47. Match

Ellina looked a little shaky, she was unexpected with the fire-destroying ability. He also remembered a little of his bad past. Ellina gulped down the spit she pointed the ice sword towards Laxus still trying to fight back.

“Fire anger? That's your ability, right?” Ellina second-guessing. No more precisely he had indeed met the exact same fire user so he knew.

Grinning Laxus said, “Ah, how else. You sons of destruction must be afraid of this huh? The fire that killed you.” 

Formerly the owners of red eyes, or can be called the children of destruction were killed with this fire of anger. The fire had killed many and the fire of anger was like a punishment from the gods for the sons of destruction. Though they never do anything, but the sons of destruction are always oppressed. Ellina was one of the victims of the fire, although she did not die, but she saw many deaths through the fire. Walking in a sea of corpses and burning places was Ellina's worst past.

The reason why the child of destruction is always oppressed is because of the legend of the god, the story was written like this. If there's someone with ruby red eyes then torture them, I'll excommunicate them. All the possessors of red eyes will bring destruction, and therefore all excommunicate the child of destruction.

“Whispering! I'm not the child of destruction.”

But Ellina did not stop there, this time Ellina ran around Laxus, she threw the same attack as before, she threw all the scythe of ice from all sides. The icy scythe with an overwhelming amount headed towards the body of the laxus, the right, left, back and front sides were all wide open.

When the scythe was almost exposed to Laxus, Ellina had a proud smile, she thought that if Laxus was hit by the magic of the scythe then Ellina would win, but very dear.

They all wanted to help be it Leonardo, Razor, Bryan and the others. But they won't be able to do it because it's a game that shouldn't interfere.

Laxus continued to fire a small flame coming from his index finger, it shot towards Ellina like a gun. Ellina dodged some small flames, leaping about and slashing down on some that she could.

All Ellina did was to dodge and fend off the small flames that Laxus kept attacking, but this time Ellina slashed all those flames and dashed swiftly towards Laxus, Ellina's running motion was quite fast, when he got in front of Laxus. Ellina directly swung the ice sword towards Laxus' neck.

Laxus calmly leapt back and kicked Ellina in the head before the ice sword hit her neck.

Ellina was thrown, she cried out in pain and fell on the ground. His breathing began to fall apart and his memories poured out, he wanted to get back up, but did not have enough strength.

Laxus walked towards Ellina.

“This is your ability, miss? Honestly, I'm disappointed.”

When he reached Ellina, Laxus grinned at the sight of the weak body lying down. He pointed his right hand towards Ellina with a sly smile everyone would know what she was going to do.

A bunch of red light gathered on that right hand. Little by little and then even to the point of creating a loud noise, Laxus most likely wanted to let out a fire with the same force while destroying the wall.

Razor gritted her teeth, she stared intently at Ellina. Perhaps this man was a little emotional from seeing a friend of his precious fate being treated like trash. The more Razor's emotions hit both hands tightly.

Leonardo, who was standing next to Razor, looked as if he knew what his friend was feeling, then looked back at Ellina.

A mass of light gathers more and more in a moment the fire of Laxus will slide. Ellina seemed to tremble, she closed her eyes.

“Death to Ellina!”

The light began to gather, the fire magic was about to appear, the headmaster Morgan was planning to stop, but it seemed that Morgan had no need to help since Laxus could feel something cold all over his body. He felt his legs and arms freeze, trying to check he was looking at his hands and feet. Then he was surprised to find that his hands and feet had frozen.

She was confused, Ellina was already lying weak, so who made this ice magic?

“Enough to there Laxus.”

Leonardo walked leisurely towards him, his whole body giving off an aura of whiteness and ice smoke, he looked very calm and under Leonardo's feet, Laxus could see that the ground had frozen.

Laxus realized one thing. The one who froze his legs and hands before he could even cast magic was none other than Leonardo.

“What are you doing, weak whiny!?” 

Laxus seemed to be in disbelief when he was bullied, he was furious.

Unanswered, Leonardo created an ice sword in his hand and pressed the sword right at Laxus' neck, with a cold gaze Leo said, pressing down on the sword,

“There is no special reason, this girl seems to be an important person to my friend. That's why I saved him.”

All the students watching looked surprised, they whispered to each other. Unbelieving the sight of Laxus being stopped for granted, especially Razor, he was very surprised, before Leo was by his side but this time he was at Laxus' place and stopped the fight, he said, he also said about himself. 

“Continue? What does that have to do with you? You should know when the game can't be disturbed!” laxus stared at Leonardo.

“It because–”

‘’Stop the fight now!!” Principal Morgan shouted, he was quickly near Leonardo and Laxus.

“Cih! All right,” lamented Laxus, he doesn't want to deal with Morgan.

leo looked surprised. ‘Seriously? Who is this old man really? I don't realize where he is if he doesn't yell’

Leo melted his ice, he's not dealing with Morgan, at least for now.

Looking at the two students who according to Morgan made a sigh of relief.

“‘This fight ends without a winner! But tomorrow is festival day, you can finish all the affairs in that day!”” Morgan declared it for all students including Leo and Laxus.

After that the match ended with no winner, Leo and Ellina returned to the club without any words at all. When Ellina was near Razor, Razor lectured her.

“Ellina told me what! Don't fight him, look at your body full of wounds!” razor's reprimand looked angry, but also worried.

Ellina looked guilty and bowed her head. “Sorry.” Ellina's greeting is very sincere, she really feels guilty.

“Cih! Never mind, the important thing is I'm grateful you're alive.” Ending with a smile Razor stroked Ellina's white hair.

In addition, Leonardo was still staring at the MOrgan in the audience seat carefully.
