Chapter 117 - The Plan of the Cron and the Past of Vanta

The next day Kron, Rexus, Rias, Raptor, Yuno, and Gordon gathered in front of the residence of Kron. They were dividing the tasks and when they were dividing the tasks, the door of the house opened.

Hearing the sound of the door opening, Kron and the gathered looked directly at the door of the house. And behind that door, Vanta walked up to them with a slight tremble.

"Vanta? What's up ?" ask Kron

"I can't sleep all night. When I want to close my eyes I always remember the story of Mr. Gordon." replied Vanta

Kron and the others fell silent. After a moment of silence, Kron remembered that Rose, Vanta, and Tromoro were not pure Human Race, they were the Demi Human Race.

"Gordon, does that memory-removing Spell also affect the Demi Human Race?" ask Kron

"It seems so, Your Majesty." replied Gordon

The Demi Human Race is a combined race between the Human Race and the non-Human Race. While there is one more Race that is Mixed Race, which is a combined Race between non-Human Race with other non-Human Race.

"So, what did you mean by coming here ?" ask Kron

Vanta gulps. He took a slow breath and asked for a privacy room so that he could speak without being heard by his other friends.

Kron granted the request and cast a teleportation spell. They moved to the island on the other side of Orion.

"It's really amazing.you can use the teleportation spell to this extent." said Rias who was stunned.

"Hahaha, thank you for the compliment. Now we go back to the main topic. In this place the possibility of someone watching is very small, so you can tell the story calmly" said Kron

"Well." replied Vanta who was amazed by Kron because he could move them to an island in the middle of the ocean

Vanta starts to tell about what has been weighing on his mind all this time even after hearing the story from Gordon, he is increasingly burdened with what he thought all along.

In the end, he could not bear the burden and decided to tell a story. Last night he tried to tell his friends what he was thinking, but every time he would knock on his friend's room, he realized that his friend was now experiencing very high emotional stress.

He decided not to tell it to his friends, and he became depressed. And as he was walking back to his room limply, he realized that the dining room lights were still on. He then peeks and sees that Kron and Gordon are still awake.

He overhears a conversation from Kron and Gordon.

"So, did you hear my conversation with Gordon ?' ask Kron

"Ma-I'm sorry for my impoliteness." replied Vanta

"What's wrong, move on" Kron said

The secret conversation between Kron and Gordon was about where the real Royal Advisors were, and why their real figure had to be hidden. Vanta who heard this was certainly surprised not to play because he did not expect that the figure from who was considered the strongest figure in Orion was just a fake figure.

Vanta immediately ran to his room and he felt that he could tell the things that had been a burden on his mind so far to Kron and his people.

Vanta took a breath and prepared to start the story.

"Actually, I am not a pure Human Race. As you know I have Mantra Skills that are impossible to find in the pure Human Race" Vanta said

"The Dark Mantra is a derivative of the Black Mantra, a Mantra that is only owned by the Devil Race or people who contract with the devil" said Vanta.

Vanta's words startled Rexus, Rias, Raptor, and Yuno. Gordon and Kron who already knew of the discrepancy regarding the Mantra Skills of Vanta were not surprised to hear that fact.

"So, what are you trying to say ?" ask Kron

Vanta was surprised to hear the words of Kron. Vanta who has explained that he is a descendant of the Devil Race, a race that is hated and becomes an enemy of all races in Essaract but with ease Kron responds to the story of Vanta.

"Don't you hear what I'm saying, huh,,? I am the descendant of the devil! Descendants of the despicable race who cause wars, hatred, and bloodshed where the !" yell Vanta

"Then ?" ask Kron

"(Vanta showed a rather irritated face) Don't you know what he means?! Are you stupid ?!" yell Vanta

"People are avoiding me! After they found out about the fact they turned away from me, excommunicated me, and hostile towards me !" vanta says

Again, Vanta was surprised by Kron's words.

"Do you think your current friend won't accept you like an old friend of yours? Wait, do you think the people who stayed away from you were your friends? Don't joke, you fool." Kron said

"A friend won't leave a friend no matter what. Whether he is a noble, a maid, a merchant, a laborer, or even has a bloodline like you, a friend will not leave his friend whatever the circumstances."

"Do you think your friend will leave you after knowing your bloodline? Are you so stupid that you don't realize that your friend already knows your bloodline? Anyone would know that the person who possessed the Dark Spell Skill was a descendant of the stupid Devil Race" Kron said

Kron's words slapped Vanta as hard as he could. He cried because he realized it all. He was too busy thinking about whether he was accepted or not without realizing that his friend had accepted him from the beginning.

"Now, never underestimate what a friendship rope is. You already have the rope then hold it tightly the friendship rope.not to be interrupted and you regret it at the end.' said Kron.

Vanta raised his head and looked towards Kron. He then wiped his tears and stood up and thanked Kron for listening to his story and giving a slap so he could face the burden of his mind all along.

"Well, since we're done, we're going back to Orion. Everyone be prepared" Kron said

They return to Orion after the Kron casts a teleportation spell. In front of the residence Kron had lined up his friend with puffy eyes from crying all night.

"Lincoln.no, Kron !" justin said

"Yes ?" ask Kron

"We still don't know who you really are, and we still don't know about whether Mr. Gordon's story is true or false. Therefore, we" said Justin

"We will remain here until the question within us is answered !" shouted his friend Kron who lined up besides Justin

"Yes, it's up to you" Kron said with a smile.

After that, they re-entered the Kron residence and started breakfast. After Rexus's breakfast, Raptor and Gordon request permission to leave Kron's residence and begin planning on Kron's orders.

Kron allowed and the three of them left the residence of Kron. Kron then calls Cerberus and Sterben, asking that Cerberus and Sterben train their friends.

His friend Kron was surprised to hear Kron's words, they never thought that they would train with such a powerful figure even stronger than the Royal Advisers.

Cerberus and Sterben then call upon his men and the training of his friend Kron begins. Kron then asked Yuno to cast a new Spell, a Spell that can make a room soundproof as long as we are in the room.

Yuno then cast the Spell and thus they did not have to worry that their training would be known to the outside party.

Kron also asked Rias to cast a spell capable of detecting anything approaching to the vicinity of the Kron residence within a radius of 5 km. Kron also asks Rias to tell Rias everything that is strange to Rias to Kron.

Preparation is nothing but to prepare for the threat in the near future. Because based on a premonition from Kron, soon the Demon King will start an action that can threaten the safety of many more people.

Kron has concluded about the timeframe for when the Demon King will begin his assault based on Gordon's story. The Demon King would attack once every year, and the greatest possibility was that the Demon King would attack at the end of the year.

Kron then asked Cerberus and Sterben to collect the ingredients according to the list that Kron gave. Kron also advised Cerberus and Sterben not to take rash actions that could provoke attention from various parties.  Cerberus and Sterben then went and began searching for materials according to the list given by Kron.

And so, Kron's plan begins.
