Section 20_Joint Path

After driving Dara to her best friend's car, Alice returned to the room. Every now and then when she stepped up while looking at the face of the bra that was not visible since talking to her. It felt like he missed the cold man who used to always praise and indulge him indirectly.

Alice took a long breath. The sad atmosphere in his room further added to the painful feeling felt. The nature of the embers and words more sharpened to make him feel different things.

“Alice, subconsciously dong. You are nothing in his heart. You know, right? He just thinks of you as a co-worker,” muttered Alice while tapping slowly on her head.

Alice put her head to bed at the table and played the clock in her room. A doraemon-shaped clock that is always compared to it. Cartoon characters are so popular.

“What do you think hates me?” alice asked the dead thing in front of her.

Alice chuckled, realizing the stupidity she had just made and immediately erecting the body. He'll be back to work when his phone rings. Show Dave's name on the screen.

Alice immediately raised the call.

“Halo, Alice,” greet Dave from across the line.

“Hello, Dave. What's up?” alice asked awkwardly as this was the first time she had gotten a phone call from the man.

“After this you have an event?”

“No. Why?” Alice frowned confusedly.

“I want to take you on the road. If you are not busy but. If you are busy next time,” said Dave with a sweet tone.

Alice smiled faintly hearing from across Dave chuckling. “Yes, I don't have a job. Send me the place you want to go and I'll go there,” Alice replied with a thin smile.

“Ah, no. I'll be there,” Dave chirped with passion.

“Good. Then I'll finish some of the remaining work. If you get there, you can call me. I'm going out,” said Alice while typing a few sentences on her laptop.

“Good. See you later.”

“See you,” Alice replied quietly.

Alice sighed slowly and leaned her back on her big chair. “Maybe it's time I forgot about you, Bara. I just felt like you. So I have to forget about you before my feelings get bigger,” Alice murmured as she closed her eyes, permeating the sense of no man she had.

Dave sighed slowly and turned off his laptop screen. After the screen dimmed, Dave immediately stepped out of the room. Occasionally throw a smile at another employee greeting him. After working a long time with Michael, he also felt his life was improving. At least not like when he was abandoned by his father for the first time. Now he has become independent and even got a good position in Michael's company.

“Dave, where are you going?” asked Michael who was just about to return to his room.

Dave who saw his boss in front of him smiled faintly and stepped closer to Michael who was stopping on the stairs and looked at him. The look was normal and not as cold as before.

“Where are you going? Very cheerful,” Michael chapped while looking at the appearance of Dave, his employees and friends.

“I'm going to go for a minute. I have business with Alice,” answered Dave honestly

Michael who heard a small smile and nodded understood. “Good. Please Dave, I'm glad you finally forgot about Rensi,” seductive Michael made Dave squeak little.

“Already, I want to go,” said Dave who immediately stepped up. He was about to leave when his arm was prevented by Michael, making him stare with a frown. The man before him was already staring with a serious look.

"I heard you were betrothed to Alice. Are you sure you want to marry him? He's like a little brother to me, Dave. I hope you don't intend to hurt him,” Michael said as he stared fixedly at Dave.

Dave smiled slightly and patted Michael's shoulder slowly. “I'll make it bahagaia, Michael. So relax. You don't have to worry about it,” Dave promised with a big smile.

Michael who heard felt relieved and immediately let go of his grasp. He was with Alice. He knew what was really in the heart of the girl, but dared not say it. It's Alice's business and not hers.

“I hold your word, Dave,” Michael remembers still feeling anxious. Alice is his best friend.

Michael who heard just nodded slowly. Dave stepped away from her. Michael who saw Dave had gone away breathed hard and stepped up.

“May you two be a match,” murmured Michael did not want to take a headache.

Bara just stood quietly in front of a large glass window that became a replacement for the company wall. His hand was placed in the pocket of his pants and looked straight at the scene presented before him. There was a strange rumble that suddenly spread within him when he saw Alice stepping along with Dave. His net even turned away altogether.

Bara saw Alice get into Dave's car sighing, regulating his heartbeat which began to be irregular at all. “What's with me?” grunts Bara in the heart.

Bara sighed and turned around and sat down at his desk. Bara forgot what he had just seen, ignoring as far as possible what he felt. He just refocused on what was his job. Work as best as possible.

While in the car, Alice was still silent with her eyes looking straight ahead. There were things that kept him thinking, but he also started to get tired of not finding the source of his thoughts.

“Somebody is troubling your mind, Alice?” dave Yan asked since then to look at the face of the girl next to him.

Alice who heard a little flinched and shook her head. “Nothing, Dave.”

“I see you like so many minds. Do you feel compelled to walk with me?” asked Dave with an anxious face.

Alice laughed and shook her head. “Not at all. I even feel grateful, at least this time I will have fun,” joked Alice trying to avoid the feeling that still hangs.

Dave laughed a little and was still busy with the steering wheel. His eyes stared at the not-so-busy streets in front of him. “I don't think you want to go with me,” Dave said without looking at Alice.

Alice frowned in surprise and looked towards Dave. “Why? I'm happy to go with you.”

“Yes I think we...” Dave hung up his words when the ringing of the phone rang out. Dave stared at the screen of the phone that displayed Bella's name in front of him. He quickly raised the call, ignoring Alice's expression which was still staring suspiciously.

“Halo, Bella,” asked Dave with a serious face. He was silent for a moment listening to the explanation from across that sounded so long. Until a sigh rang out, making Alice stare confusedly.

“Good. You wait for me to come.” Dave turned off the call and stared at the clingy Alice.

“Alice, I'm sorry. Looks like our street show has to be postponed. In my division there are serious problems. I will take you to the office again,” Dave said with a serious face and full of regret.

Alice who heard smiled slightly and nodded obediently. “No problem, Dave. I'll just go back to the office. After all, you should be back at the office soon, right?” alice said understandingly.

“But, i..”.

“No problem,” cut Alice fast, “I can take a taxi, right?”

Dave who heard sighed softly and nodded. He stopped the car and looked at Alice who was busy undoing her seatbelt and started to get out. The girl's smile still looks so sweet in front of her.

“I'm sorry, Alice. I'll call you soon,” Dave said and got a nod from Alice.

Alice stared at the car that had passed away from her with a pushy look. He was left at the top of the road just like that. Alice sighed softly and started to step. Ignoring the cold weather made her feel the coldness touch her skin directly. “Do not grumble, Alice. It's you who asked,” he said with a smile that is still forced.

Alice occasionally rubbed the sleeves that were not covered in cloth at all. His eyes stared at the passing car with a flat look. Until a cloth makes its upper part covered and feel the warmth. Alice immediately turned around and stared with widened eyes.

“Come in the car. Outside cold,” said Bara who was already in front of him.

Alice was silent for a moment and tightened the coats that had been attached to her body. His eyes observed the man who had already turned around and headed towards the car not far from where he was currently standing. Until Bara's steps began to swing, Alice immediately followed with a sweet smile and came back cheerful.
