The Relationship Goals
Section 21_Don't Pay Too Much Attention to Me

Alice looked at Bara who was already sitting nearby with a flat face. Bara's eyes were just busy staring ahead without ignoring who was nearby. The silent atmosphere made Alice feel awkward, but her eyes still did not want to be detached from the man nearby.

Bara who felt that Alice had entered from the beginning had noticed him immediately glanced at a glance and refocused on the steering wheel. “Why do you keep seeing me, Alice? Something wrong with me?” ask Bara with a flat face.

Alice shook her head and just kept quiet with her mouth tight. Bara who felt sultry immediately pulled over the car and looked at Alice with a cold look.

“There's something wrong with me, Alice?” ask Bara with a fixed view.

Alice immediately stiffened her body and nodded. “There, Bara. Why were you there when Dave dropped me off?” alice asked with a curious look. From the very beginning, he had been thinking about asking that question. No way, right, a Bara can exist and appear before him just when he needs someone.

The one who heard him immediately remained silent and turned his eyes away. He quickly returned to his car slowly. Her memory returned a few minutes after Alice left with Dave.

Flashbacks

Bara let out a long sigh when it was felt Alice had left the office yard together with Dave. The various papers in front of her were confusing as her mind was divided, between work and Alice. There was a sense of unwillingness when the girl left with another man.

“You drive me crazy, Alice,” murmured Bara with hardened jaws.

He exhaled again and got up. With a hasty step he immediately walked out of the office, following what his heart had been thinking about. This once, he wanted to follow her heart even though it felt foreign.

“After a long time I did not feel the same way, now you make me feel it again, Alice. Absolutely ridiculous,” grumbled Bara who did the thing he never thought of at all.

Alice made him feel differently. A taste that's been gone since Bella left it. Bara went down the stairs with a little run and accidentally hit someone when it was right at the entrance.

Bara stopped his steps and looked at the girl he had just stared at. The anxious and worried face instantly disappeared as his net looked at the glasses girl he had seen together with Alice.

Dara frowned in surprise at Bara and still stared at Bara's worried look before the man stared flatly.

“You're Bara, right?” dara asked with an observing face. He still remembers the face of the man who made his best friend put on a sad face.

“Sorry, I was in a hurry,” replied Bara who immediately stepped away from Dara. Dara only let out a long sigh and stared at the departure of Bara who was getting away.

Bara enters the car and begins to pierce the streets, seeing where Alice will begin to go. Bara drove his car at an average speed until he finally found Alice.

Just pulled down the car and stopped right when Dave stopped the car. His forehead wrinkled as he looked at Alice who was descending and smiling faintly.

“What does it do?” ask Bara with a confused face. He turned off the car engine and observed what Alice was doing. His net looked at Dave who had already passed away.

Bara still remained silent until he himself felt furious. With a rash step he immediately approached Alice, took off the suit and put it on Alice's body.

“Come in the car. Outside cold,” said Bara while throwing a cold gaze at Alice.

Flashback finished

Bara shook his head slowly realizing the stupidity and silliness that had just been done. In fact, even in a dream he never imagined he would do something like this.

“Bara,” call Alice quietly and still waiting for an answer, “why are you there? You following me?” ask Alice on target.

Bara who was asked gave a quick glance and a cynical smile. “Don't dream too much, Alice. I happened to pass by because I was going to Rika's house. Don't think of anything,” Bara replied making Alice instantly silent.

What are you thinking, Alice. Don't silly. Bara never liked you, Alice's mind was awakening.

“Why did you get off Dave's car, Alice?” ask Bara who has turned the car to a restaurant.

“Dave is having business at the office. That's why I came home alone,” explained Alice with a lethargic face.

Stop the car and shut off the engine. His hands slowly ruffled the top of Alice's head, making the girl stare with innocent eyes.

“Don't sacrifice yourself, Alice. You deserve to be happy. Sometimes feeling selfish is necessary. You should let Dave drive to the office again,” Bara said advising, “ayo get off. We eat, I'm hungry.”

Alice who heard only silence and looked at Bara who was ready to go down with a pushy look. There was a sense of pain when he heard Bara's advice. Selfish? He even committed selfishness by staying on the side of his parents.

“Don't pay too much attention to me, Bara. Or I'll find it hard to forget you,” Alice murmured when Bara had already come down and closed the door.

_____

Dave got out of the car in a hurry. Even he had forgotten Alice who was somehow doing it. His mind was focused only on the company's problems. He wanted to give the best for Michael as a sign of gratitude with everything he has been given. That's why she chose to return to the office rather than take a walk with Alice.

Dave had just arrived at the entrance when his eyes looked at Michael who was already taking a leisurely step. He quickly ran over to Michael who was already staring at him with a shocked look.

“Dave, why are you here?” ask Michael when it stops right in front of Dave.

“I got a phone there's a problem on my division. That's why I came back,” Dave replied with an anxious face.

Michael heard a small laugh. “Stop worrying too much, Dave. I've already finished everything. All employees who have harmed my company have received the appropriate punishment,” said Michael still with a relaxed face.

Dave who heard sighs of relief. At least the problem in his division was well resolved.

“Where, Alice? Don't you want to go with him?” michael asked while looking for the girl in question.

“I left it on the road. He doesn't want me to drive back to the office,” Dave replied with a calm face.

“Hah?” Michael turned away in disbelief at Dave's words. Slowly he went back to exhaling and patted his best friend's shoulder slowly.

“I'm glad to have an employee like you, Dave. Always put my company first and try to do my best. But you also have to remember that you have a life. You need to find a companion and understand a woman who will eventually become your wife. I suggest you don't do that again because I know Alice must be saddened by your decision. He was just making small talk and was curious about, Dave,” explained Michael at length.

Dave who heard sighs loudly. “Actually I'm not even sure about building a relationship anymore, Ael. I'm afraid if the woman I married is the same as Rensi,” I Dave made Michael turn his back in disbelief.

“Then Alice? You have been betrothed and you accepted it,” Michael said with passionate emotion.

“I will keep doing this wedding because my mama expects it. I want to do what you want and will try to love Alice, even if I don't promise to love as expected. Let's just say, I'm trying to test if Alice is like Reni or not and hopefully I'll be able to love her sooner or later, ” replied Dave who directly walked up to the stairs of his room.

Michael who heard could only be silent. He can't say anything because he never knew how Dave felt all along.

“I hope Alice won't leave you, Dave,” Michael said with a hopeful look. He wanted to see his two best friends happy.
