20. Slave regulation no. 2

The previously calm and cool situation now turned gripping when the figure of the half-face masked man who only displayed his mouth came. This human-skinned demon quickly ruined Lily and Monika's happiness. The man was none other than Edward he smiled horribly towards Lily and Monika Seeing his smile made the two girls tremble in fear.

Seeing Edward's face alone has succeeded in making Lily frightened. This is very reasonable because considering what he had done to this blonde girl. Edward once burned the city and if it was too late he could have been a slave then sold. Thanks to Leonardo for saving Lily.

As well as Monika, she was very afraid of this man. Because of this devil fault all his family died, and he became a slave after that. In a situation like this, no one would dare to fight.

“Why did you just shut up and look at me? Oh I know, you guys must be really happy to meet your employer huh.. Hahaha, really a troublesome slave.”

Edward knew very well that the two people he was looking at were terrified, so he decided to put out a word that added horror to them not forgetting to use his smile.

No one responded to that word. Both Lily and Monika could only gulp and tremble in fear, their faces had turned pale and blue. A few minutes ago, they were still smiling and looking happy.

But that happiness quickly disappeared, because of Edward's existence.

Even though his heart and body felt pierced by thousands of needles, even moving an inch was like dying. Lily kept on venturing. She was basically a member of Eraser where it might be possible to involve the weak Monika. Even though he knew he was going to lose, but he still wanted to protect this civilian girl. No. She wanted to protect her precious female friend.

Lily had made up her mind to kick the butt of the masked man, she cast a spell and managed to summon Raphael. His blue eyes had been full of determination and courage.

“Monika, get out of here!”

“But.”

“I'm fine, even though this is how I'm still a member of Eraser.. So go!”

Tears fell on Monika's cheeks, with a claustrophobic sense of heart she ran away from this situation. Lily smiled in relief, although she could be killed by now, yet she was happy that at least Monika survived.

“Raphael mode pistol”

Without answering Raphael had turned into two small white pistols, currently he was tightly grasped by Lily.

Seeing the girl who pointed a gun at him making Edward's stomach amused, he laughed very loudly

“What's funny?!”

Lily pointed the two white pistols at Edward, preparing to fire at any moment. 

“No.. It's just too funny.. Haha.. Lily my slave this one is indeed an extraordinary one.. I'm so sorry because at that time I couldn't sell you.”

“Close your mouth!! Or I'll-”

“What will? Shoot me with that weak gun.. Don't joke trash!”

Lily's hair was once again standing, yet she kept trying to fight it, “Weak? Don't underestimate Raphael!”

Edward ignored his words, he smiled mockingly. A streak of black light began to gather on this man's right hand. He grinned and directed that pitch-black light towards Lily.

The blush!

The light moved very quickly towards Lily, but either accidentally or misses the darkness sharply hit the two Lily pistols. The light was extremely sharp very quickly the two pistols split apart.

“See weak instead.”

Lily's blue eyes opened wide, she was surprised to see the weapon was broken. No more precisely he was worried about Raphael, whether the Spirit was fine or was injured. That's what happened in Lily's brain.

She doesn't want anything to happen with her Soul, although it sounds strange, but Lily considers her Rukh as a special existence. Lily herself didn't understand what made her think that way.

“Raphael.. You're okay, right?”

No answer from him. Raphael could have replied, even though he was being the stuff he could communicate because Raphael's soul was still the same just different.

Currently there are two reasons that cross Lily's mind, maybe this Rukh is sulking as usual, or this Rukh is dead. Maybe he didn't want the last one to happen.

Lily's eyes started to glaze over, she continued to stare at the two halves of the split gun. He hopes to hear the answer. Even if he had just one word he wanted to hear an answer from Raphael. But it seems free.

Lily shed tears, she was made emotional by the words of Edward. Where can he hold back his emotions and sadness.

Instantly various memories of his association with raphael appear. Starting from him who calls Raphael just to vent at night, Raphael looks emotional and ogah-ogahan, but in the end he still heard the story of Lily to the end.

Not stopping there he also remembered when Raphael and he cleaned the dirty room. Well, even though Raphael was turned into a broom for cleaning. But he was very confident that despite sometimes liking emotions in the end Raphael would succumb.

All those memories were precious to Lily for this girl Raphael was like one of the precious families, of course he did not want anything to happen to Raphael.

“Why do you look sad? Here you can tell with your employer.”

Edward said it wasn't out of worry, he just wanted to play with Lily's emotions.

“Whispering!! Raphael is precious to me.. I won't forgive you.”

"haha.. Something precious, huh? Just Rukh though? That creature is a tool.”

“Not!! Rukh is not a tool.. Rukh is our bad embodiment.. They are part of our own!”

“ Unreasonable.”

Edward started to get irritated he gathered a dark light in his hand and swung towards Lily. The dark light moved quickly like an air knife, Lily could not react. The dark light hit Lily's shoulder and made her fall weak.

Blood continued to flow through Lily's shoulders, unwilling to stop even though it had been held tightly by Lily's left hand. Lily's eyes closed slightly, she could have fainted, but Lily forced herself.

Edward smiled seeing the weak girl still continuing to try as hard as possible. This situation was his favorite, seeing a girl who fought back and in the end died, he often did the same as if it was a hobby.

He stepped casually towards Lily, yet he did not attack this man whispering anything.

“Why did you tell Monika to leave? Don't tell me you forgot the slave rule no. 2?”

As if remembering something Lily's eyes opened wide, but surely she remembered something not good from the look of her face was clearly visible. His breath became a mess. I don't know what he remembers but whatever it was he seemed to suffer when he remembered about the slave rule no. 2 referred to by Edward.

“It looks like you've remembered it, good boy.”

Edward's hand stroked Lily's head and hair, but there was no warmth in the way Lily was even more frightened.

And as expected, Edward lowered Lily's head by force until it hit the ground, he continued to throw Lily's head to the ground until it was full of blood.

“Basic trash! What kind of subordinate are you, until your master has to remind? Hahh!!”

This man continued to do the same mercilessly, continuing to pull Lily's head down until the girl was lying limp and unable to move. 

The look of disgust and here came out of Edward when he looked at the limp body, to be honest he seemed to want to destroy his body to formless, but today he was holding back.

“Alright, thank your good master.. I'm gonna go after Monika so that buda rule no. 2 is off.. Or don't tell me you'd rather the rule be active? … Don't just shut up and answer the trash!!”

Feeling furious Edward kicked Lily's stomach lying limp, even Lily had coughed up blood because of it. Sensing the excruciating pain Lily could choose to open her mouth and answer.

“Yes.. Please go after him.. Do not let rule no. 2 active.”

A loud kick once again about Lily.

“Cih.. You stupid trashy telling.. But fine because I'm good I'll do what you tell me to do.”

Edward smiled viciously, he ran after Monika who had disappeared.

I hope you're okay Monika.

Lily's eyes grew increasingly shut and this girl fainted instantly on the cold ground.
