Chapter 109 - The Fourth

Kron, Raptor, Rias, Yuno, and Rexus will be the test of becoming an adventurer. The exam is followed by all 10th graders and students who are not yet adventurers.

"Alright, now form a group of 5 people !" shouted the Orrobos who was leading the test

Students then immediately seek out groups. Rias, Raptor, and Yuno were immediately surrounded by many students in order for them to be willing to become one group with them.

Kron and Rexus, who see the impossibility of being one group with the three of them, then look for people who can be part of their group.

As they were walking around looking for members, they saw someone standing in confusion. A girl with long black hair and just pensively knowing she couldn't possibly get a group.

Kron and Rexus then walked up to the girl and Kron was a bit surprised when he saw the girl's face. She is a former classmate of hers, Bella.

"A-anu.. does big brother want a group with us ?" ask Kron

Bella did not answer and just looked at Kron's face. Kron was a bit confused in response to Bella's face which was just silent looking at her face.

"Oi sister, the answer is what is this ?" ask Rexus

"Ah sorry, I daydream." replied Bella

Bella then nods her head indicating she is willing to join a group with Kron. Although he nodded his head, it appeared that Bella was still somewhat hesitant to accept the offer.

Kron, Rexus and Bella then search for the remaining 2 members. They found a pair of confused students.

Kron then came to the couple. The couple introduced themselves as Coby de Horseman and Nathalie Bhunter.

And just after the talk was over, Orrobos called representatives from each of the groups to take a draw.

Kron came forward as a representative and took the stage where Orrobos asked representatives to take the lottery.

As he expected, Kron saw Rias, Raptor, and Yuno standing up to take the draw. The three of them felt bad for Kron because it would be an opponent for the person they respected.

Kron casually immediately took the draw and got off the stage. Everyone was surprised by Kron's attitude that was like a trivialization.

It didn't take long, the participants then talked about Kron. Starting from the rumors about Kron enslaving Raptor Rias and Yuno, then rumors about Kron who used Black Spell to brainwash the 3 people, and other bad things began to be discussed by the participants.

Hearing his King insulted made the 3 men clench their hands and put on an angry face. Orrobos who realized this then immediately told the participants to calm down and start preparing for the test.

"Li-Lincoln..Are you not too eye-catching ?" ask Coby

"Hm?  Why ?" ask Kron

"Yes.just look at their views.it looks like when this exam starts they'll come right after you" Coby said.

"Hm? Is that how ?" kron said as if he didn't care

"Oi what's your name ?" rexus

"Co-Coby." said Coby

"This test is about monster hunting isn't it ?" ask Rexus

"Y-Yes, but the monster is strong! That monster is equivalent to a tier 3 demon you know !" said Coby

Kron and Rexus are shocked to hear Coby's words. The two of them were shocked to hear the extremely low strength of the monster.

Rexus then sighed and muttered questioning the power of the beings in Essaract at this time.  He did not expect that a tier 3 Devil could be said to be strong.

"All right, now get ready! The paper will take you to your exam !" yell Orrobos

From the ground appeared a circle of white color that was quite bright. And moments later, the participants had been moved to the location where they had started the exam.

"Well, without the need to linger any longer, the test begins !" yell Orrobos

When the participants were confused, monster monsters began to move against them. Monster monsters are in the form of wolves, lions, gorillas, elephants, foxes, and crabs.

The size of the monsters also varies. Some are so large that the trees around them appear only knee-high.

Chaos ensued where, the sound of explosions due to Spells was also heard throughout the arena of the test. The forest is very wide and surrounded by a river that restricts the test.

Nathalie who was afraid to hear the sound of an explosion where it ran into Coby's arms. Coby who understands Nathalie's fear embraces Nathalie as if he will protect her no matter what.

Bella just put on a worried face, and she turned her head towards Kron. He saw Kron who was not afraid at all, even appeared on the face of Kron who seemed to want all this to end quickly.

"Rexus, this time you'll take care of it." said Kron

"It is with pleasure" said Rexus, who rang his finger

Elsewhere, all students in Terresia who did not take the exam watched the exam through a giant hologram broadcast on Terresia's main square. The test was also watched by the Orion Elders.

And everyone watching expected an epic fight from the examinees. However, unfortunately, the majority of the examinees even ran a scared lacquer. Especially when looking at such a huge monster.

Rias with her Ground Spell instantly drew all the monsters falling into the abyss she created, the Raptor with his Fire Spell burned away all the monsters she encountered, scorching all the monsters she encountered, and Yuno with her Ice Spell was able to freeze all the monsters she encountered into her bloodstream.

All the students who had been bored immediately returned excited after seeing the action of the 3 people who easily defeated all the demons they encountered.

The Royal Highnesses were also surprised and amazed to see the actions of the 3 people. And when all the action and awe took place, no one realized the enormous and most feared monster had fallen by itself.

The monster's fall nobody knew and left only thousands of incisions all over its body. Again everyone who witnessed the test was again shocked by an extraordinary talent of a participant.

The audience asks who defeated the monster, and a curious Silvanna tries to figure it out using Spell: True Eyes.

But the use of his Spell was unsuccessful because it was prevented by something. And from there, Silvanna began to feel suspicious that there were participants who had strength that was not less powerful than the 3 people who showed their duty earlier.

The exam ended sooner than expected. The total monsters defeated by the Raptor were 18, Rias 16, and Yuno 18. And that way the three of them were immediately given the level of Iono 2, a very high level of adventurers and for the first time in history there is a student who immediately got the level right after the exam he carried out.

Usually the students will get the tiers between Tropo 1 to Tropo 3, and the average non-student adventurers debuting from Strato 1. Justin and the other Pillars alone when the beginning of being adventurers only get the level of Iono 5 and it is already an extraordinary achievement.

The day of the test ended by leaving a big question as to who managed to defeat the monster of such an incredible size.

But everyone agreed that whoever that person was in the future would show his spurs and now he is dubbed as The Fourth.
