Chapter 2 - The Warm Smile of Gradi Village
"Heh. heh. heh.." with a breath of gasps.
"What... what should I do..?" with confusion
"In the midst of this darkness, why did this happen..? Wasn't it just around here a beautiful sight..?"
In confusion, he decided to start traveling. With a starving stomach, a frightened heart, and a messy mind he began to search for answers. After walking for a long time, he found that the dark part was only the surrounding area. He came out from the dark side and began to set foot on the green ground.
After he came out of the dark side of the ground he was peeling, he began to estimate how wide the dark land. After he estimated from a distance he was walking, and knowing that the dark side had a circular shape, he learned that the dark side of the land was approximately 12.6 KM. He was also quite surprised to know the results of his calculations. He again confirmed it by counting again but the result remains the same. He began to walk away after being quite sure of the vast dark side.
He walked with gasps like a starving man. After a long walk, he saw a village. He also entered the village. The villagers looked at him with astonishment, suspicion and fear. Then he fell down and fainted on the spot.
"Agh.." started to open my eyes
"Where is this..?"
"ah! You're awake, aren't you?!" ask a woman
"Hm? Wh-wh-who are you?" with confusion and fear and into the corner of the bed
"Eh-eh. calm down anyway." said the woman.
"My name is Liliana, one of the villagers."
"Hahaha, don't be ashamed. Hm. if only I might it not be so precise. The residents are here to help you." she replied with a beautiful smile.
"Be all right." she replied again
After chatting long enough, he also found out that the name of the village is Gradi. Residents in the village saw it with suspicion and fear because of the darkness that made the hill area full of darkness. In his heart he felt quite guilty because he was most likely the one who caused the disaster. Though only an estimate and full of doubts.
"Oh yeah. By the way, what's your name?" ask the woman
"Na-name? My name's..? Name." he also began to fall
"A-ah, it might be rude to ask the name of a new person." continued the woman
"Ti-ti-no. it's not that. it's just that. I. forgot..no I don't know if I. have a name." with sadness.
"Oh. That's okay. someday you'll definitely find the right name for you!" the woman replied with encouraging effort
"Yes.. Thank you.." With a smile that he had never shown in this world before
After talking for about 10 minutes, he and the woman walked out of the house to greet the other residents. And the previous unpleasant sight disappeared from the eyes of the residents. A warm welcome to his safety and a welcoming party were held in the village.
A cheerful face, a warm smile, and happiness she had never felt before. He also realized that there must be a reason why he was summoned to this world. Although he still felt his trauma of solitude, he felt that in this village, he could no longer be alone. He was sure that in the village he would find the answers to all his questions.
