being escorted by the waiter who brought him earlier.

After Mateo left the King held a meeting with the officials of the Palace.

In the meeting room, the King said to all the members present."Mateo said, My son Prince Hansen is involved with the Seven Deadly Sins".

The higher-ups who heard this were immediately shocked, then one of the higher-ups said."If that was indeed true, then this would be a very troublesome affair".

Then one of the higher-ups said back."But we have no evidence that Prince Hansen was involved with the Seven Deadly Sins".

Everyone in the room pondered, thinking about the problem they were facing.

The king then said."Do you remember a few years ago my son arrived with a very strong power?".

One of the officers then said."Yes, Could it be that His Majesty meant?".

The king then nodded."Yes, when he got such a powerful force back then, the Sword belonging to the founder of this kingdom disappeared, maybe he exchanged that sword in exchange for its power".

"Well, what should we do then? In a few days we will be at war with the Kingdom of Valos". One of the officers asked.

The other officer answered."We'll have a ceasefire for a while".

He then added."And we will hold a meeting of the Leaders of all the kingdoms in this Continent".

After that they all agreed with that opinion.

The King also ordered to send a cease-fire letter and an invitation to a meeting with all Kingdom leaders across the Continent to discuss the Seven Deadly Sins issue.

While Mateo had reached his residence, he saw Mia who was still waiting for him anxiously.

When Mia saw Mateo arrive, she immediately ran over and hugged him.

Mateo hugged her too and said."I've returned safely, so don't worry anymore".

"Ehm". Mia nodded.

They then went inside the house, to eat together with the others.
